(Continued from the Transport Hall)
Dasuke got off the shuttle at what seemed to be the main hub of the Residential District. It was very clearly a shopping district, with stores of every kind, and people and Digimon bustling around going about their business. Dasuke took in the sights. Despite being much louder and more crowded than Binary Meadows, there was a different kind of peace here. No one was killing each other, for starters, so it was already off to a good start. Dasuke double checked his D.I.G. quest report, and saw that he needed to find the hotel and go to room 102B. He looked around, but didn't see any hotels. It was store after store as far as he could see. He walked through the crowd, trying to get the attention of someone to ask for directions. He finally was able to cut off a passing Ganemon and get his attention. "Excuse me, sir. Can you please point me in the direction of the hotel? I seem to be a bit lost." Dasuke asked politely.
The Ganemon seemed a bit disgruntled to be stopped by a human, but he answered just the same. "You're going to head north up this road here for three blocks, then take a left at Monzaemon's Toy Barn. The hotel will be another block up from there. If you reach Numemon's House of Mystery's, you've gone too far. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm quite busy." With that, the Ganemon hurried off before Dasuke could even thank him. Dasuke shrugged and headed off the way he had been instructed. He reached Monzaemon's Toy Barn, which was indeed loaded with more toys than any child would know what to do with, and the kids inside were certainly very occupied trying to find the perfect one, much to their parents dismay. Dasuke gave a small smile and proceeded to take that left turn and headed west from there the next block, passing more businesses as he went. He could see the sign for Numemon's House of Mystery's up ahead, so he knew he was getting close, so he looked around. Sure enough, the hotel was right there, across the street from where he was. He crossed the street and went inside.
There was a Babamon behind the front desk, sitting back in her chair, apparently asleep. A pair of Vegimon wearing bellhop caps were playing a game of catch with the Babamon's broom, tossing it back and forth. When they saw Dasuke watching them, they both raised a vine to their mouths in a sign for him to stay quiet. Dasuke let out a chuckle and nodded to them, then went down the hallway to find the staircase to the second floor. Room 201B was the first door on his right after reaching the second floor. Dasuke tried the door, but it was locked. He knocked twice and declared himself. "Hello? I am Agent Dasuke Moto of W.A.D.A. I am here to answer your call for assistance. Are you home?" He could do no more than wait.

"Just a minute." A voice replied from the other side of the door. Dasuke could hear sounds coming from the other side like things being moved to different places. Eventually after two minutes passed the door was unlocked. A 5'8" busty woman who looked no older than 24 answered the door with a soft smile. She gazed at Dasuke with green eyes and a bit of sadness to her look. "I was beginning to think no one would come. It's nice to meet you Mr. Moto. I'm Delilah." She said in a gentle tone. "I was getting ready to go myself to find my cat. But, it's always better to have a partner." She said playing with her long black hair as she spoke to him. She wore tight black pants and a white shirt with buttons that were all open showing off her stomach and black bra. "I remember I was out shopping when I lost her. So maybe she's still by that area where all the stores and stuff are?" Suddenly her smile disappeared and she was frowning. She looked down at the floor. "I'm worried for her safety here in this place. What if a digimon comes along, finds her, and wants a snack? I can't bear to lose Miko." She looked almost as if she was about to cry. She sighed and then seemed to calm down a bit. "I'm glad you're here. I'm really counting on you to help me out." She looked at Dasuke again. "You would know the area better than I would. I'm not from here. As an agent I assume you're smart enough to track her down." She tried smiling again. "It probably doesn't seem like much compared to what you've probably handled but, It means a lot to me." She waited to see how Dasuke responded.

Dasuke was a little taken aback from the young woman who opened the door. He had been expecting a little old lady or something like that, not this beautiful thing. He found his eyes wandering down and quickly caught himself. "Umm....heh. Yes. Hi. Ahem. N-nice to meet you, too, Miss Delilah," Dasuke stammered while clearing his throat. He wasn't exactly making the best first impression. "Uhh...As I said, I have Agent Dasuke Moto of W.A.D.A., Crimson Riders Guild. We did indeed get your request for help, so here I am. Sorry it took so long. We should have responded earlier, but it wasn't what we consider an emergency, you understand. I just finished up a previous assignment, so I took this free time to help you find your cat." Dasuke wiped his brow as he was aware that he was beginning to sweat. "If you'd like, you can go finish getting dressed, then we can head out to the shops and start our search there? I'll wait out here for you." Dasuke didn't want to say much more for fear of saying something he'd regret. He folded his hands in front of him and stood waiting for Delilah's answer.

Delilah noticed a nervous tone in Dasuke's voice and smirked. "You're cute." She said quietly more so to herself but was still able to be heard. She turned around and walked over to a dresser. She bent over to open a drawer and was in that position for a good minute as she rummaged a bit through the clothes that were inside. She finally pulled something out and laid it on her bed. With her back still turned to Dasuke, she fully removed the buttoned shirt she was wearing almost as if she ignored his offer to wait outside. "Like I said, You've probably handled more important tasks than this. It's fine because you're here now." As she spoke she took the white shirt she put on the bed and slipped it over herself. This new shirt she put on was sleeveless and strapless, leaving some of her chest still exposed. She turned towards Dasuke and looked down at her own attire. "Black and white look good on me don't you think? It's kind of my style." She said with her hands on her hips turning a bit in place to show off her outfit. "Never mind. I got a little side tracked." She said walking towards him. She stopped in front of Dasuke a little bit closer this time where as he could smell very lightly the scent of her strawberry perfume. "Well, Mr. Moto. Why don't you lead the way to the shops, whenever you're ready?" Delilah spoke slower and softer with a smile looking at him directly in his eyes, occasionally looking down to not linger a gaze too long. She rested both of her hands on her thighs as she spoke to Dasuke. When Dasuke would decide to leave, she would walk closely to him at his side after closing the door to her room and locking it.

Dasuke blushed a little when he heard Delilah call him cute, but did not respond. The girl turned around and walked towards her dresser, leaving the door open. When she bent over, Dasuke cleared his throat and looked away, embarrassed. When he saw Delilah take off her shirt, he turned around entirely, despite her back being to him. Dasuke looked up again only when he sensed that she was dressed and asking about how her new outfit looked. Dasuke couldn't really say anything, and was doing his best to remain professional, so he simply smiled and nodded. He was grateful when she returned the conversation to the task at hand.
"Yes, we should check around there. It was the last place she was seen, so it makes sense. Now," Dasuke said, beginning to walk back down the stairs to the lobby after Delilah closed and locked the door and being acutely aware of how closely she was walking behind him, "do you remember which store you were at or near when you last saw Miko? It would help narrow it down a bit." By now, the pair would have reached the lobby. The Babamon clerk was still fast asleep, but her broom had been returned. The Vegimon that had been playing with it were nowhere to be found, most likely they had left to resume their duties.
"By the way, what does Miko look like? Granted, there probably aren't too many Earth cats running around the Digital World, but it helps to know what to look out for. I don't want to be grabbing something and be scratched by an angry Mikemon, you know? Any details help." Dasuke walked up to the front door of the hotel and stepped outside, where he would wait for Delilah to join him.

Delilah thought hard about the first question Dasuke asked. She tried to remember exactly where. "I think it was by a shoe shop. Or it could've been by the food store?" She seemed unsure when she answered. "I guess we could just start by the shoe place. I think the shopkeeper saw me with him." Delilah smiled when Dasuke asked her to describe Miko. She was outside with him when she began to give a description. "He's just the cutest thing! He has orange fur, pointy ears that stand up like this!" She spoke with enthusiasm showing Dasuke visuals by putting her fingers by her head to indicate the ears were pointy. "He's about this big, has a curly tail, and a big black nose!" She said of course with more visuals such as putting her hands at a certain distance away from each other to show how big he was, making a swirling motion with her finger to indicate the tail, and grabbing her own nose. "Also he has big brown eyes. And he's a little bit chubby." Delilah finished describing Miko and looked at Dasuke with a smile. She turned and looked around the outside area they were in. For a minute she had a perplexed look, then she closed her eyes, smiled and put her hand to the back of her head facing Dasuke once again. "It's a good thing you're leading the way, I totally forgot my way around." Delilah said hoping Dasuke would laugh rather than get angry. "Sorry." She said with an apologetic look and a smirk.

Dasuke listened as Delilah described her cat to him, and couldn't help but crack a small grin at her hand motions. However, the fun ended when he realized that she had no idea where she last saw her cat, or how to get there. He put two fingers on his nose in annoyance as he tried to figure the situation out.
"Ok. So you don't know where you saw her, or where that place was. Alright. Um. Well, since I just came from that area, I know the shoe store is this direction," Dasuke said, pointing. "The food place isn't much farther from there. We should get started." Dasuke began to walk in the direction he pointed, and slowed down a bit to allow Delilah to catch up.

Delilah smiled at Dasuke "Oh thank you! I'm so glad they sent such an accomplished well chiseled man to help me save my precious pussycat!" She made motions while she complimented Dasuke that would certainly catch his eye. "Lead the way handsome!" She said. She would then follow Dasuke to the indicated spots, however there was no cat in either place. Just digimon going to and fro. "I haven't spotted my Miko anywhere..." Delilah frowned finding a nearby bench to sit down. She began to sob which caught the attention of passer-bys. "Oh Mr. Dasuke....what is a girl to do?" She said bending over. It was completely unintentional but this current motion left Dasuke with a very detailed view of the uh...grand canyon. As well as anyone currently behind Dasuke. A few digimon caught some bloody noses and fainted. "If I don't find my Miko soon I may just die..."She said.

Dasuke was frustrated when they couldn't find the cat anywhere they looked, and he did his best to avert his eyes when Delilah sat down and leaned forward. He was trying his hardest to remain professional.
"Ok. Um.....if he's not here, where did you go next? Cats have a habit of wandering off to places they find interesting and then coming home when they get bored. So, the way I figure it, we can find a place that a cat might like, or head back to the hotel and see if Miko is there waiting for you. I don't know any other way to find it. I'm sorry for the trouble. But this city is a big place," Dasuke said, trying to console the crying girl, but he felt he wasn't doing too good a job. He was running out of ideas for where a cat could be. He was never much of an animal person.

"Oh! I know where we went next!" Delilah said shooting up after Dasuke asked her a question, resulting in a dramatic chest bounce. Which had a similar result from the citizens in the form of nose bleeds. "Dasuke! I brought Miko to that nice big tree! I wanted to see it! Miko really liked that tree! Perhaps she is there?" She said. She then slouched down and touched her index finger to her chin and looked up to the clouds. "Hmm....I don't remember how to get there unfortunately. Where was it again?" She said trying to remember the way to the tree.

Dasuke placed his thumb and forefinger to his temples, closed his eyes, and sighed when Delilah mentioned the place they went next. It was almost too obvious what was about to happen. He looked back up at the young girl. "Delilah, I think I know where Miko is. It's too simple," he said as nicely as calmly as he could, but there was no mistaking he was annoyed by the girl's airheadedness. "The Great Tree, is southwest of here. Let's go. If Miko is where I think he is, then getting him down is going to be a challenge. You really should be more careful," Dasuke said, leading the way. He would lead the girl through town, staying within arms length of her, but trying to stay a step ahead at the same time. They would soon arrive at the base of the Great Tree, and Dasuke would look up into the branches for the cat he was sure was in there. However, the thick leaves and many branches made seeing through them difficult. Time for his marksman's training to take charge and detect the slightest movement.

Delilah was overjoyed at Dasuke's keen ability to determine the location of her cat. She followed him to the great tree, humming a tune on the way. Her outfit caught the eyes of many on the way, slightly disrupting business transactions. When they got to the tree, Delilah began calling out for Miko. "Miko! Miko!! Here kitty kitty!" Suddenly out of the tree, a Vegimon fell; landing hard on his rump. "Ow!" He cried rubbing his butt, "That darned feline!" He said. Delilah ran over to Vegimon, "Excuse me Mr. Eggplant, did you say feline? Is their a calico cat in that tree?" She asked. The Vegimon looked up and his nostrils each let loose a stream of blood as his eyes fell on Delilah. "U-U-U-Um....Yes.......it's pretty high up. I tried to retrieve it but it just kept climbing....I think it wanted to breast.....I-I mean rest on the branches!" He said licking his lips. "Oh Dasuke! Did hear that!? My Miko is here after all!" Delilah said turning to face him placing her tightly packed butt in Vegimon's face. Needless to say, it was enough to knock him out. Delilah looked back confused at the passed out Vegimon, "Mr. Eggplant?" She said.
If Dasuke looked closely at the top branch from which the Vegimon fell down from, he'd see a calico car resting soundly on the branch.

Dasuke let out an audible sigh as the Vegimon explained that they had indeed found the missing cat, only to be knocked out by its owners "assets". Dasuke turned to Delilah. "Well, we found him. Now, the obvious question. How to get him down?" Dasuke put his chin in his hand as he thought. He looked at the passed out Vegimon and got an idea. Dasuke held up his D.I.G. arm and aimed the palm mounted scanner at Vegimon. The screen flashed, and a stat screen of the Vegimon species appeared, revealing a detailed list of the Digimon's known powers and abilities. Dasuke smiled as he read.
"Perhaps our new friend here can be of some assistance," he said. He walked over to the Vegimon and knelt down, then gently patted what he assumed to be Vegimon's cheek, in an attempt to rouse the Digimon from his slumber. "Vegimon, sir? Are you ok?"

Vegimon came to when Dasuke patted him. He stirred and slowly opened his eyes and mistakenly mistook Dasuke for Delilah as a hallucination. "Oh....such a beautiful angel has graced me with her presence.....please....one kiss!" He said going to wrap his vines around the kneeling Dasuke and upon grabbing something pulling it towards his puckered lips and closed eyes. It would be a moment before Vegimon snapped out of it. Depending on what happened one of two scenario's would play out: Vegimon would realize he was kissing Dasuke and immediately panic; pushing him away and jumping up to his...feet? Backing away a few inches and spitting on the ground. If he somehow missed the kneeling Dasuke and got a pocket of air he'd open one eye in confusion to realize that he was merely daydreaming.
With an angry tone he'd answer either way. "What are you crazy!?" He'd scream. Delilah stayed behind Dasuke looking as lost as ever. "I can't believe you would (attempt to) kiss me!!" Vegimon would say coming to an idle posture. "I should report you to your superiors!!" He said.

Dasuke was caught off guard as Vegimon began wrapping his vines around him, and when he realized what was about to happen he freaked out and pulled back quickly, evading the horror of Vegimon's daydream. Out of reflex, Dasuke leapt to him feet, grabbed his bow, readied an arrow, and aimed at Vegimon in a split second. However, he came to his senses just as quickly, and lowered his weapon without firing. He didn't much appreciate Vegimon yelling at him when he popped up, though.
"As I recall, sir," Dasuke said, keeping his weapon lowered, but not putting it away, "you attempted to grab me. I would be well within my rights to arrest for assault of a W.A.D.A. Agent. But I'm willing to look the other way if you agree to help me. Now, care to hear me out, or shall I escort you to my office in cuffs?" Dasuke said. He gave a small smile. He had no doubt that Vegimon would agree to his terms.
