These were mostly the in-game... well in... whatever you call the digital pets... sprites that I found on Wikimon. I attempted to colorize them, even though often enough the official artwork didn't actually line up with these sprites(I get the feeling there wasn't always communication between the artists). Interestingly this means that there are sometimes multiple versions of the digimon due to the variants between the digital pets. As such, I work on the 24x32 pixel size that seems... most common(though obviously not universal). That should be... well not ALL... but a goodly number of the Champion Level. A select few I might have custom drawn as well. If there's a favorite I've missed, somebody point it out. I might be able to fill in a sprite for them. And here is a chart of Armor Level. Some of which are kinda interesting. Flamdramon and Raidramon look like they merged into Sagitarimon. And Orcamon in the sprite looks more like it comes from a Digimental than the official artwork does(the innertube around it's waist is removed revealing the crest printed there. Neat.) That said... some of those I just don't think should be armor and feel like they were just thrown in for the heck of it. There are a few Digimentals I don't have, and obviously there are additional combos I don't cover here, but they should be on the Champion image. Again, somebody make a note if I missed something.

Thanks. I wasn't sure that I was doing the colors all that well, and I initially tried to make it with the NES color pallet. I think I gave up on that, drawing from other references, but I sorta wanted the color limitations to be fitting of the style. And here's some Ultimate levels. I'll need to do Mega next? I don't think I've done any of them. I was doing Rookies and Baby's, but those are mostly uncolored, intending to do the coloring to make unique versions of the Rookie level. Like a red and green striped Agumon who evolves to Tyranomon or a blue and red striped Agumon for Allomon. Oh, also did some efforts to capture the symbols for each of the spirits. I was doing this off of screenshots so... it's not very good. And speaking of symbols, I put in an effort to organize the tags/crests symbols. At this resolution the symbols are surprisingly hard to make look right. But at least File Island has the digimental sprites I could colorize. For those that actually have color. *glares at the Digimental of Light*

I'm not sure they'd work all that well in the RPG maker, but if somebody wants to give it a go, I'm all for it. Honestly, I want to see if there are more frames of animation for these. This was for the digital pet after all, they should have at least a few frames of animation. Or failing that, I'm trying to create a run cycle for Angemon using sprites from Megaman. Yes I know he floats everywhere, but other humanoids would need a run cycle. Now that's missing AT LEAST five four digimon which I found the sprites for on Wikimon, but have not colored(some are in there as place holders, some need to be resized). And obviously there are going to be more custom works. But hey, Mega level. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~EDIT: Custom sprite Lotusmon now added(along with coloring a few that I missed before). Algomon, Eldoradomon, and Gokumon to be resized(they're at 24x24, the DigiWindow scale, as opposed to Pendulum, Twin, and pretty much all the Digivice replicas. NOT the first Digital Monster pet though, that's at 16x16 scale) and Ulforce V-Dramon X-Antibody still needs to be colored(The sprite is, as near as I can tell, identical, but X-Antibody seem to be drawn in a dramatically different style, with far more details to fit in, which is a HUGE PAIN). And here's the Rookie level. In black and white because I was custom coloring them to represent player characters(so Black Agumon looks the same as Agumon even if the sprites ARE different). But I tossed in a 16x16 sprite for use in that scale of game and/or map(it's the standard for the early Pokemon and even the Gameboy Legend of Zelda). And yes, at the bottom there are... "fanmon" from other fandoms: YuGiOh and Pokémon. Very few Pokémon fit as a Digimon, as they need at a minimal four evolution stages, and Pokemon caps out at the third(many not even having that). But with the "Mode Shift" of MegaEvolution...

For reference, the custom sprites that aren't just colored, if you don't want to go through Wikimon and File Island sites are as follows:
((Baby and Rookies have not been colored so I'm ignoring them for the moment))
Champion: Buraimon, CoreDramonGreen(note to self include Blue), GeoGreymon(a slight redrawing of Greymon, the attempt to resize the official sprite looked wrong)(note to self: Add Greymon X), Gladimon, (note to self: Add Gizmon AT custom), Sistermon Noir, Sistermon Noir Awakened Mode, and Snatchmon.
Ultimate: Astamon, Baalmon, Butenmon, Dark Superstarmon(edited from Starmon), Gizmon XT, Mermaimon(wish I could have kept her hat), Mervamon(Slightly tweaked her Xtros Loader sprite, reducing it's colors and scale to suit. What's she doing here twice?), Rize Greymon(like GeoGreymon, the resizing didn't work quite as well), SuperStarmon(same as the dark version), Wingdramon, and Wisemon.
Mega: Bancho Lilimon, Beel Starrmon, Black Seraphimon(only very minor changes in addition to the recolor of the official Seraphimon), Chronomon Holy Mode, ClavisAngemon(I have an alternate pose with his key in the other hand that looks better, but breaks the 32x24 rule), (Hrm... should I include the Demon robed form? Nah...), Dianamon, Dominimon, Duftmon, Examon, Gankoomon, Lotusmon, Mastemon, Mervamon(see Ultimate level ramble), Neo Vamdemon(slightly tweaked Xtros Loader sprite), Ofanimon: Falldown Mode(I have a few alternate poses with her scythe but like ClavisAngemon's Keyblade it just didn't work squeezed into 32x24), (Small note: Rosemon X uses the original Rosemon sprite with only recoloring, Rosemon and Rosemon Burst Mode use a resized Digiwindow sprite, so you can compare I guess?), Slayerdramon(I always feel I made his head too big. Also like Clavisangemon and Ofanimon: Falldown Mode I did a version with his sword and it didn't fit), and finally Victory Greymon(... I have a version WITHOUT his sword, this at least fit even though it covers probably too much of him).
I initially thought I hadn't done too much work with this. I've only been working off and on for about a year or so, when I was shown that somebody had ripped the sprites. I didn't even know it was possible, but FileIsland seems to have done it. These are the smaller sprites from the digital pets, not the larger more time consuming ones from the video games(I watch SpritersResource.com), and all I was doing was filling in color on the official works. That's easy, right?
Still... I guess that's a sizable number of customs I did trying to mimic the style and make them blend in. And I did even more with the Rookie level, just never colored them. Huh. I guess you never know how much work you've put into something until you try to show it off.

Well I can't tell the differences between the official ones and the fanmade ones. So you are really good at them and should be payed to make sprites. XD

I kinda wish I could find someone who would pay me to do sprites, but the 8bit era is quite over and even emojis are at a higher resolution and color bittage. And while I'm pretty good at doing higher levels of pixel art, it takes me longer to do it all, and to be honest sprites are a bit of a lost art these days.
In the meantime, this is for fun.
