The Hurricane Eye

Samantha was at first taken aback by the space and the noises coming from all around her. Back home it would have caused her to turn tail and leave but here it was different. It had an inviting atmosphere that calmed her in ways she had thought she had forgotten of. She took a deep breath as she familiarized her surroundings. Vivian had told her to do this in case she felt the need to step back into reality. She was enjoying the layout and she thought it would become her new home as she felt that anxiety of yesterday drain away. She readjusted her hoodie as she glanced around. It kept falling over her entire face and that meant she'd run into something. She was hoping someone would catch her eye so she could introduce herself. She had a feeling someone was waiting for her as she stood there by the wall. She tilted her head as she thought she felt eyes on her. Perhaps she wasn't imaging it after all. She saw a couple of eyes looking her way. she pulled down her hoodie so they could actually see her face. "Hi, I'm Samantha Allison Anderson, I believe I was requested." She said bowing. 

She waited with baited breath as more eyes looked her over. She was glad had remembered to be polite even though she was getting scared. Anxiety was like that, there every second like a hand around your neck choking all life out of you. Though Vivian had told her she once had been like her and that she was safe here. No matter what, she was safe. Now she had her life in her hands again. She took a deep breath as the icy grip returned. she needed a distraction and fast.

Talvi stood inside the door to the guild hall a moment taking it in. she loved the fact they had a fountain. She looked to her D.I.G. to confirm herself of where she was. The moment she had gotten she had started playing with it. She had already discovered the encyclopedia and map system. It was good to be smart and curious. Using her fingers she moved the map around on her D.I.G. find the Guild Masters office. Closing the application she let her arm drift to her side.

She should go introduce herself before anything else. She was raised to a rich family so she knew her manners. You don't explore someones home without first introducing yourself. She headed towards the stairs stopping as someone caught her eye. A person wearing a hoodie looking gloomy, maybe even lost. The person noticed her staring and removed her hood.

"Hi, I'm Samantha Allison Anderson, I believe I was requested." She said giving a polite bow.

So she is here to see the guild master as well, Talvi thought.

"Talvi Taika," she responded bowing in return. "I am heading to the Guild Masters office as well. You are more than welcome to walk with me." she continues.

She walks towards the stairs after listening to her reply.

Samantha smiled as the bow was returned. "Talvi, I've never heard that name before. I like it alot, I'm glad I'm not the only new member here. I forgot to check a map for directions." she said feeling a bit embarrassed. She used her brain more than she let on but anxiety had prevented its use. She tilted her head as she was invited along.

She followed after Talvi. "I'm not used to being around people my own age, it has been months since I've seen a friendly face." She said. She went a bit pink as she realized she had said that aloud. ~Well, this is a good start."~ She thought as she looked up the stairs. She continued on after Talvi as if she was her only means of communication. Well it was true in a sense since she had yet to meet any one else. It sure beat waiting for her sisters to mess with her. she shook her head as she let those thoughts go, that was the past. She had a new home here, one had actually wanted her. Something she never had before and it was still hard to believe.


"Any hobbies that keep your anxiety down? I do landscaping and gardening." She said as she started a new conversation. She liked getting to know people and Talvi struck her as a girl she could get to know deep down. She knew she looked ridiculous in her over sized hoodie but hey it was her comfort zone. she wondered how the guild master would receive them.

"I'm not used to being around people my own age, it has been months since I've seen a friendly face." the girl said following her. She gave a small glance back and headed up the stairs. Her feet echoing slightly on each step.


"Any hobbies that keep your anxiety down? I do landscaping and gardening." She said trying to continue the conversation. It made Talvi feel awkward.

"It is mainly video games for me,"  she finally responded reaching the top of the steps and pushing her glasses up on her nose. She stopped in front of a door and knocked. This was it. She had no idea what to expect but she was sure it was a man of great respect. "Be polite, we want to make a good first impression." she says.

Sam nodded her head as she listened to the reply.  "Any you would recommend?"  She asked as she continued up the stairs. Sam paused for a second as she wondered if she was being too nosy. After all she had no idea how she came off to others. It made her anxiety flare up as she gazed at the girl in front of her. Interacting with others wasn't her forte and she wondered if it showed. she wanted to get off to a good start here.


The point about being Polite made sense to her. "We do want him to get  to know us and get a good footing here."  She replied coming to a stop beside her. After all The Guild master held the key to their success here and she didn't want to botch it. she looked over at Talvi. "I'm sure we'll do great, he knows about us but we'll do our best."She said looking back at the closed door.


Her thoughts shifted to Vivian and how she had told her not to be scared. It was hard to brave considering where she had come from but she still hung onto that bit of hope. The doors seemed ominous as they loomed over them. It made her wonder what lay within. she was excited to know and finally meet the Guild Master.

A Digimon opened the doors to the Guild Masters office, it was a Floramon. "The Guild Master is expecting you, you may go on in." It said leaving the door just a crack and heading back to the main hall.

*Move to Mavus Office*

Gwen walks into the Guildhall with wonder and amazement as she sees how big it is. She continues throughout the building as she looks for where she has to go. Her shoes clapping on the floor as she walks around aimlessly. She attempts to speak to a few people but they just walk past her and ignore her. She sighs as she sits down in a chair nearby with her arm on her knee and her head resting on her hand. She was disappointed, how was she going to become a strong tamer if she couldn't find her way to get her Digimon. She was just about to punch the next person to ignore her until she heard a calm "Hello there miss, is there something you need help with?" She smiles as she turns around to see who talked to her.

Dantelion

A floramon stood before her. Her hands held together lightly and bearing some paper as she took in the lost human before her. With no visible digimon beside her and that rather lost and hopeless expression on her face had been the give away to her being new.

"Here let me show you how to get to the guild masters office," she said with a smile and headed upstairs...and up. Until they reached the correct floor. "I was just heading back here myself," she said opening the door and heading in holding it open for the girl to follow.

Massafear entered the guild hall and marveled at what he saw. He looked around the entire place and was impressed with how large it actually was. The amount of people and digimon in the room at once impressed him as well. It didn't even feel one bit crowded. He walked down the center aisle slowly. His hands were tucked away in his pockets. He looked from side to side, carefully analyzing the room, all those in it, the different activities, and anything else that he couldn't see from the entrance. He remained silent, casually walking passed all the people in front of him. He didn't stop until he got all the way to the fountain. It was his intention to look at his own reflection, but noticed it was a very unique fountain. What a place this was!

This was a good first impression. He could get comfortable working here. He looked up at the quest board and noticed all the different ones available. Suddenly one disappeared, just to be replaced by another. "This is where I'll go to see what it is I want to do." He thought to himself. Massafear was enjoying just sight seeing, but remembered that he needed to meet his boss first before anything else. He looked carefully around to see where exactly he might be. He went back to the front of the room and looked around some more. Finally, he noticed the big door on the balcony portion. "Of course. The very obvious door would make the most sense." He thought to himself. He made his way past all the games and festivities until he finally got to the staircase leading up to the door. Instead of just waltzing in, he looked around to see if he could find anyone to tell him if the Guild Leader was busy.

A floramon started to waltz by. Suddenly her eyes caught the boy. He was standing in from of the guild masters room. He must be another new recruit. Whey really seemed to like this place didn't they.

"Here for the guild leader," she stated or asked. It was hard to tell. She flipped through the paperwork in her arms. "He probably already has your information. So he should be expecting you. Do be polite." She huffed and continued on her way. She seemed very busy.
