To further understand what style of play we offer here I'll give more detailed explanations of the classes here. Any questions ask the Admins. Human Play Style: The human type is a character who enters the world without a Digimon partner. However, it is possible for them to discover and gain a partner later on, but more on that later. These humans possess enhanced fighting skills of their own, both mental and physical and are capable of combating the digimon race to a degree. Their cells have been enhanced by Digimon DNA (DDNA for short). This gives them enhanced health and endurance, muscle mass and bone structure improvements, and faster healing capabilities. Most human types still choose to fight with weapons of some kind. Although they are stronger than normal humans, they are limited to the strength they can achieve, thus making battling digimon of superior fighting strength impossible. With proper training they can be as strong as weak Perfect levels. In time, a human may partner with a Digimon Type through a trial which is represented as a character plot for both players. It is possible to further enhance your abilities by undergoing a class change. If you end up partnering with a digimon, you can upgrade your D.I.G. to allow you to perform Xros Evolution. This requires at least a level of 40. With this upgrade you can partner with 4 types of Digimon. More information about Xrosing will be found here. You must have a base digimon partner which will be a digimon player type. The other 3 you can pick up at the required level and will be played by you. When you class change, it resets your level. You can return at any time to Human Play style and resume your level and stats but you will release any excess digimon you acquired. To Xros again you will need to upgrade and start over from scratch at level 40.

Digimon Types: You're a digimon. Plain and simple. Your powers and abilities change depending on what species you are, naturally. Digimon types have the ability to partner with Human types through a trial represented by a character plot for both characters. Evolution for these solo digimon is much harder to accomplish without a human partner. They can become more powerful faster once partnered. If you remain unpartnered, the evolution cap is at Perfect level and you cannot JOGRESS or Armor evolve. You can become partnered at any time, though, and upon doing so your evolution cap is lifted and you may armor and JOGRESS. Your type is also the base for Xrossing. If you decide with your partner to become a Xrossing duo you relinquish your ability to evolve naturally and your level resets to 40. At level 80 you will be able to warp evolve to your Ultimate level and at level 85 Xross with that form with another base digimon of the same rank. This is naturally more powerful then a JOGRESS digimon. At level 90 that Xrossed digimon can Xros again with the six other digimon of the two humans whom own the base digimon. If you and your partner decide to return to natural evolution your Xross stats will reset and if you decide to Xross again you must start over. Once you are partnered to a human, it is permanent until either person decides to start over. Then that person's character is killed off.

Partner Play Style: This play style involves one player being a human and digimon pair that were artificially paired through machinery and blood, rather than the heart. The digimon partnered to these humans are born, er.....made rather on the Tartarus through an on board digimon registry. These digimon are made to be completely obedient and loving towards their humans. While they aren't true digimon that are born naturally, they are far from robots or soulless puppets. They do have their own thoughts and emotions. Though partnered already, they lack the strength of a partnered Human type and Digimon type who have maxed out their relationship. It is unlikely a partner type can bypass the Ultimate stage. This is for those players who would rather control both human and digimon. The normal evolution cap is Ultimate stage but if you JOGRESS with either another partner type or Human/digimon combo you can go beyond. You may only have one partner at a time so Xrossing is impossible.

Hybrid Types: Hybrids are humans who use a D.I.G. with a built in D-Terminal upgrade to download digimon data and use said data to become that very creature. They can scan up to 20 Digimon to evolve into, but must do so in a very specific and detailed order. Upon reaching a certain level they can combine their scanned data to further enhance their fighting strength. At lower levels, Hybrids can only evolve into Spirits of their chosen Element, regardless of whether or not they have other potential spirits stored. Upon reaching the required level you can perform a Double Spirit Evolution and combine your spirits. Higher levels will allow you to borrow from other players, or own other elements to further your evolution progress. Supporting elements will grant you Hyper Spirit Evolution. All elements will grant you Ancient Spirit Evolution. For more information you can review the complete breakdown on how hybrids work here.

Anima Types: A digimon crossed with human. Within the Tartarus' science wing the employees were hard at work trying to artificially make digimon for the agents, except for one who had an experiment of his own. Dimitri Petrov, a Russian bio-engineer was in charge of working with the digitama. Using the unborn digimon still growing within; Dimitri experimented to have the digimon grow human body parts. Dimitri did this without the knowledge of the head scientist and his experiments in the end were a success. A digitama had hatched but instead of a Botamon, it was a human infant with digimon body parts. It was then that Dimitri called them the Anima. Although scolded for endangering the digimon with his secret experiments, in the end W.A.D.A. accepted them as a new life form that can bridge the difference between man and digimon. W.A.D.A.'s hope is to use them as a symbol that human and digimon should live in harmony as friends rather then a weapon.
Dimitri, however, was arrested for his illegal experiments and is serving his sentence to this day. After the arrest of Dimitri, and the subsequent decision by W.A.D.A. to continue his work anyway, control of the Anima program was given to Dr. Daisuke Ichi. He then hired a crew of nurses and caretakers to monitor the progress and growth of the Anima children while they grow and mature. The children are divided by age into "classes" of six, each class with one caretaker to watch over them. This caretaker, along with the nurses hired by the Tartarus, essentially serves as the mother figure to the class, while Dr. Ichi checks in on them to evaluate their physical and mental health. If Dr. Ichi deems an Anima worthy of living on its own, regardless of their age, he will notify W.A.D.A. authorities that the Anima in question is ready to be activated as an official Agent. Like any other Agent, it is then up to the Anima to decide which Guild they would like to join.
Anima types have the ability to wield weapons on top of using their digimon powers. However, they are only authorized to wield basic weapons in the Child Stage only. Upon Evolution, they will rely on their natural powers. If an Anima is defeated in battle or expends all its energy, it simply passes out or lays there beaten, whatever the situation may be. Anima may armor evolve, taking on the armored aspects of whatever species they are. Anima, due to their strong ties to being both human and digimon, they appear a slight level stronger then the form they currently reside. i.e. Child levels are as strong as weaker Adults etc. The Anima also grow faster than natural digimon, due to their human DNA, but not as fast as natural humans, therefore needing 1.2x the experience of the base. Anima have an elevated emotional state in where they can grow more attached to their allies which can result in darker outbursts when close allies are gravely injured or if they die; resulting in darker evolution which doubles their fighting prowess. Dark evolution blinds the Anima from knowing friend or foe and only revert back when they are either beaten or run out of power (Max. of 15 of your posts). Needless to say, Anima are superior to humans.
After a certain point in time, Snatchmon learned of Dr. Dimitri Petrov and how he was arrested for tampering with the digitama and human life. He learned that the doctor succeeded in creating a new cross-breed and that their potential was immeasurable. As such he planned to get the doctor for himself. He succeeded. Now the doctor wants nothing more then W.A.D.A. to pay for stealing his life's work. He creates Anima in a high tech lab created by Snatchmon for the very purpose of Anima creation. Dr. Petrov's Anima are raised differently then Dr. Ichis. They are raised from birth to hate W.A.D.A. and the tasks they do to try and benefit both worlds. These Anima are made to believe that W.A.D.A. is selfish in their tasks and make it seem like they want to help when in reality they want to watch the Digimon. Interfering in their lives when ever something they do is deemed by W.A.D.A. dangerous. They are raised with the sole mission of eliminating W.A.D.A. and liberating the Digital World from the grasp of humans.
Dr. Petrov's Anima are raised by caretakers as well, but these caretakers are Snatchmon's soldiers and are anything but loving parents. They train the Anima from the time they can grasp the concept of battle. Most often dying from the harsh battles. Dr. Petrov monitors their growth the same as Dr. Ichi. Insuring that they grow into fine Imperium guild members. Regardless of how old the Anima is, if Dr. Petrov feels that the Anima is ready to join the fight for Imperium he gives them to Snatchmon. Once activated, these Anima are expected to further the cause of Imperium and halt W.A.D.A.'s advances. They are free to do anything the other members can do. As far as questing or free roaming.
