Ztyka could hardly keep up with Tifa. The little white dragon blended into the snow really well. If it wasn't for her red scarf she'd be pretty much invisible. She couldn't blame her for being excited as it was her first time seeing snow. However she was way to hyper.
Tifa loved the feeling of the cold ground against her. It was amazing out it could melt when it touched her. And she could see her paw prints in it. Perfectly! She didn't leave paw prints anywhere else. So it was rather fun to be able to look back and see how big hers were compared to her partners. In fact she seemed to like stepping in Tifa's prints for some reason. Both together looked really funny.
"Hold up Tifa" Ztyka called out. "Her house should be nearby according to the coordinates."
"Really? I can't wait to meet her. She must be a really good person since her grandson loves her so much," Tifa said pausing with her tail wagging.
It was hard to tell one house from another though. The all looked kind of the same except with different decorations here and there. The igloo's looked homey though and much larger than she would have originally thought. She stood there looking around for something to show her which house to knock on. She'd hate to go p to the wrong house.

As Zytka and Tifa would look around, they would discover an Elecmon in front of a home with a garden, though it only had a single flower. This Elecmon was much older as it's fur was completely grey and they could notice her face was sagging a bit. A typical elderly-like appearance. Her ears were resting on the top of her head and she was humming an unfamiliar tune. Unlike digimon of the same species, she had only five tails. She was tending to the flower, enjoying the morning.

Ztyka raised her glove as she spotted the digimon. It gave a brief scan and told her it was an elecmon. The icture it showed was a bit different from the digimon she saw but it had to be the grandmother. She started to approach the elecmon with Tifa at her heels.
"Hello, Ms. Elecmon," Ztyka said stopping just short of being in her yard. She didn't want to intrude without announcing her presence. "Your grandson in Bai Hu sent us to visit with you."
"Hello grandma," Tifa said her tail wagging and earning a sigh from Ztyka. That wasn't her name.

The Elecmon turned to see her new guests, she heard them introduce themselves and she gave a very warm smile in response. "Oh my...how very thoughtful of Teddy. This is quite a surprise, I was not expecting such a gift. Please, come inside...it is quite cold out here, oh and my name is Mary, but you could call me grandma to if you like. Ho ho ho." She finished up with the flower and made her way to the entrance.
"I'll put on some tea." She said walking inside and leaving the door open. Inside her igloo home, it was deceptively warm. It hadn't a shred of electronics anywhere and the furniture was few. In fact, there was just a single chair. It looked quite comfortable, being next to a fireplace. A very small flame was burning in it. Impossible to melt the home, but enough to warm anyone sitting in that chair.
Mary went over to the flame and removed a block of ice from the wall, revealing a compartment with tea cups and a kettle. She took the kettle and placed it on her head before walking over to another part of her home that was protruding inward. It had a unique faucet and could only be a kitchen of some sort. She began to prepare her kettle. "I call it tea, but it's really coco. You can sit in the recliner dear." She said.
"You know, I always wanted to meet a W.A.D.A. agent. I've heard stories from Teddy's letters. I'm so glad you could take the time to visit this village in the middle of no where." She said hard at work.

Ztyka smiled as they were invited in. She did seem like the grandmotherly type. They walked into the deceptively warm igloo. It was a very simple place and Ztyka couldn't help but to feel it was a bit lonely. Mary must spend most her time outside the home or sitting in that chair recounting stories of her youth to herself. It was oddly humbling.
"Cocoa," Tifa had an unexplainable urge to drink it. Something just told her it was sweet.
"Well, it seemed to be a rather nice request. I'm Ztyka and this is Tifa by the way," Ztyka said motioning to herself and then her partner.
"Yep and a fun one too. After all only a really nice person could raise a really nice grandson," Tifa said her tail wagging. ZTyka wouldn't help but to feel that was dangerous in small spaces.
Ztyka sat down on the ground not far from the chair and patted the ground beside her motioning for Tifa to sit. At least getting that tail out of the way. She smiled though it was going to be a good visit either way.
"You have a lovely home," Ztyka said. As simple as it was sometimes one had to enjoy the simple things of life.

Mary chuckled to herself as the kettle began to whistle indicating it's contents were ready, she took the kettle and plugged it so it wouldn't spill while she carried it. She was a quadruped after all so, she'd need to balance it on her head. Mary placed it on her head and walked off towards Zytka and Tifa. "This old thing? It's seen better days." Mary said referring to her home. "Forgive my morbidness but at times it feels like my coffin." When she arrived she took the kettle off her head and onto a tray she kept on the arm of her recliner. She then poured the partners a cup of coco, then she reached into the pouch on the back of her chair and pulled out a bag of marshmallows and handed them to Tifa. "These will taste quite good with your coco dear." Mary then climbed into her chair and relaxed with her own cup.
"So tell me Zytka, what is it W.A.D.A. agents do, when they're not babysitting doddering old folk like myself. Ho ho ho ho." Mary asked, carefully sipping her coco as to avoid burning her mouth. "I hear that you live in some giant metal thing that floats in the passageway between our worlds. It sounds like a fairy tale." She said.

Ztyka could understand her morbidness. Being alone in her home as it was wasn't the most desirable thing she was sure. Especially if she had a large family.
Ztyka accepted her cocoa and the marshmellows with a smile. She put some in hers and then into the questioning looking Tifa's. Tifa let out a grin her eyes lighting up. She sat cross legged with her cup in front of her to let it cool. Tifa was more into drinking it however. she lapped at it once then sat with her tongue out. It was hot.
"Well Mary the base is very big and made of metal. Probably cause brick or wood wouldn't hold up. I'm not really sure it floats as you can't access the outside of the base. We have to rely on transportation," Ztyka said. Honestly she didn't know a whole lot yet. However she could say whatever she thought it was like. She couldn't be to far off from what she had read. "We helps others young or old. Even the smallest problem sometimes comes to us. It is okay though. Many of us enjoy helping others. We are all a little different and there is some who just like taking the risky missions."
"We definitely like helping others," Tifa said smiling her tongue finally back in her mouth. "It's a good thing."
Ztyka reached over and petted her partners head. She couldn't help but to think of her as innocent. She also seemed childish but in a good way.

Mary smiled as she took another drink, "Perhaps I'll have Teddy take me there when he visits me next. It sounds wonderful. You digidestined have gotten a lot more organized over the years. I remember stories from my grandparents about the adventures of the chosen children. They were bedtime tales and made me want to be the partner of a human being. Though during my youth, the two worlds were separated by an invisible barrier so I never got to meet a human being until well into my later years." Mary recalled her dreams. "I wanted to know that feeling of love between our two species. I dreamt about evolving and going on adventures. Ho ho ho ho. Thinking back on it now, that way of thinking got me into so much trouble." She put her coco down and raised a fist and made a stern face. "My name is Mary and I'm a chosen Digimon! I'm going to be the number one partner! I would say, then get into countless fights. Ho ho ho ho." Mary picked up her cup and took another drink.
"Alas, I got to old and brittle and had to settle down. I met my late husband George and we started a family right here in this igloo. My only regret is I could not add a human partner to my family." She didn't seem sad. She was enjoying the company and conversation. "So how long have you two been partners? Where did you meet? I'm sure it was quite something." She asked.

Ztyka smiled as the elecmon spoke. She could imagine. She had her own wild dreams as a child. Nothing as fantasiful as that however.
"Actually not very long at all," Ztyka said and picked up her cup. "We met only a day ago. In the headquarters." She wondered however how much she should say. It was a rather dramatic first experience to be sure and the fact they were grown in tubes. "We sort of took to one another immediately. She childish and I'm mature so it sort of feels like I am her mother." Ztyka patted her head again before taking a sip.
"You shouldn't regret not adding a human to your family though. You achieved so much and humans are not as great as some probably make them out to be," Ztyka said.
"Humans are great," Tifa said. Ztyka looked at her with a raised brow. "They make music and dance. They are smart like the doctor. They can be strong and tall or short. There are so many types."
"True," Ztyka gave in with a smile.

Mary nodded, "I can tell when something is a sensitive subject. Your meeting seems like it was more eventful then you're letting on. Ho ho ho ho." Mary didn't try prying and instead changed the subject, "Another cup dears?" She would lift the kettle to pour them more drink if they wanted. "Tifa dear, your father must be very proud. Are you going to follow in his footsteps and ascend to knighthood?" Mary asked. "I saw Jesmon once when he was still a pup under the guidance of Gankoomon. He was quite spunky...and very cute. If I had been his age I might not have met George. Ho ho ho ho." Mary leaned back in her reclined.
"You look just like Jesmon did then, though in terms of personality, you couldn't be anymore different. How is he? I have not heard tale of him or his comrades in years. Though news rarely if ever makes it way so far north. Ho ho ho ho." It seemed Mary was very unaware of the world. And unaware of the engineered digimon.

"I never met him," Tifa said her tail continuing to wag.
"He is long dead I am sorry to say," Ztyka said taking over. "She is his only living relative. Which is why W.A.D.A. was protecting her and keeping her close. Til she could be partnered with someone."
"It's okay though he's made of data. And Data just gets turned into something else. Maybe he's a grand big tree somewhere," Tifa said excitedly. If she only knew Ztyka thought to herself. "I'll do my best to protect everyone you can count on it."
"We both will. It's the reason we are both in this line anyway. I want to protect my home and her hers. If just feels right that we could do it together." she said smiling.
Tifa nodded eagerly. She pushed her cup forward for more. She was loving every drop. It was sweet just like she had thought and the marshmallows just melted. It was so cool how something solid could melt in heat.

Mary seemed to frown slightly at the sound of Jesmon being dead. "I see, it seems I'm very good at out living the youth of the world. Sigh." She just as quickly perked up. "Well, I'll be sure to tell him about you when it's my time. Ho ho ho ho. He'd be proud of you I'm sure. You two fill this old gal with her dreams again. If I were only younger, I'd apply to be a partner." The kettle had run out of coco and she opened up the lid to peak.
"Oh my. All done it seems, I'll put on another pot. Would either of you like something to eat?" She asked walking back into the kitchen. "So, how about some lady talk. I was quite the catch in my day, and two pretty young ladies like yourselves are sure to have those W.A.D.A. men chasing after you. What's after W.A.D.A.? Have anyone in mind to settle with?" She asked moving her claw around, looking for something it seemed.

"Yes please," Tifa said. She was always hungry.
"There are several handsome men in W.A.D.A. I have to admit," Ztyka said smiling. "I do set my standards a little high though. They have to like music, and be pretty smart." Truth was she was thinking of her first love as she said that. The one whom she was in the underground with. He was dead now though and she had started over. So she had to stay positive.
"I like everyone. There's a goburimon always at the bar he's nice. Then the strange nurses named after emotions. There's also a Goddramon he's super big and really cool looking," Tifa said and began talking about a bunch of people she has seen.
When did she do all of this? Ztyka thought as she listened. She would need to put a leash on her if she did this much wandering without her knowledge.

Mary had found what she'd been looking for. A metal pan, she pulled it out from under the protruding ice and then moved towards a block of ice and removed it, and took out meat on a bone. She placed it on the metal pan, "I see. You two will do well in the world. I can tell. The food should be ready very soon." She began to mess with the kettle and placed it next to the metal pan. She spread her five tails and sent out a very miled current through the metal pan which cooked the meat well done and heated the kettle to a whistle.
She began looking for her knife to cut the food but could not find one. "Dang nabit! I don't know where I put that knife!" She sighed. She looked at her paw and her nails were much to fragile to try cutting it and frowned. "Growing old is so troublesome." She said. "You girls should stay young as much as you can. Maybe Tifa could even marry my Teddy, ho ho ho ho." She chuckled.
"I hope you don't mind sharing it off the bone." Mary placed the kettle on the pan next to the meat and placed it on her head, walking over to the group again. Stopping just in front of her guests so they could help themselves.

"Maybe," Tifa said. Ztyka couldn't help but to wonder if she knew what that meant. "I can do it," Tifa said. Her claws were a little broader but pretty sharp. Tifa took to slicing at the meat for her trainer.
"Well we do try to stay young. Goodness knows she keeps me young at heart," Ztyka said. "Thank you for your hospitality truly. I wasn't sure what to expect."
"Only expect good things and good things will happen," Tifa said through a partially full mouth.
Ztyka sighed and smiled she grabbed a few small pieces and left the rest alone. She wasn't particularly hungry but who knew how long they'd be here. Some part of her wanted this to last.
"Did you have a big family," Ztyka asked before taking a bite.
