Costt entered the grand throne room that seemed to go on for miles, he walked until he arrived at the foot of GranDracmon's throne in which he sat. "Yo boss man. It was messier then you would've liked I know but hey, I had a shit ton of fun." Costt laughed. He looked at his D.I.G. and brought up the inventory, summoning forth the small piece of the wand from Wardden. It was greyed out. Lifeless. "This was the thing you wanted yes? I don't know why you changed your mind mid fight about kidnapping that weakling Wardden but I managed to get this for you. It's not responsive anymore though. It seems to be useless as far as I can tell." Costt said inspecting the wand. "So, have you decided we don't need an ice hybrid or something?" Costt asked.

GranDracmon looked down at his first and primary Dark Hybrid, returning from his latest mission. After successfully freeing Dr. Petrov and delivering him to Snatchmon, Costt had proven his worth for what he had planned. However, GranDracmon was not fully pleased with the way this last mission went, despite the end goal being achieved. "I am perfectly aware of how things went, Costt. You seem to forget that I was the one who blocked out Anubismon to allow you to do your job. I am, however, quite displeased at the scene you decided to make, despite my best efforts to conceal your presence." GranDracmon glared at Costt through his mask, however he did not press the matter. He watched as Costt called forth the wand shard from his Dark D.I.G..
"This was the thing you wanted yes? I don't know why you changed your mind mid fight about kidnapping that weakling Wardden but I managed to get this for you. It's not responsive anymore though. It seems to be useless as far as I can tell.....So, have you decided we don't need an ice hybrid or something?" Costt said, fiddling with the inactive piece.
"Of course it's unresponsive, my naive friend," GranDracmon said, using his dark power to levitate the shard from Costt's hand and into his own. "That's because it's rightful owner is dead. The wand is powerless without Sorcerymon to command it. However, it is far from useless. It is merely dormant. The spirit of Ice that Wardden represented still lies within, waiting for a new host to judge and be bonded to. We have no use for Wardden because I have a far better host in mind to take his place as my Dark Hybrid of Ice." In a puff of dark smoke, the ice shard vanished to locations unknown, no doubt to be kept safe for later. "Which brings us to the reason you are still here. I need you to acquire this new host for me. Remember Andy's dear big sister? She is being held in a human security center on Earth. Go fetch." GranDracmon waved his hand, and a dark portal appeared before Costt. On the other side was the entrance to a high security facility. The portal would remain open until Costt stepped through. GranDracmon had nothing more to say to him.

Costt became worried when GranDracmon scolded him. Besides Scott, GranDracmon (not counting the countless other soul stealing; spirit world dwelling digimon) was the only one capable of ending his life. GranDracmon proceeded to tell him the next phase of the plan. Costt's new target was to be Amy Breese; Andy's over loving sister. At this point Costt wished Wardden was still part of the equation. "With all due respect your lordship, I don't think Amy will be so willing to join our cause. She's not exactly sane. In any case, I thought the spirit of ice was fully absorbed when Andy retrieved Wardden. How would it be dormant inside that small piece? I don't mean to pry but it just seems.....impossible." Costt hesitantly asked and spoke in a much softer tone as to not anger his master. He was standing by the portal in anticipation of either being scolded again, in which case he'd jump through or an explanation of GranDracmon's meaning.

GranDracmon chuckled at how little his creation seemed to know about anything. "By that logic, Costt, you wouldn't be here. Did Scott not fully absorb your original Meramon form before I snatched you from that world? Yet here you stand. Alive, in a body, and able to evolve. Did you not stop to think about that? True, the original spirits of Fire and Ice were taken, but I am able to manipulate souls and spirits just like Anubismon can. In your case, I had to get a bit more creative and dig deep for the second spirit of fire in the nether world. I took it, modified it, and bonded it with you. Like it or not, you and Scott are one. Your soul is a shadow of his, so it resonates with the spirit of fire. The process was easy. And in the case of the Spirit of Ice and Amy Breese, I have taken a little short cut. While the human Andy was able to absorb Wardden and his Spirit of Ice, it wasn't until after your intervention and acquisition of his wand piece. Inside that fragment lies a piece of the Spirit of Ice. Now it lies dormant, sleeping, waiting to be bound to a new host." GranDracmon had raised his hands as he spoke. His left hand had a tiny fire ball in it, his right hand had a small snowball in it, representing the spirits he had stolen. He was not planning on attacking Costt.
"As for the sanity of Amy, she is quite sane. Her only issue is her determination to get to Andy and do what she will with him. That can be a powerful motivator. You'll see in time. Now, if you don't mind, stop questioning me and do as your told. I'd hate to have to find a new host for the Spirit of Fire." GranDracmon stared down at Costt. Though his eyes were blocked by his mask, one could tell that he did not have a pleased expression on his face. His patience was running thin.

Costt listened to his masters explanation but it still made little sense to him. He thought perhaps asking would clear things up but that wasn't the case, he had only succeeded in making his master angry. Costt put one leg into the portal "It's all over my head anyway. I'll go get your girl. Time to light things up heh heh heh heh." Costt said stepping through on the other side to the prison in which Amy Breese was being kept.
