Evolution Line
Digiegg / Digitama
Appearance:
Description: The actual design of the egg is rarely seen because parents surround the egg with their conductive silver Digizoid feathers. This is done to attract a natural lightning bolt, since most feathers are placed to create a tip for the egg. This can cause each egg to be as unique as its parents, from a spotted blue to a deep black. Eggs can be found anywhere in high places so when lightning strikes it, it can finally hatch.
Fresh / Baby I
Name:
Éanmon
Appearance:
Attacks:
Double Tap - The Digimon pierces its target with both its claw tips.
Description: After hatching, this little guy usually stays high in the trees or mountains for safety. The one small claw on its wings is used for gripping and climbing the side of whatever it is hiding in. If it happens to fall, it's wings to body ratio is big enough that it can glide to the safety of the ground before climbing back up, away from would be predators.
It's feathers are usually brown, white, or green in an attempt to have some kind of camouflage at a young age. The middle piece of its feathers is the only place that is made of silver as well as the tip of its small claw to break through harder substances.
It is herbivorous by nature, usually chewing on berries or leaves in order to get nutrients.
In-Training / Baby II
Name:
Cleitemon
Appearance:
Attacks:
Tiny Bite - The Digimon bites at it's target with small but sharp teeth.
Claw Clash - The Digimon scratches at it's target with its claws.
Description: By this age and stage of its digivolution, its wings have grown two more claws stubs, making it easier to climb anything it can find. Its feathered tail provides some kind of grip on trees or cliff, wrapping around the nearest rock or branch to keep it from falling. It has grown more teeth although still spends most of its time in high places, being herbivorous in such a young age. Although it's body is now no longer small enough to glide, the extra limbs help it where they cannot.
At this stage, patterns start to arise on its feathers which will be carried on throughout its life. It's colors, however, stay the same so it could still camouflage. The Silver has hardened slightly, yet isn't fully developed into full Silver Digizoid.
Rookie / Child
Name:
Creichemon
Appearance:
(Above is an example. Horns and spikes, patterns, and body anatomy differs to each individual. Lightning may also be a different color to the individual)
Attacks:
Electro-Knife - The Digimon throws out electricified feathers much like darts that pierce and shock its target.
Electric Horns - The Digimon charges a ball of electricity between its horns and either fires it at its target or rams its horns into them, shocking them with a possibility of paralysis.
Jolt Crunch - The Digimon charges electricity in its teeth before biting into its Target.
Description: The Digimon is now a full grown child, showing off colors and patterns on its feathers that will carry on throughout its adult life. It is built much like a raptor, with teeth and claws that had been fully hardened into silver Digizoid. Many are based on different types of raptors, emphasizing the uniqueness in the species itself. At this stage, its feathers have, for the most part, become so small compared to its body that it has become fully grounded. They have not, however, become completely useless. The middle have now hardened into full silver Digizoid like its teeth and can be thrown much like electrolyzed darts at the opponent.
At the Child stage, each individual is unique, from the color and pattern of the feathers to the spikes and horns that adorn its body. This will continue on throughout its other evolutions.
It usually switches from eating greens to becoming a carnivore, preferring red meat over any. Although, if it is unable to hunt by itself, it will settle on berries and leaves to survive.
Any solitary Digimon at this age have the instinct to find others of its kind, most likely wandering from its home in an attempt to find a pack of them. The question of whether they are able to depends on the individual Digimon as well as the area where it grew up.
Champion / Adult
Name:
Wyvermon
Appearance:
Attacks:
Wyvern' Breath - The Digimon spews forth an electrified air current towards the Target.
Shocking Current - The Digimon electrifies its spine and body releasing a large wave of energy that makes its targets wreath as their muscles spasm.
Air Collapse - The Digimon dive bombs targets from the sky, landing on them with their sharp talons.
Flying Daggers - The Digimon shoots multiple electrified feathers from its wings.
Conductor - If the foe is pierced by a metallic feather, the Digimon can shoot a constant wave of electricity to it so long as they remain close.
Description: Going from a completely grounded raptor to a more airborne wyvern, this stage is where their feathers have grown to compensate for its larger, heavier body. It's arms are longer then before to compensate for the larger wings attached to them, allowing them to crawl on all fours as well as stand up if needed. Although the larger wings makes it more airborne, at this stage, they can only glide and keep themselves in the air for medium distances as long as it is down hill from its original place. Or if there happens to be a stream of wind to help keep it aloft. They cannot take off from standing position unless they are jumping from a high perch.
It's feathers have started to harden to Digizoid, starting at the base. Although many think that this makes it lose their color they are known for, it simply hardens the texture under the pigment. It's back and head have started to develop Silver Digizoid plating, protecting their spine and skull from attacks.
Many solitaries who haven't found a pack yet would start to, instead, focus on finding a mate at this age, driven by the urge to carry on its heritage. Again, only time and place would tell if they do.
A small handful of these Solitaries have been seen to become 'sexually-crazed', taking advantage of any other Digimon, especially if they happen to find another of its species. It appears to stem from the urge of companionship and a mate and some can become possessive of their victims.
Females have become able to lay eggs around this point but many wait until they are able to completely fly before they decide to have any.
Ultimate / Perfect
Name:
Airgidmon
Appearance:
Attacks:
Pierce - The Digimon pierces its Target with its sharp tail spine.
Aerial Strike - The Digimon dive bombs the Target from the sky, clawing them with its metal claws.
Thunder Cloud - The Digimon uses its metallic body to conduct energy from storm clouds, providing a conductor to its Target.
Static Spit - The Digimon spews forth an electrical energy ball that bursts on impact.
Lightning Cage - The Digimon surrounds the target with large Silver Feathers, conducting electricity between them to create a cage-like trap.
Description: With the development of a second pair of wings along its back, Digimon at this stage have finally developed the complete ability to fly. This is also where many adults choose to stop their Digivolution, with the complete ability to fly. When encountering a pack of these Digimon, many of the fully grown are seen in this stage to get around easier. For the most part, they have malted the soft feathers of their body and have instead grown Silver Digizoid scales for better protection. These scales colors are based in silver although the previous pattern of their feathers did carry over. So, if a Child was black with blue spots, the spotting would carry-over. However, the base color of the black would fade to the silver plating. Their wings (as well as their tail and possibly their back legs) keep their feathers, however, and these feathers have completely hardened into Silver Digizoid, making them highly conductive and sharp. These feathers keep their complete color, the most distinctive part of these Digimon. When flying, they must use both wings so their front limbs have still not been freed while in the air.
The plating along its spine (including its tail) is thicker then it's normal scales. Many times, these digimon have grown a sharp spike of silver on the tail tip, used to gouge enemies. It also appears to have a headcrest for protecting itself made of the same Silver Digizoid. Many of these digimon' thick plating is unique to the individual, in design as well as its look.
Many solitary mated pairs settle down at this point. This is the age-group where females lay the most eggs since this is when they can easily get to high places, which is where they stash the eggs for a lightning strike. Solitaries usually leave their eggs to hatch and allow their offspring to survive on its own.
Mega / Ultimate
Name:
Sciathámon
Appearance:
Attacks:
Dragon Volt - Lightning is launched from its tail, mouth or wing tips, electrifying anything around it.
Storm Bringer - The Digimon folds in its wings, seemingly to bring storm clouds in around it.
Crack - The Digimon releases a strong bolt of lightning able to set forests aflame or break the largest trees in half.
Electo-Claw - The Digimon claws foe with its electrified talons.
Static Defense - Its body is protected by a thin layer of static electricity ensuring any physical attacks get a nice voltage.
Description: Not many wild Digimon can be seen in this stage, as many of them who choose to live in this stage have become solitary. At this stage, the Digimon have moved both their wings to its back, freeing up its front limbs while in the air. It has the look more like a double-winged dragon then a raptor or wyvern. It's silver Digizoid plating has taken on the look of more armor, protecting its shoulders, spine, head, and back legs. Many Digimon who see these flying through the air believe it to be a warning of an oncoming storm or even a sign of change. This is most likely because, when it flies, it attracts a large amount of electricity, enough to cause a shift in the barometer and carry a lightning storm behind its wings.
Females have become sterile at this age, at least seen from the mated pair living in the only known pack of Surge Ridge. The Queen has not been seen to lay any eggs since the start of observation.

Description:
Packlife
Known Location: Surge Ridge Mountain Range, Unknown if found anywhere else
Hierarchy: The only known pack of this species can be found high in the mountain range of Palus. They are run by two Mega levels that are the oldest and most powerful mated pair of the pack, watching over the others and making sure nothing ill befalls the secluded species. Most of the pack believe that the mated pair is what brings the lightning storms to their cove because of them attracting the electricity in the air. However, none of them know for sure if this is true since the two have not left their home in, supposably, thousands of years. They are the ones people go to for seeking advice and they even have a weekly class where they talk about myths and legends of old each week.
There is no council underneath the two Megas. From the Megas stance of alphas, the ladder of hierarchy falls towards the Ultimates. These are the fully grown adults that have settled down with a mate. These are the ones that go out and do the real hunting, bringing home fresh kills for the pack each and every day. For the most part, the mated pairs hunt together, making it much easier instead of just with one. Any sterile or non-mated Ultimates are seen defending their main cove from dangerous opponents. Some of them also become teachers. Although they must be appointed by the Alphas to pass knowledge down to children.
Adults in the Champion stage are the most abundant in the pack. They are the ones with a variety of jobs, from scouting out the territory for any intruders beyond the cove, to watching over the babies and children when their parents are away. Many times, when children are being taught to hunt, other Digimon may see the tell tale sign of an Adult gliding over them, making sure they don't get hurt or lost. They are also seen to be teachers assistants when dealing with a rather rowdy group of children.
Children are the ones that do the 'chore' jobs. Whenever they aren't going to school with the other Rookies or learning to hunt for later life, they can be seen cleaning their households/caves as well as watching the babies whenever there is no else. However, they mostly focus on learning the essentials needed to become strong and to be able to survive.
The babies are just that. Babies. They don't have a job of any sort and must be watched at all times.
Temperament: These Digimon appear to be territorial and, if you get to close to their main cove, can become extremely aggressive and you shouldn't be surprised if you have a wave of them converging on you if you happen to become to close to their pack. They are highly dangerous Digimon when provoked a wrong way. They are also scavengers as well as hunters. If one happens to be on patrol and spots an easy meal, it will quickly go after it for itself. Although the Ultimates hunt enough to sustain the pack, they will not pass up a free meal if needed. They will not, however, wander out of their territory's range. So as long as you keep your distance, you shouldn't have a problem.
Courtship: These Digimon usually have a strong urge to mate for life. Although it is preferred that they stay male to female relations, the Alphas will not protest towards homoromantic/homosexual mates. As long as they understand they can not have a child of their own, they have every right to whatever mate they wish. It is frowned upon to have multiple mates, however. If a Digimon is seen cheating on their mate with another, it is brought to the Alphas' attentions. The Digimon is then brought to them and asked if they did it for the pleasure or that they truly love the other. If it is the latter, the Digimon is allowed to continue their life with their newly chosen mate. If not, they are reprimanded and reminded on the tradition of their species, but overall let go. However, if it is a repeated offense in either category, the Digimon is banished from the pack and forced to live as a solitary. Different species relation is in the same category. Although they would prefer they stay within their own secluded species, if the Digimon truly love each other, it is allowed. They are also given the choice to stay or go, depending on if the mate would be willing to stay with the pack or leave with the Digimon.
Solitaries: Any solitaries that were with the pack before hand and had become solitary by banishment is not allowed in any of their territory. If it has been a long time since they were banished and they wish to come back, they must meet with the Alpha while with an escort. There, the alpha would judge if they learned from their mistakes or not. Their fate with the pack is based around this decision.
Under no circumstances are children allowed to be banished. When they've lived with a pack for so long, it's likely they would not survive on their own.
Any Solitaries who were born solitary are welcomed with open claws, provided they, once again, speak with the alphas first. They must make sure they provide no threat to their society and are then allowed in if they wish to stay.
Male/Female Differences
Color: The most prominent difference between male and females are shown from their child stage and above. Because of the diversity of the species, it would be obvious that males and females would have distinct differences beside the obvious.
Males' colors are much more prominent in the darker shades. Although it can be common for them to have light colored patterns, the base color is almost always on the darker side. Yet, even then, there have been sights of other males having a lighter base. Because of how much color plays a role in picking a mate, many light colored males can be seen with other males instead of females. Although this does not make it necessary for a homoromantic male to be lightly colored or to fall for one lightly colored. It is simple more common.
Females' colors fall onto the other side of the spectrum. They have a lighter base with darker patterns. Just like how homoromantic males are most commonly lighter colors, homoromantic females are usually seen with darker colors. Just like above, it is not necessary. It is simply what has been observed within the packs hierarchy.
Either way, lightly colored males and darker colored females are on the uncommon side but still seen around.
Feathers: This is rather simple but also not completely true. From observation, it appears males are seen with larger feathers adorning their body. Many times, males can unfurl their head feathers, giving them a headdress of some sort to attract females. There have been some notes of females having large feathers as well but it is seen mostly on males for the reasoning of courtship.
Size: For the most part, males are larger then females although, many times, their sizes can vary by quite a bit. Some females are bigger then males although it is seen, in heteroromantic mated pairs, that the male is usually larger then the female. It must be preference.
