Name: Takeshi
Gender: Male
Digimon Species: MetalEtemon
Level: 85
Age: 40
Blood Type: AB+
Digimon Inherent Ability: Analyst
Appearance:
Personality: Takeshi is sadistic at heart. He doesn’t care much for others, and if he needs them to do something that he knows will more than likely result in bodily harm or death, he chalks it up as their problem and makes them do it anyway. If someone does something that Takeshi approves off, he will reward them handsomely. However, if they manage to annoy him, even slightly, the penalty will be severely out of proportion.
Background: Takeshi was always a harsh leader in his city of Bai Hu. Once upon a time, Takeshi was the much loved protégé of the former ruler of Bai Hu, Masa the BishopChessmon White. As an Etemon, Takeshi lived under the care and guidance of Masa, and he helped and learned to rule in peace. He was charged with overseeing the production efficiency of the nearby mines and tasked with making sure everything ran smoothly and safely. However, as time went on, Takeshi came to realize that the production capacity of the mine and, in turn, the amount of money he made, would be increased dramatically if certain safety and health regulations were…overlooked. For months, this went on until a fatal accident occurred that caught the attention of Masa. He went to confront Takeshi about it, and found him speaking with some underlings about how to prevent Masa from learning of the incident in the first place. Witnessing this deception and betrayal, Masa called for Takeshi’s arrest. In a rage and feeling betrayed himself, Takeshi killed the guards sent to arrest him and it gave him the bit of power he needed to evolve into MetalEtemon. Angered at his mentor and mad with power, Takeshi yelled about how he never truly believed in him, and always tried to hold him back from being as powerful a leader as he should have been. Without giving Masa a chance to speak, he launched his most powerful Number 1 Punch, smashing through Masa’s armor and killing him. Takeshi fell to the floor and weeped for what he had just done, but his greed quickly hardened his heart and he became cold and callous to the world. His position in the city, and the fact that there were no witnesses to Masa’s murder, allowed him to take over the city.
As ruler, he was not well liked by his citizens, but he had enough power and underlings to keep the people in line. Not always through fear, but through hopelessness. He was so well off and rich from the mines in his territories that no one would be able to remove him from office through political means, and his Ultimate level status and raw power also ruled out conventional assassination attempts. As a result, the people of Bai Hu have no choice but to grudgingly live their lives and attempt to make the best of it. One of the newer dark dealings of Takeshi’s wasn’t exactly his idea, but he does end up benefitting from it, even though it does bother him.
One night, he was examining the online reports of the factory’s earnings and yield from the week, when he saw a report for a massive new find of raw Digizoid ore. The pocket would last for years and was worth billions if mined and refined properly. No sooner had he read the report than his computer flashed a blinding light and he lost his sight for a moment. When he could see again, he looked behind him and saw a shadowy figure in his room. The figure identified himself as Snatchmon of Imperium. Takeshi had heard of Snatchmon, of course, but part of him had believed him to be a myth. Snatchmon told him that his new find of ore would serve him, and Snatchmon would pay him for it. Takeshi did not like being ordered around with what to do with his property and money, and went to punch Snatchmon, but was knocked back to the floor before he knew what hit him as Snatchmon reacted with blinding speed. Seeing there was no way to win the fight, Takeshi reluctantly agreed. From that point on, he made an effort to get spies into Imperium to find out why Snatchmon needed the ore, but most did not come back alive. To this day, he does not know Snatchmon’s plan.
