She did not go out much because of the danger she was in when alone. Her parents were not very well liked. It made her introverted and the only people she liked talking to were the staff of the house. Taking to the internet she learned many languages French and Spanish being the first. There she could have as many friends she wanted. It still left her lacking and desiring interaction all the more.
Her father is Mason Taika head to one of the largest energy corporations within the American Federation. He implemented solar panels on a large scale cutting cost but charges an arm and a leg for repairs. Her mother is Leanna Taika a defense attorney who has help more than one criminal escape the law.
She graduated from High School early and with straight A's. Unfortunately that provided her with a dilemma. What to do with her life? She sought a challenge; something rare. She quickly rebelled after that saying she wanted excitement and danger. She declared to her father that if he didn't find her a job that was unusual she would disappear and never return. He compared her to a storm during that time. All these years she had been the perfect little girl; the calm before the storm.
Her dad had contacts in various organizations and she finally decided she wished to join WADA. A new world to explore and master in some way. The idea appealed to her and so her father set her up to be sent to WADA.
