Theos watched Kaa jump for the double kick to his midruff. He knew immediately Kaa wouldn't be able to catch himself. So it was up to him to make sure they kept on the pressure. He rushed forward as they both fell back and he pursued the dinohumon. His sword aimed to cut into his face however that was mainly a ruse. If he went to block Theos he would just let the tip of the blade hit as he jumped up and over his bracer possibly using it at a catapult.
If he flinched back to avoid him Theos would twist to one side and aim for the leg as he ran by underneath his arm.
If he lashed out Theos would meet his attack with his sword and slide under his arm and twist away from his leg as he tried to kick. Possibly cutting it.
If he aimed with his leg first since it had to come low Theos would jump on it and stab the leg. Before fleeing back when he retaliated.
If he tried avoiding Theos to retrieve his swords Theos wouldn't let him and throw the sword to slice at his ankles. Then rush after him while he is down to bite into one of his forearms from behind. He would let go after some shaking and retrieve his own blade before retreating back. _
"Who would have thought the second born to be the most dangerous of them all. Tell me...it was no coincidence I ran into Cole was it? The rat had it all planned out from the beginning, didn't he? If so, he is as cunning and as calculating as a king. If we had been fighting any other nation with a digimon like that, we'd both have fallen for his trap and died."
"He is a cunning little bastard that is for sure. He had it all planned and a guarantee if Stall is thinking three steps ahead that boy knows it and is thinking 5 steps. They are trying to out wit one another and right now we are just pawns. I hate being reduced to a pawn," Natalie huffed. She winced at the second one. But after the pain of the first spine her shoulder had gone slightly numb from it. The nurse began measuring and stitching.

Just as the Dinohumon landed, Theos was already on him in a matter of moments. He wouldn't let his enemy recover after Kaa went through all the trouble of getting through his defenses. The Scomparsian couldn't block in time, so he dodged away from the blade. The tip grazed into his flesh, as it's shiny edge shimmered in the sunlight. Theos had already anticipated his dodge, and turned with his slash bringing the blade on the Dinohumon's leg.
The digimon flinched as the sharpness cut through the thread and into his repulsive black scales underneath staining them red. He jumped away from Theos and looked as Kaa joined Theos. He glared at the pair and reached for the spine in his side. He gripped it tight and bit his teeth tightly together as he pulled it out with a spurt of blood.
He threw into the sand and stood up straight, his scowl fading back into a smile. "Guess you two are starting to think a bit and coordinate. How cute." The digimon taunted with a laugh, cracking a creak in his neck.
"I suppose I should get serious too..."
Kemba meanwhile had dragged himself to check on Blake who lay defeated and badly wounded. Kemba's own blood trail behind him. He was happy to discover him not at deaths door.
"Hey Blake...we're gonna get you some help. Don't worry." Blake's bloodied and swollen face slowly turned to look at Kemba. Kemba smiled at him and reached a paw out gripping his arm.
"Kemba..." Blake said weakly, "I'm here Blake. Don't worry save your strength." Their wounded ally shook his head.
"Not...understanding....not normal..." He struggled to say. Kemba cocked his head, "Not normal? The...enemy?"
"C...C...Cur...sed..." Blake said reaching weakly for Kemba's wrist. He gripped it, "C..ur..s...ed"
Kemba's eyes widened when he realized what it was Blake was trying to say, he quickly turned over to see Kaa and Theos.
"Theos! He's not a Scomparsian! He's one of Stall's!" Kemba cried out.
The Dinohumon chuckled and pulled out something from his pocket. It looked to be some sort of ball. It was black and gave an eerie feel. Kaa didn't hear Kemba cry over the sounds of all the battles around them and watched the Dinohumon place the ball into his side where Kaa had inflicted the wound.
The Dinohumon crunched over in pain, clutching his side with his hand and gritting his teeth.
"What did he just do?" Kaa asked. Just then a black aura surrounded the pained digimon, he gasped and cried from whatever the pain. Just then he let out a loud roar and a brush of nefarious energy passed by Theos and Kaa.
The Dinohumon's eyes gave off a mystical dark light and his black scales gave off an evil energy. Kaa hissed as he took in the evil surrounding him. Then before he could register the digimon's movement, he was staring directly into his naval. In blur, the Dinohumon stood in front of Kaa and Theos.
Kaa gasped in surprise but it was replaced by a surge of pain when the Dinohumon kicked the bottom of Kaa's jaw. His maw clamped shut on itself, nearly biting his tongue. Some of Kaa's teeth broke, and his eyes clamped shut. His body jerked off the ground and flew backwards.
The Dinohumon reached forward, grabbing one of Kaa's spines and pulling it from his back. He turned to stab Theos in his side, but if he had jumped away the spine would have been thrown instead with speed. In the same motion, the Dinohumon took his fist and punched Kaa in his back where the spine had once been. The small dinosaur cried out in pain as he hurdled through the air landing into the sand on his belly.
The Dinohumon then turned to look to his swords and jumped towards them. He picked up the small one and then broke the chain connecting it to his Akinakes. He grabbed the oversized sword by its hilt with a single hand and lifted it as if it were his smaller sword.
He turned to look at his recovering enemies. Kaa rising with a tremble and a glare.
"Surprised or scared? You should be if you aren't! This is the strength of Cursed Exodus after all! Ha ha ha ha ha! Now, let's see how well you do when I have a dark seed coursing through my blood!" The Dinohumon's wound had the aforementioned seed rooted to his body. Its black head pulsing like a second heart. It screamed of dark magic.
BATTLE RESUME!
Dinohumon (Infected) Lv. ?
vs. Theos level 39 Kaa level 35 _
"He is a cunning little bastard that is for sure. He had it all planned and a guarantee if Stall is thinking three steps ahead that boy knows it and is thinking 5 steps. They are trying to out wit one another and right now we are just pawns. I hate being reduced to a pawn,"
Grey nodded in agreement, "At the very least you should not be one. My life is not so important. I was to be a pawn from birth. I have been."

"Guess you two are starting to think a bit and coordinate. How cute." The digimon taunted with a laugh, cracking a creak in his neck.
"I suppose I should get serious too..."
Theos fur stood on end as he watched. This feeling it was dread and it made his blood run icy cold like it had done with Ara and Stall. His air had completely changed from the that playful battle like air. It was suffocating.
Theos blinked and he was upon them. The next few things happening in such a blur he almost didn't register them. Theos did his utmost to react his feet just starting to push himself away when he felt a sharp pain in his side. He fell to the opposite side of his wound and looked back seeing a spine sticking out of him. His breathing was labored and he could feel his blood dripping out. He tried to move but felt this intense pain like his stomach was going to rip in two.
"Surprised or scared? You should be if you aren't! This is the strength of Cursed Exodus after all! Ha ha ha ha ha! Now, let's see how well you do when I have a dark seed coursing through my blood!"
"Kaa run," Theos barked attempting to stand again. His back legs not fully cooperating. "GO to him!" Theos yelled referring to his father. Theos snarled as he managed to get one back leg under him standing but in pain. His head hanged forward but his teeth remained showing. Kemba's sword on the ground somewhere lost in the attack.
"I'm your target. Fight me," Theos growled inching towards him. He wouldn't kill him. It was Stalls orders but a fiend like that. He would probably enjoy beating Theos around a bit. _
Grey nodded in agreement, "At the very least you should not be one. My life is not so important. I was to be a pawn from birth. I have been."
"More a knight than a pawn.....maybe I'm the bishop," Natalie hummed a bit in thought wondering which piece she would be.

"Kaa run," Kaa's glance moved to Theos, his scowl turning into a conerned stare, "GO to him!" Theos yelled. Kaa furiously raised his head,
"I won't leave you! I won't!" Kaa insisted.
The Dinohumon looked over to the young prince just as Theos was hobbling towards him, "I'm your target. Fight me," The Dinohumon looked back and smiled.
"Okay," he dashed like a blur leaving a plume of sand behind him. He appeared on the side of Theos with his foot held high and coming down into his side. He held his foot down against his ribs, pushing hard against them. Kaa's spine sinking a bit deeper.
"I have orders to not kill you...I'm supposed to not even capture you. I'm supposed to break you, make you cry and bleed. Make you suffer like you've never endured before. We're going to make you come to us of your own accord when there is nothing left for you to fight for."
Theos's sadistic enemy reached for his tail and gripping it tight, lifting him high and punching him in his stomach. His fist digging as deep as it could. He pulled it out with a laugh and punched at Theos's chest this time. He want to crack or break his ribs.
"You thought you could fight against us? With your little army?" Dinohumon proceeded to throw Theos by his tail and slam him hard into the ground. The Dinohumon grabbed his throat and clenched a fist.
Kemba's eyes widened and he clenched his teeth, "Leave him alone! Leave him alone! Stop hurting him! Stop it! Stop it! Kill me instead!" Kemba screamed with all of the air in his lungs, his voice cracking and changing pitch as he expressed his concern.
The Dinohumon proceeded to punch Theos in the snout, then in the side of his face.
"Though I suppose it's to be expected. You are the son of the king and queen. Ha ha ha ha." He punched Theos in his head one more time before kicking his side and sending him sliding in the sand.
"I was there you know....when we found Paradise...as you Theowmon call it." He walked up to Theos and stomped on his hind leg twice before reaching for the spine in his side and pressing it just enough to cause incredible pain.
"You look just like them you know...strong willed like your father until we broke him by killing everyone he loved. He watched as we took your bitch mother apart piece by piece...and then by piece...and piece again. Your bodies are fascinating things. Able to grow limbs...still hurts as hell...every time."
Dinohumon pulled out the spine with a yank and then plunged it back in but not deep.
"Stop hurting my beeeelle. Stop hurting my beeeelle. Ha ha ha. For such a strong digimon, he cried like a child. We threw her limbs at him and he just cried and cried. You know, I wonder...Theos." He reached for Theos muzzle and grabbed his snout, staring him in they eyes.
"Think you'll do the same with your feline? Let's find out." He released Theos's muzzle and left the spine in it's new spot. It wasn't deep so moving would cause it to fall to the sand. He walked towards Kemba, grabbing his swords as he did.
Kemba managed to get on his feet as his injuries continued to flare, "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Kemba yelled and dashed forward jumping at the Dinohumon with an enclosed fist. The Dinohumon grabbed his face easily and slammed him into the ground. Kemba grabbed his wrist trying to yank it from his face.
He mumbled under the evil digimon's grip and the Dinohumon snickered turning to Theos, "Tell me! Which part of him should I remove first? An arm? Perhaps a finger? Maybe I'll gore out his eyes. You know which part Midas asked for? An ear...do you want to be like your dad and pick an ear Theos?"
The Dinohumon's eyes were drawn down and he smiled he raised his small blade, tracing Kemba's armor down to his stomach and then further stil and rested it's cold, sharp edge against Kemba's sheath, pressing slightly enough to draw a single snake of blood.
"Or maybe your favorite part of him? Ha ha ha ha ha ha." The Dinohumon had been so caught up in Theos torture he did not see the approaching Kaa, who leaped onto his back and bit hard into the base of his neck.
The Dinohumon dropped Kemba on his back into the sand and he cringed. The black scaled fiend wailed in pain as he tried his best to throw the prince off and free himself of his jaws vice grip.
"You bastard!" The Dinohumon reached his short blade around and threw it up, it's metal piercing through Kaa's armor with little trouble and into his hide underneath. Kaa released his bloodied maw from the pain inflicted on hims and yelled into the air, falling off of the Dinohumon.
Their enemy grabbed hold of his shoulder and cringed as Kaa limped from his wounded back side to Theos. He did not think to take advantage of their enemy as his only thought was to check Theos.
"Theos! Theos! Are you okay!? I-I saved Kemba!" Kaa looked over him, "We have to get you and Kemba out of here. I'll take care of him myself."
_ "More a knight than a pawn.....maybe I'm the bishop,"
Grey laughed as the nurses had finally begun treating him, "More like the Rook, your stubbornness always leads you in one direction."

Theos tried to dodge but his speed was too much. He felt a sharp pain as his heel dug in. His sharp yelp piercing the air that turned into a whine of pain. He tried to growl to show he was still in the game but his vision blurred and his mind couldn't think beyond the pain leaving it blank.
"I have orders to not kill you...I'm supposed to not even capture you. I'm supposed to break you, make you cry and bleed. Make you suffer like you've never endured before. We're going to make you come to us of your own accord when there is nothing left for you to fight for."
His words seemed to echo. What was he saying? Theos tried focusing on the words. It started to work then he felt the ground leave him. Suddenly it felt like he had a rock in his stomach. He couldn't even yelp just an open mouth and saliva as it felt like he was about to throw up. Then again; he could hear a snap and a wheeze escaped him as the air was forced out. His world went black a moment. He had no air.
"You thought you could fight against us? With your little army?" He was jarred awake gasping for breath finding it hard. His words lost to him but his gaze said wonders. Theos half open eyes faintly glared at the dinohumon.
"Leave him alone! Leave him alone! Stop hurting him! Stop it! Stop it! Kill me instead!" Theos already couldn't breathe. So as he punched him over and over in the snout blood began running into his throat choking him farther. His snout scrunching a bit with every hit.
"Though I suppose it's to be expected. You are the son of the king and queen. Ha ha ha ha." Again his words were lost. He couldn't breathe and in truth he barely registered the pain and movement as he was sent sliding. He was robed of smell. His senses were on fire robing him of his hearing and light even though his eyes were open. Even though they felt open.
"I was there you know....when we found Paradise...as you Theowmon call it." Theos felt another jar and more pain. A faint whine escaping his mouth through the blood that came out of his open mouth.
"You look just like them you know...strong willed like your father until we broke him by killing everyone he loved. He watched as we took your bitch mother apart piece by piece...and then by piece...and piece again. Your bodies are fascinating things. Able to grow limbs...still hurts as hell...every time." His sight started to come back. His lips were moving but only a faint buzzing....pulsing sound could be heard.
"Stop hurting my beeeelle. Stop hurting my beeeelle. Ha ha ha. For such a strong digimon, he cried like a child. We threw her limbs at him and he just cried and cried. You know, I wonder...Theos." Theos looked into his eyes. Dark and sinister filled with nothing but evil. If had the strength he would have spit.
"Think you'll do the same with your feline? Let's find out." Theos hit the ground with a thump. He was awaiting the next ping of pain. It didn't come though. He was left there slowly trying to regain his sense.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Kemba yelled and dashed forward jumping at the Dinohumon with an enclosed fist. The Dinohumon grabbed his face easily and slammed him into the ground. Kemba grabbed his wrist trying to yank it from his face.
"Tell me! Which part of him should I remove first? An arm? Perhaps a finger? Maybe I'll gore out his eyes. You know which part Midas asked for? An ear...do you want to be like your dad and pick an ear Theos?"
Theos blinked his gaze going to the black digimon. While his hearing was still muffled his intention wasn't. Theos tried to answer with a growl but only ended up choking himself. He coughed then the pain returned and his vision faded again.
Kaa's name died on his lips as he tried to talk. He knew though; even if his mind didn't see it nor his hearing pick it up. He knew Kaa had saved Kemba. Kaa had done that. Despite his wounds. And despite those wounds he was here trying to rouse Theos from where he was. Theos knew he had to move. He had to....his body wasn't answering though.
It was powerless with all the neurons firing off. The signals to move were getting lost. His body twitched but couldn't move. His vision blurred slightly. Were his eyes watering. He had to talk to do something.
"C-c-ora," Theos finally faintly was able to say. He couldn't kill Theos. Kaa...Kemba....Blake...they had to go to Cora. They had to escape and live. Theos would be fine. Tortured maybe but fine. They had to run and he couldn't move to help them.
"G...go," Theos barely made out those words. A slight weeze at the end.
_
"More like the Rook, your stubbornness always leads you in one direction."
"It's always good to know what you want," Natalie said smirking. "I for one want a grand kingdom; and it will happen. Mark my words the moment the crown is mine Scomparsa shall be the greatest kingdom in all the land. Even if it takes decades to do so." Natalie grinned and flexed her shoulder a bit wincing at the pain.

"C-c-ora," Kaa looked him over trembling, he didn't know what to do. Theos blood was everywhere and his faint speaking worried the young prince.
"G...go," Kaa clenched his claw into a tight fist, "I will go...but with you to the medic...and I--" Kaa suddenly gasped and his eyes twitched. His mouth hung open, blood began dripping from it. It dripped and drizzled like a small spout onto Theos. The princes gaze trying to fall back into his head. If Theos could, he'd see the smaller sword of Dinohumon sticking out of Kaa's stomach. His blood streaming down his caramel scales and dying them a crimson red.
Their enemy stood behind him and pulled the blade from Kaa's back flicking the blood from its edge. "Stupid boy...never turn your back to an enemy." Kaa held his newly formed hole, the blood running through his fingers. He coughed up a splatter that landed on Theos face. Kaa turned around slowly and looked at the Dinohumon; his body trembling. Kaa was fighting to keep conscious. He reached for Dinohumon and was allowed to grip his pants in his tiny claw.
Kaa's weak gaze glared at him, he pulled and clenched his teeth. The Dinohumon's evil smile remained as he looked at the tiny prince. Kaa tried to summon forth his fire but it didn't come. "Oi...you're dirtying my pants."
Dinohumon lifted his hand and smacked Kaa across the face with the back of it, Kaa's head snapped in the direction of his hit and flew several feet away, landing in the sand. His body not moving, he lay in the grains. His life pooled around him as he could only stare in the direction his head lay.
"I wasn't going to kill the prince but...he bit my shoulder and I thought it would be pleasant to see him die in front of you." The Dinohumon stood over Theos and grabbed him by his neck, yanking him from the floor.
He dragged Theos through the sand and tossed him down in front of Kemba who couldn't find the words to speak and he only cried silently watching Kaa.
"Now comes the next part, who dies next?" The Dinohumon asked, when Theos didn't respond he clicked his teeth and grabbed him hard. He pulled at his neck until his head was airborne.
"Answer me, who do you want me to kill and who do you want me to save? I will kill one and let the other live. Whose life do you put above the other? Blake, the noble cripple and son of the digimon who gave you food, shelter and the chance to meet Cora? Kemba, the gay feline who you have declared yourself to, the one you love and spent all this time with?"
Blake tried to move, his body still badly wounded. "Now, I know who you'll choose but I need to hear you say it. I need to hear you put someone else's life over another. Time for you to play Goddess! Who dies and who lives?" The Dinohumon looked at Theos and backhanded his snout fairly hard.
"If you don't pick, I kill them both! I'm offering you an opportunity here Theos. We're going to show you just how easy it is to throw lives away." He dropped Theos on the sand and walked over to Kemba. Kemba looked up and tried to stand, only to get kicked in the stomach and knocked down.
"You...sick....asshole." The Dinohumon chuckled and grabbed Kemba by his hair, dragging him across the sand. "Gaaaah!" Kemba yelled kicking, the Dinohumon dropped the feline next to Blake. He then stepped on Kemba's face to keep him down, the wounded child clawing at his enemy's feet.
"You have fifteen seconds Theos, move your snout and point to the one you want to kill. You can do as much can't you? Don't bother trying to reach the king either, if you hadn't noticed, I've already lead you a considerable distance from him. No one is going to help. No one is going to save you. This is the despair Lord Stall has prepared. Now choose, Blake...or Kemba?"
"Fifteen...fourteen...thirteen...twelve...eleven..." _
"It's always good to know what you want," Natalie said smirking. "I for one want a grand kingdom; and it will happen. Mark my words the moment the crown is mine Scomparsa shall be the greatest kingdom in all the land. Even if it takes decades to do so."
Grey nodded, "I'll be with you every step of the way."

"I will go...but with you to the medic...and I--" Theos didn't understand his sudden look for a moment. But he felt the faint warmth and he slowly understood.
"Stupid boy...never turn your back to an enemy." Theos tried to call out; to growl something. Instead a low whine like a deflated balloon escaped.
"I wasn't going to kill the prince but...he bit my shoulder and I thought it would be pleasant to see him die in front of you." Theos felt the ground leave his body again. It came back with a jolt and he tried to move. He willed his body and the warth of Kaa's blood reminded him of something. Of another time he couldn't move. Of feeling warmth and saliva. How he nearly became a meal to a giant spider.
"Now comes the next part, who dies next?"
"Now, I know who you'll choose but I need to hear you say it. I need to hear you put someone else's life over another. Time for you to play Goddess! Who dies and who lives?" Theos couldn't speak or move as his words while dull seemed to ring through. One life....one death for another.
"If you don't pick, I kill them both! I'm offering you an opportunity here Theos. We're going to show you just how easy it is to throw lives away." Theos landed with a thud. A wheeze escaping his broken ribs.
"You...sick....asshole." Theos chin rested on the ground. Two of his leg's folded under him while his back ones lay straight on either side. His eyes followed his movements. He had to act he had to.
"Fifteen...fourteen...thirteen...twelve...eleven..."
Theos gaze went to Blake for a moment. He loved Kemba....if there was a choice. Theos silently weeped. Was this it. Was this the extent that a fallen prince could do? That he could do? He was so weak. Why him? All the questions that plagued him came back. Why does this world hate him? The goddess? There is no such thing as a pain free life is there? Was happiness worth all this?
"Five....four..."
He couldn't let it end this way. He couldn't... MOVE!!! He cursed his own weak body. MOVE!!! His front legs found weak ground and his back legs remained limp. The effort alone sent his wheezing into high gear. He couldn't catch his breath. His vision dulled again. No...no...NO!
Theos had to do something. He had to. His head hanged low a moment then he raised it skywards with one deep breath. He howled a long and loud tone. Trying not to chock on the blood from his nose as it drained down. It seemed to echo in the vast desert finding the spaces between their bodies. It's sound somehow invigorating to hear to Theos. Though in truth it sounded distant to him. He finally stopped the blood drowning him and the air gone. He coughed violently which only lead to farther pain and eventually he collapsed his coughing fit turning to wheezing and breathlessness unable to cough any more.
His head was turned sideways he could no longer see Kemba. His snout pointing inadvertently more towards Blake. No.....his vision darkened. The lack of air to his brain finally claiming him.
_
Grey nodded, "I'll be with you every step of the way."
"You better. Need a knight to take down all those pieces i can't reach," Natalie said smiling.

The howl echoed through the battlefield, but the sounds of it all drowned it out. It did not draw much attention but it did reach one. An audible hiss with the turning of Cora's head hearing the cry of his beloved children.
Theos's head yet still dropped, facing Blake. The Dinohumon chuckled, "The boy has chosen." The black scaled foe removed his foot from Kemba's face, and reached down grabbing him.
"You should be happy feline, your dog has saved your life this day." Dinohumon punched Kemba in the stomach causing him to spit out blood. He curled over and the digimon tossed Kemba next to Theos. Kemba turned his head to look at him,
"Th...Theos..." Kemba tried to reach his paw out to hold his, gripping it and turning his attention back to their evil foe as he helped Blake sit up. Blake clenched his teeth and his hand came up to try and pull their enemy away, but he had lost to much blood. He was far too weak.
"This is the result of your friendship with Theos, this is what happens when you choose to live near him. Everyone dies. Everyone. Curse him now while you still draw breath." Blake glared at him then smiled.
"I...wo...wou..wouldn't...ever....change...a...thing." He said weakly, "Th...Theos...is..my....br..bro..."
The Dinohumon chuckled, "How noble, even to the end." The black scaled digimon took his swords edge and pressed it against Blake's throat and took his head. He moved his head slowly along the cold edge. His blood leaked out onto it's fine silver and ran over. Small spurts shooting from the slash as he made his way down the blade.
Kemba could hear Blake's gurgles and choking as his body was slowly growing limp. He covered his ears and shut his eyes tight, "No...no...no..no...no" He began to repeat shaking his head.
With the final bit of the silver crossing through Blake's flesh, his pained dilated eyes was a testament to the pain he was enduring as his throat filled and poured out of a hole that should not be. His mouth twitched and looked like it was trying to speak or breathe but he could not. His fingers twitched a moment before they stopped all together. Soon his gurgling and choking stopped and his blank lifeless eyes stared where his head lay. The look of agony was the last expression Blake had as his body broke apart into data. Within moments, all that was left of Blake, was the stain of his body in the sand and the memory in the ones he left behind.
Blake had been killed. He had become just another casualty in this bloody battle. Theos would have to live with the decision when he wakes, and the realization of what Stall was doing.
Kemba couldn't stop the tears as he tongued at his ears trying to get the sounds of it all out. He wanted to pluck out his eyes to unsee it all, but even closed he could see the horrors. He wanted it to all end, all of it was so cruel? Why is it so cruel? Fate deemed for Theos to choose a life? This was inevitable? How? What life is this they live?
The Dinohumon licked the blood from his blade with a laugh and he looked to a nearby soldier that had been watching it all. "Tell Stall it is done."
The soldier nodded and launched a fireball into the air. Stall looked up at it and smiled laughing nearly uncontrollably.
"Order the troops to retreat, our mission is done here." Stall said to a soldier with a large horn. The Allomon took a deep breath and blew into the horn and it sounded across the battlefield, the Scomparsians immediately recognized it and began to pull back over the dune.
Stall and his mount turned and began to flee as well walking towards the medic wings, "Pack up, we retreat back to Scomparsa to regroup." The nurses nodded and immediately began to take down the crude tents and store back the supplies.
The Dinohumon began to follow the troops back turning around only to see a massive set of jaws enclosing on him. Cora's heavy maw, snapped into the Dinohumon, the digimon screaming in agony. The great king lifted his enemy and with a giant roar tossed him into the sky. The Dinohumon crashed into the sand, his leg snapping behind him and his stomach nearly bitten in half. The King approached him with a hatred in his stare.
The Dinohumon coughed up blood and looked up at the King, then his smile returned and he started to chuckle. "You're...all...gonna...diiiiiiiiie...Hahhahahahahahahaaaaaaaah"
The Dinohumon said in a sarcastic, teasing tone just before Cora's foot slammed into the Dinohumon, utterly crushing him.
"Not before you worm." Cora looked back to Theos and Kemba, who had clawed at his ears, he had caused himself harm. His fighting spirit faded and he became extremely concerned, he looked to Kaa and his maw fell open.
"M..my children!" Cora faced the direction of the back and let out a roar so loud and strong, it froze both armies momentarily.
The Scomparsian army had fully retreated by the time Don showed up as a result of the war. He dropped to his knees at the sight shaking and tears in his eyes. He had no idea what had happened. He felt sick, his heart raced and his mind was blank. He couldn't find the words to speak.
The medic team soon arrived, "Save my children!" Cora exclaimed.
The Sistermons came running with Magi, "By the goddess..." he said. Don remained watching everything. It felt like it was in slow motion. How could this have happened? He had predicted Stall's every move but...this? Was the main army never his objective? Had he been played a fool again? He wanted to cry.
A Sistermon turned to Ban and sent him away, not allowing him near there. Ban could be heard screaming for Theos and Kaa, as loud as he could. Wailing and crying as the Sistermon dragged him away.
"Kemba...Kemba stop! Kemba you're going to claw your ears off! Stop!" Magi said as he tried to pull his paws away from his ears.
"Make it stoooooooop. Make it stooooooooop!" Kemba cried as his paws were forcefully pulled and restrained.
If Ike approached this madness, he'd see Don just watching it all. Frozen in time. _ Grey looked at Natalie, "He's retreating now? What has happened? I thought he was prepared to do something."
He stood as the tents had begun to clean up. "I suppose we better get going. I guess Stall realized we lost this one finally."

Ike heard the horn and paused a moment. Was it theirs or their enemies. It wasn't til word was carried back that they were retreating that Ike knew. He looked to Magi then grabbed his kit. Some were probably too injured to have been brought back. He hurried towards the front lines along with the rest of the sistermon.
"Save my children!" Ike approached with the respondents. One look told a heavy story. Ike nodded to the sistermon as they dispersed to treat the wounded. His gaze went to Don briefly seeing him on his knees in a stunned silence. He wished he could help but right now the best thing to do was to do what he was trained to.
Ike went over to Kaa to help stop the bleeding. He put pressure on the wound and worked with the sistermon to try and save the prince. _

He stood as the tents had begun to clean up. "I suppose we better get going. I guess Stall realized we lost this one finally."
"A man like him never retreats. Whatever he was after is done," Natalie said also standing. She didn't know his objective but she was damn sure going to find out.

The battle was won but at a great, great cost. The scars were on display and the pain would never fade. The medics took the injured back to rest after doing all they could in the field, the rest had to be done in the tents.
For now, a lull would befall both armies as they would need to lick their wounds. Scomparsa would be next to defend itself against an invasion. Would Coraggio succeed was the only question.
