Vital's attacks came out one after another but somehow Talvi was avoiding everything, she couldn't believe it and because of her disbelief that this human girl was taming her that she did not react to what came next. Talvi tripped Vital and she fell flat on her face and was pinned to the ground. Talvi mocked her and it began to peel away at Vital's calm mind, Vital was now convinced that she could not take on Talvi in this form. No not while Talvi knew her own bodies weaknesses. Vital would need to completely become a digimon and truly teach her despair. Vital listened to every word Talvi said and Vital's facial expression changed, it became fearsome and much more ferocious, "You presume to much." Vital gathered wind beneath her and began to use it to lift herself up whether Talvi was on top of her back or not. Should Talvi hang on to Vital while they're airborne, she'd discharge a powerful burst of wind to force her off. She turned in the air and looked to Talvi with a wrathful expression, "I will show you true power. Not the false pretending power you claim to have. Sister, you will know that I am truly powerful! You will know that I am beautiful! You will know that I am your doom!" She lifted her hand into the air as a fractal code surrounded her fingers.
It swirled around her body and covered her like a cocoon, "Spirit.............Evolution!" The fractal cocoon peeled away revealing an entirely new form it was that of the mythological anthropomorphic bird known as a harpy and in fact it's name was, "Harpymon!" It floated in place it's wings spread out, white feathers floating gently to the darkness below. It's piercing gaze fixated on Talvi and it's blank expression unreadable. It's head twitched and cocked to the side, something was different about Vital now besides just the new form. Vital floated down to the ground, landing gently. It was cooing every time it's head twitched to either side, it was standing slightly bent over. If Talvi didn't know any better, she'd have thought it was a soulless beast. Vital was not speaking but eyeing Talvi, the moment Talvi twitched in the slightest though, Vital with Harpymon's enhanced speed would be on Talvi in mere moments with it's taloned feet extended to kick Talvi. Talvi would have less then 30 seconds to mentally decide to react. Should the talons hit, Talvi would feel a worlds of difference in strength from Vital moments ago. Should Talvi dodge in any direction, Vital would quickly react with a Wind Seeker, vaccum blade which, if it connects, would be much worse and make Vitals from before be extremely palpable in comparison.
If the inital kick hits, Vital would assume her previous stance without a change of expression or a word.

"You presume to much." Talvi hadn't assumed it. The mirrored version of her said she knew her memories.....then again maybe she did. memories are not feelings after all. "I will show you true power. Not the false pretending power you claim to have. Sister, you will know that I am truly powerful! You will know that I am beautiful! You will know that I am your doom!" Talvi prepared for a massive attack her boy ridged and ready to dodge or block. She watched the code warily.
"Spirit.............Evolution!" Talvi was surprised her eyes focusing on the being before her. "Harpymon!" Talvi just stared for a long moment. Beautiful was a word for it she had to admit. The white feathers, the head piece....everything looked lovely. This thing was completely different. She shifted her stance wondering what it would do next. Suddenly this bird like digimon was upon her. She tried to duck out the talon catching her shoulder and sending her flying. It felt as thought her arm had been torn off and she cried out. She laid on the ground doing her best to convince her mind it was not missing.
She cast a glance at....Harpymon was it. Her eyes showed her pain. She had wanted to anger her and she did it. The results while unfavorable were desirable. There was nothing left to hide. She sighed and looked up at the ceiling.
"So there you are." she spoke somewhat to her self. The earlier manic tone gone. "I knew there was more to it. i didn't know what....but i could feel it. You weren't just my opposite or my mirror. No it was something else....I just couldn't put my finger on it."

Harpymon remained expressionless and listened to Talvi, "Do you understand now?" Vital spoke. It was almost and entirely different person speaking, the voice was calm and focused and it did not sound lustful. "I am the Digimon portion of you, you are the human portion me. We're meant to be one, so let us become one. Two becomes a whole. As the hero of this game, I can offer you my protection. You can go on living inside me, I have no more desire to continue this pointless and idiotic battle. We have already elapsed an hour and a half. Now come, Talvi and become assimilated do not prolong this anymore then we have." As Vital continued to talk, her voice reflected Talvi's more in Digimon form then when she was human. "I'm a boss that cannot be beaten at your current level." She said cooing in between every other word every time her head would twitch from side to side. Vital remained stationary and waited Talvi's answer.

"Do you understand now?" Talvi was coming to understand. She knew what to do...to a degree. Now come, Talvi and become assimilated do not prolong this anymore then we have." That long? Time flew when fighting for your life she guessed. "I'm a boss that cannot be beaten at your current level."
"I understand." she spoke as she sat up using her uninjured arm as the other still throbbed. She sat there Indian style and looked to the harpymon. "You know though. Assimulating me would be like putting me back in cage. I've lived my life between four walls. I wasn't allowed outside those walls because people hated my parents." She looked down at her heads as she spoke trying to speak honestly. Something she could rarely do with others. "You say it is to protect me....then follow me as my bodyguard. I never want to be caged again. As the spirit of wind you can understand that right?" she looked up as she questioned the bird.
"You can come and try. But I don't want even a gilded cage." She says and remains sitting making no move to attack or run even should the harpymon approach. She would wait for her to start the assimilation process. She needed to learn how it was done. Then she could reverse it on harpymon. She knew she could. Her will was strong about this.

Vital stopped her twitching as Talvi spoke, "Yet you would have me caged in a weaker vessel?" Vital asked. "I am familiar with the hatred of our parents, and the escape through our virtual life. Our need to be free. We are free spirits like the wind in need of freedom. This is why we tried to sever ourselves from those that could not understand. These circumstances are unfortunate but only one of us may be free this day." Vital stretched out her wings and took flight.
She hovered and glided to be above Talvi, "As a false you I could not control myself or think properly. My mind was clouded by different thoughts. Shrouded by overwhelming feelings of a corrupted love for you. Now that I have assumed my true form, I can think like you. I know what it is you wish to do and I will not be taken a fool of. After all, the first rule of fighting games is to read your opponent and react." Vital crossed her wings and gathered wind in it's center.
"This one will ensure you are to weak to fight my assimilation, Wind Seeker!" Vital launched a powerful vaccum blade down at the sitting Talvi, even if Talvi were to avoid a direct hit, the force of the attack would cause it to explode on impact sending a weaker burst of wind outward in all directions. The after effect wouldn't deal any serious damage but it would hurt. Though if Talvi dodged far enough she could avoid it all together.
Vital would continue her attack if the last hit or miss, she would fly towards Talvi and attempt to grab her head with her talon and drag her several feet across the ground. After Vital would whip her body to throw Talvi from her talons. Should Talvi avoid Vital's follow up attack she would stay airborne circling around, waiting for an opportunity to attack again.

"Yet you would have me caged in a weaker vessel?" She admitted she was weaker. That meant nothing in the long run. "I am familiar with the hatred of our parents, and the escape through our virtual life. Our need to be free. We are free spirits like the wind in need of freedom. This is why we tried to sever ourselves from those that could not understand. These circumstances are unfortunate but only one of us may be free this day." Talvi watched her take flight. It was true only one shall be free of their prison. Talvi tried to appeal to her using her own logic against her.
"As a false you I could not control myself or think properly. My mind was clouded by different thoughts. Shrouded by overwhelming feelings of a corrupted love for you. Now that I have assumed my true form, I can think like you. I know what it is you wish to do and I will not be taken a fool of. After all, the first rule of fighting games is to read your opponent and react." Talvi smiled at this. Indeed it was one of the first rules even to fighting in real life.
"This one will ensure you are to weak to fight my assimilation, Wind Seeker!" Talvi reacted rolling from her sitting position. Yet not rolling far enough it seemed as the fallout from the initial blast hit her knocking the wind out of her. She slid across the floor shaking her head and getting up.
Talvi saw the talons her eyes widening slightly. She bent her head back as she grabbed it. Her hands struggling to prevent it from coming closer. She threw her body weight back dragging the harpymon closer to the floor. She then threw her own leg around the harpymons grappling it. The birds distanced attack could do great damage. She had to remain close. She would hiss should the talons from the current leg and the other one claw at her. She would refuse to let go however. She had to figure out how to injure one of the wings.
Her mind started filling with ideas and possibilities but it would take her a few moments to figure out the one that would truly work in this situation.

Vital's piercing gaze watched her closely relying on the birds superior eyesight. She was confident she'd be able to pick up on any movement she'd make. Talvi eliminated her Wind Seeker by gripping her leg. Though the nails of that same leg were slowly pushing into her body as she tried to push away.
"You continue to fight, though I am stronger. You impress me Talvi my hostess." It seems Talvi was starting to break through to Vital. "However, you are still merely human. Silent Symphony!" Just as the mythological harpy was known to sing with a beautiful voice to lull those who hear it to slumber, so to was Harpymon now. Her voice was sweet, akin to a loving mothers lullaby. A voice so sweet, it melted nightmares away and relaxed the mind. It was almost angelic.
This song would try and put to slumber or at the very least cause Talvi to be blissfully dazed. Should the song be effective, Vital would grab Talvi before she would fall to the floor, and gently lay her down. Vital would stand to the side and eye her, "I promise to live a free life for us both." Vital would begin the assimilation. A yellow streak of light would leave Vital's chest and connect itself to Talvi's own. If it was successful, Talvi's body would slowly disappear from the feet up.
Should the song not work, and Talvi's grip remain strong, Vital would be further impressed but say nothing, she'd fly high and then dive bomb towards the ground and attempt to slam Talvi hard into the ground, she'd repeat until Talvi would let go. After, Vital would fly away giving distance and fire another Wind Seeker downward at Talvi.

"You continue to fight, though I am stronger. You impress me Talvi my hostess." Talvi had honestly surprised herself through this whole ordeal. "However, you are still merely human. Silent Symphony!" The angelic voice that swirled in her ears was so calming and soothing Talvi was surprised.
Talvi tried to fight it her mind becoming muddled with sleep. Her body slackening slightly. She refused to let go but her dazed state prevented her from doing anything. Finally she just slid off after awhile. The gravity pulling her down as she was unable to scramble for a hold. Before she could hit she felt a grip. Her mind was muddled and she couldn't figure out who it belonged to. She landed much softer than she had expected and she wobbled her head. Her mind telling her it was time for sleep though her body said move. It was like a sleep paralysis. She was faintly aware and yet could do nothing.
"I promise to live a free life for us both." Vital would begin the assimilation. A yellow streak of light would leave Vital's chest and connect itself to Talvi's own. If it was successful, Talvi's body would slowly disappear from the feet up.
Talvi felt heavy but then started to feel lighter. Something was wrong. There was light. It wasn't morning yet was it. She hated the fact she always woke up when the sun rose. She had to have blackout curtains in her room. Where were those blasted curtains. She'd have to ask Isabelle to stop doing that. The old maid had a tendency to start chore then do something else and forget the other one. She needed those curtains to sleep longer and to block away the outside she desired but couldn't have. It allowed her to create her own world.
"Isabelle..." she muttered lazily her hand coming up as though to block out the yellow light. Her hand touching the harpymons chest above the heart.
It took her a long moment to realize the light wasn't gone and that there were feathers in her hand. She moved her fingers petting them slightly. Her eyes finally opening and looking at the harpymon. Her predicament slowly coming back to her. She removed her hand and looked down t the body she could no longer feel. Her hips were slowly dissolving and she froze. It frightened her knowing she was disappearing. Though had she ever truly existed. Sure she was heard about and a few people knew her yet only two or three would mourn her. Grains of sand, in the vast ocean of people. She had at least wanted to be a small stone. Someone who would disappear in time but long after she was dead.
She reached back out to harpymon her hand gripping her shoulder and pulling herself up. She threw both arms around the digimon. Hugging her close the yellow light muffled between their bodies.
"You know. We desire the same thing and yet only one of us can have it. Life is not a fair mistress." she said into her ear hole. "Yet, we both find the will power to fight for it through and through." She focused on that beam fighting against its flow desiring it to change direction and regain her lower half. If she succeeded she could tell as the light would change. "No matter what....I won't forget you and I'll always forgive you."

Talvi had begun to awaken, she reached towards the soul chain grabbing Vital's chest where the heart would have been. Vital knew her song was wearing but it was to late, the attachment was made and more then half of Talvi had been absorbed. Talvi sensing she had lost, threw her arms around Vital hugging her close. "You know. We desire the same thing and yet only one of us can have it. Life is not a fair mistress."[/font] she said into her ear hole. "Yet, we both find the will power to fight for it through and through." She focused on that beam fighting against its flow desiring it to change direction and regain her lower half. "No matter what....I won't forget you and I'll always forgive you." Vital was touched by Talvi's sentiment but Vital would not succumb to Talvi. She felt Talvi's struggle to reverse the flow, but it would be for naught.
Vital to strongly believed that Talvi would be better off apart of her. Vital did love Talvi, and wanted her to feel the freedom of wind but felt like Talvi would not be able to reach that level even with the power of wind. Talvi was fading, her chest, arms and head were all that remained. It would be over soon and Vital would find a new host to love and give the gift of freedom to by assimilating them as well.
The ending of this assimilation seemed hotter then usual though. What an odd sensation. How could the concept of heat be here? There was no sun so why was the heat rising? Vital's face for the first time showed concern. Then she saw a flicker in the distance, a small blue light. It caught Vital's attention, and the assimilation paused. As a result, she stopped fighting and a blue light came from Talvi's chest and stopped half way so that the soul chain was half and half.
Talvi's body slowly began to return. Vital watched the blue light grow brighter and bigger and the heat got stronger. Vital then realized what it was and that it was aimed at Talvi. "Talvi!!! Look out!!!" Vital said grabbing her with her wings and turning around. The fireball hit Vital and she screamed in agony. Talvi was completely protected but she could feel the intense heat. Talvi's body had been completely restored and the soul link severed.
"Wow, so the wind spirits really DO love their hosts. How nauseating." A man's voice said walking into eye sight. Vital looked to see a soul form of a man with blue fire in his eyes and in the palm of his hand. "No wonder you were going to allow yourself to be assimilated in the end despite all your efforts. My master was right to send me." He laughed and thick steam came from out of his mouth.
"Who are you?" Vital asked. "Your new boss. Hand over a part of your spirit and give the rest to the girl like you planned." He said. "I will do no such thing." Vital turned to Talvi and her face saddened. "Your heart reached me in the very end...I was unsure if you were trustworthy. You deserve to know the freedom of wind afterall. I should have made my decision sooner, quickly take my power before this intruder inte--" Vital was stopped before she could finish her sentence as the intruder punched Harpymon in the face sending her sliding on the ground leaving Talvi near the man of fire.
"Heh heh heh....I hope you put up more of a fight then the kid did." The heat coming off this person was unlike anything any regular living thing could endure. It felt like Talvi's soul body was melting, of course it wasn't but the sensation was still there. The man looked at Talvi, "I'll take it from here toots, the names Costt. The hybrid of fire. I'll beat that cock senseless and then she's all yours. I expect to be paid back in full for the assist. Ha ha ha ha!" Costt laughed and started walking towards Vital who had taken to the air.
"Spirit....Evolution!! Blue Meramon!!" Costt had evolved just as Vital did before into a person of actual fire which did not improve the heat situation. "All I want is a smidge of your spirit. Then we're square!" He said. Costt ran forward towards Harpymon.
1 hour and 45 mins remain.

Talvi felt the warmth but did not move from her hug. She knew in some sense they had gotten through to one another."Talvi!!! Look out!!!" Talvi started at her yell. Her body was engulfed in feathers then she felt the hit. A force that pinned them together a moment and harpymons cry of pain.
"Wow, so the wind spirits really DO love their hosts. How nauseating." Talvi followed the voice with her eyes to see a man. Fire burned in his soul if his eyes were any indication. "No wonder you were going to allow yourself to be assimilated in the end despite all your efforts. My master was right to send me." He laughed and thick steam came from out of his mouth.
"Who are you?" Vital asked the very question that was on her mind. "Your new boss. Hand over a part of your spirit and give the rest to the girl like you planned." Talvi frowned at this. "I will do no such thing." Talvi looked to Vital as she noticed she head returned her attention to her. "Your heart reached me in the very end...I was unsure if you were trustworthy. You deserve to know the freedom of wind afterall. I should have made my decision sooner, quickly take my power before this intruder inte--" Talvi sat up as harpymon went flying from the hit. Her gaze turning from harpymon to the man of fire.
"Heh heh heh....I hope you put up more of a fight then the kid did." The heat was next to unbearable....heat? No her mind was playing tricks again. It was associating fire with heat. "I'll take it from here toots, the names Costt. The hybrid of fire. I'll beat that cock senseless and then she's all yours. I expect to be paid back in full for the assist. Ha ha ha ha!" Talvi growled and got up behind him. Toots....oh what an arrogant jerk. She could see hat already.
"Spirit....Evolution!! Blue Meramon!!" She backed slightly at this. She took in the new form hesitantly. "All I want is a smidge of your spirit. Then we're square!" As he ran forward she followed at his heels.
The heat was strong but she felt the need to stop him. Him taking even a small part of harpymon seemed wrong. She leaped at him ignoring the heat to grapple him. She hissed and kept telling herself the fire wasn't real. She closed her eyes repeating this to herself. She would then shout. "Sing!!"
Should her grapple fail she would entangle her legs in his and trip him. They both would fall but she would get up quickly and jump on his back grappling him. The end result remaining the same as she shouted sing. Even though the song would weaken her as well any advantage was a good one.
"You interfered with the wrong trial." She growled at Costt.

Talvi's grapple had little effect on Costt as he simply turned to see her grabbing him, she lacked the strength to knock him over and only burned her soul's body. "Oi, oi, oi....you'll get hurt if you grab me so suddenly, heh heh heh." Costt didn't seem the slightest bit worried. When Talvi yelled for Vital to sing she did just that, "Silent Symphony!" Vital sang her sweet song to weaken Costt but he did not budge, "Hmm...not my kind of tune...try this hot tune!" Costt created a blue fireball and tossed it at Vital who avoided it, the heat however, singed her wings. Vital looked and it seemed the only thing her song did was make Talvi sleepy, "I have an idea, how about you hand over a part of your spirit and I won't fry your beloved host?" Costt said holding a fireball over Talvi. Vital glided over towards Costt, "Leave her be Costt. Your battle is with me." Vital ordered. "Nah, this is much more amusing." Costt smiled as he prepared to fry Talvi. "I was not saying it for her benefit. I was saying it for yours. The soul cannot be destroyed, the more you harm her the more I shall tear out your body until there is nothing left! Besides, Talvi does not need me to protect her. She has proved herself to me during this trial. She is smarter then you give her credit for." Vital said. She attempted to talk Costt's attention away to allow the song to wear off of Talvi.
Vital would not risk attacking Costt as long as Talvi remained in his grasp. "Very well bird, then I'll just see if you really mean it." Costt lifted his flaming hand to try and punch Talvi's head. Vital was convinced she bought more then enough time and did not react.

"Oi, oi, oi....you'll get hurt if you grab me so suddenly, heh heh heh." Talvi feared for herself then. Unlike her battle with harpymon this was completely different."Silent Symphony!" The song rang sweet in her ears and she drooped slightly her grapple failing her. "Hmm...not my kind of tune...try this hot tune!" Talvi did her best to break the songs hold. Her body in a light form of sleep paralysis. She had slid to the ground dazed and moving slightly like she was held down by her own body. "I have an idea, how about you hand over a part of your spirit and I won't fry your beloved host?" She saw the ball of fire her fear rising along with a buzzing sensation not unlike Adrenalin. "Leave her be Costt. Your battle is with me." She heard harpymon's voice. She is smarter then you give her credit for." Talvi struggled to move but the moment she felt the release of sleep on one of her limbs the others soon followed.
"Very well bird, then I'll just see if you really mean it." Talvi rolled a bit and tackled his arm. Her legs wrapped around his head her hands in the crook of his elbow so he couldn't bend his one arm while she tried to choke him with her legs. His fire burned but not s badly this time. She was slowly getting use to the heat. Al bet slowly as it still felt like her flesh if she had any would melt off.
Should her tackle fail she would go between his legs and launch both feet up at his pelvic. though they didn't have parts so to speak it was still a painful area. She would then roll away but remain close enough to attack again. Those fireballs may be good at either range but he was limited in his abilities at close range she was almost sure of that.

It went according to Vital's plan, she bought enough time for Talvi to awake and regain herself. She managed to grip and hold Costt, attempting to choke him. Costt looked unamused and looked at the girl "Are you supposed to be some kind of monkey?" Costt asked. Vital quickly flew into action while Costt's attention was drawn, she flew and grabbed his face with her talon. "Talvi, let go!" Vital said she would then proceed to force Costt's head into the ground and fly at top speed dragging him along. Vital finished by tossing him and Costt landed hard into the ground, Vital flew into the air and gathered wind underneath her wings. "Wind Seeker!!" Vital yelled launching her attack and it connected the fallout of the wind dispersing around the point of impact. Vital narrowed her eyes as she saw Costt move and stand from the floor, "Ha ha ha ha! This is great! You actually can fight! But...." Costt began stretching his limbs. "You're not as much fun as I hoped, so I'm done letting you attack me." Costt said a smile breaking out across his face. "Letting us?" Vital said concerned, she was to late to noticed and could not react as Costt faster then she could see had jumped up to her level. "HA HA HA HA!" He laughed, Vital turned her head slightly just enough to see Costt kick her down into the ground. She landed hard with a bounce and Costt landed with both feet hard on her stomach, Vital's limbs jerked up in response to the pain.
Costt jumped off and kicked Vital in the side and she went flying towards Talvi, if Talvi did not move, she would be hit by the flying Vital and come to a sliding halt. Costt snickered as his devilish blue flame had a demented smile across it, he walked slowly towards them a fireball resting in his hands. Vital struggled to get up and laid where she landed, "He's.....so strong......on a completely different level....then me." She said. "Oi! You done already? I was hoping to beat you a little! We only have an hour left." Costt said still at a distance, though he would be able to catch them in no time if he chose. "Talvi...this is my fault. I'm sorry, I should have trusted you sooner to use my power. He won't let us merge completely unless he takes a part of us. It may be the only way to end this game and still win." Vital said using her wings to hold Talvi should she be near. "I'll continue to fight but as your partner, it is your call." Vital said.

"Are you supposed to be some kind of monkey?" Talvi let out a humph in response. She was simply not strong enough to do anything to him. She felt weak and it pissed her off. She felt the brush of wings as harpymon approached. "Talvi, let go!" Talvi obeyed dropping off onto her back. She sat up as she heard harpymon take off. She watched her drag him along and slam him into the ground. When Vital flew up she knew what was next. "Wind Seeker!!" Talvi knew that move was strong. When it hit she seriously hoped he'd be unable to move for a little after wards. "Ha ha ha ha! This is great! You actually can fight! But...." Talvi knew then he was not something they could handle. Not in an outright fight like this. Without any cover they could not use hit and run tactics either. "You're not as much fun as I hoped, so I'm done letting you attack me." Letting them? Talvi silently curses. "Letting us?" Harpymon voiced the same concern her momentary distraction at his words costing her. "HA HA HA HA!" Talvi started running towards them but stopped short as she read his movements.
Talvi spread her legs wide as harpymn flew towards her. She caught her and they both went back. Talvi twisted her body so she'd land on top hiding most of harpymon from view. "He's.....so strong......on a completely different level....then me." Talvi whispered in return. "I Know." "Oi! You done already? I was hoping to beat you a little! We only have an hour left." Talvi could care less about the time. "Talvi...this is my fault. I'm sorry, I should have trusted you sooner to use my power. He won't let us merge completely unless he takes a part of us. It may be the only way to end this game and still win." The harpymon held her as she spoke. "I'll continue to fight but as your partner, it is your call." Vital said.
"I am going to absorb you." Talvi said focusing on connecting them til she saw the blue light. All but her ears were focused on their connection.
The moment she would hear his steps she would grab harpymon. Physical strength no mattering her. She took her across her shoulder and ran. Zig zagging as she went she had to keep him at a distance until the absorption was complete. She knew it would be for long as he already showed he had superior speed and strength. Should he not approach but throw his fireballs she would continue running and zigging as she felt heat on her back. Dodging underneath, to the side, any way she could to avoid them. Until he got angry and approached. The moment he would catch up she would drop harpymon and turn around attacking him herself. She'd throw several kicks to his pelvis followed by open palms to his head. The strikes were fast and basic so they could easily be blocked. Yet she would would continue until he stopped her prolonging as long as she could.

Vital looked at Talvi, "It's no use....he will just catch up to us...." She said trying to regain her strength as her body began to disappear as the merger progressed. Costt walked behind Talvi as she was running, "Ah the old game of cat and mouse...how simply dull." Costt was unamused and crouched down, gathering most of his strength into his legs. He ran forward at top speed, he was on the girls withing moments of his sprint. He reached out his hand to grab Harpymon but was immediately stopped when Talvi dropped Vital. Talvi began attacking Costt furiously, the flaming digimon not budging in the slightest as he easily blocked each strike, "I told you didn't I? I'm done letting you hit me!" He clenched his fist and threw it out towards Talvi, it would have connected with Talvi as Costt launched it during Talvi's attacks. However, Costt was hit instead with a Wind Seeker to his face. It was smaller then the one before to avoid hitting Talvi but still had enough force to throw Costt's head back. At this point, Vital's chest, wings and head were all that remained so she flew just above Talvi and released a second Wind Seeker stronger then the last. Costt blocked it but it sent him sliding back, "Shame Costt. You should have listened to my warning. I told you Talvi was far smarter then you gave her credit for. Now you don't have enough time to stop the absorption." Vital said almost entirely gone now.
"No! Damn it! I fooled around to much!!" Costt said as he began to run but it would be to no avail, or it would have been if it had not been for what happened next. A small purple stream of energy hit into the soul link connecting Talvi and Vital causing it to sever. The pain would hit them both as their link severed, Vital screamed as her body quickly returned. Costt stopped in his tracks, "Huh!?" He said looking surprised as he looked in the direction the attack came from. "Outsmarted? I'm not surprised. I had a feeling I would need to clean up your mess." A voice said letting out a sigh of disappointment. "I know that voice...." Costt said, Vital looked over to see if Talvi was alright, once she confirmed Talvi's well being she looked to see the new interrupter. Another man clad in black clothing had appeared, "Pleasure ladies...my name is Vinous and as you can guess...I cannot allow you to fully merge." Vinous bowed, he seemed a lot more reserved and calm then Costt. "Huh!? What the hell are you doing here! Gran Dracmon sent me to collect the spirit! Besides, we had a deal with Bagramon!" Costt yelled. "Easy Costt, I am not here to cause grief with your master, Lord Bagramon dispatched me as a liaison. I am to be a token of the pact made between heaven and hell. It seems I showed up in the nick of time as you were about to lose your prey." Vinous smiled which made Costt angry. He could not deny he nearly lost the wind spirit. Vital stood and looked at the two, "Talvi....you should escape. You can still make it out of this place before time runs out." Vital said.
"Oh you don't have to worry about the time, while you were fighting each other I cast a spell my master gave me to freeze it indefinitely. You're not in danger of dying any longer, though that can change at any time. All we want is a simple feather Harpymon. That should be enough to create another wind spirit." Vinous replied. "Is that what you two are? Copies?" Vital asked. "More like, the true hybrids." Costt said. "It's your choice if you wish to fight the both of us, or hand over a feather. Then we will let you both go back to the trial." Vinous said. "How is Anubismon not seeing this...?" Vital asked. Costt and Vinous both laughed, "Did you think Anubismon was all powerful? He is but one demi god and a lower one at that. The spirit realm is vast with much stronger digimon then he. He won't even know we've been here let alone have enough power to find us. Lord Bagramon was very specific in crafting this spell." Vinous held out his hand and a fractal code appeared. "Now...what is your answer?" Vinous asked again. Vital clenched her teeth and looked to Talvi who was know doubt confused and scared at all of this. Vital being a soul had limitless energy to draw from but so to did these stronger foes, Vital did not want to have a copy made of her but she did not want to endanger Talvi any more then she was. "..........You just need a feather yes?" Vital asked not consulting Talvi. Costt and Vinous smiled.
