Alicantomon the golden bird digimon. Despite its name it is not made of gol but rather very light luminescent feathers that reflect the suns rays as a beautiful yellow/orange tinge. They flock together in groups of 10-20 individuals. They are not much larger than a sparrow and their swift movements keep them out of reach of danger. They have a great love for flying and singing.
They are a rather common species found mainly in mountains and forests across the digital world. At night they reflect the moonlight and can lead travelers to safe havens making them a well blessed digimon for their kind spirited guidance.
Adult
Suzakumon is a powerful flyer who's wings can cut through small trees with a single swipe of its razor sharp feathers. Its plumage is for mating purposes the males sporting a large curled tuft on the top of their head. While the females are a slightly duller coloration and lacking the tuft.
Suzakumon roam in flocks of 5 - 10 usually with two to three males per flock and the rest being females. The males consider it their duty to protect the females and hatchlings and will defend both with their lives. The tuft on top of a males head can regrow so they are often eaten as a snack or in times when food is scarce. They are omnivores and the lack of food is rare.
Perfect
Ramon and Muninmon. There are many factors to this digimons evolution line that are dependent on time and weather. Ramon carries a red orb in its talons representing the sun and all that it sees during the day. While Muninmon carries an orb representing the moon and all that it casts light upon. The species evolves depending on the time of day or night. It is believed those that evolve at the zenith of either are much stronger than those who do not.
Both birds are known as guardians and live together in pairs looking after large flocks of birds. Muninmon is purely nocturnal and takes the night shift its orb able to illuminate the darkness before its keen eyes. While Ramon takes the day shift. Its bright red plumage making it disappear in the light of the sun and casting shadows on those who would cause harm to the flock.
It is believed that if a strong bond is made between a Ramon and Muninmon then when one dies so will the other. Both bursting into flames and razing the ground around them to take their foe with them.
Ultimate
Horusmon and Shangmon warriors of the sky. One is said to bring sunlight and the other the rains. Together they live in harmony creating the brush strewn across the land. Or so legends say. While they are not wrong while Horusmon can breath fire and Shangmon water they rarely get along. They often cause the morning mist and dew. Upon evolving they become more territorial leading to a large dispute that usually ends in a stalemate. During this time Horusmon will go to the deserts or Shangmon to the forests where their element is plentiful.
Many fear the wrath of either digimon however. Their talons not only good for burrowing into trees or sand but also to rend flesh and break bones. Many do not believe they can fly due to the metallic armor they wear however it has increased their endurance greatly and they could spend days in the sky at a time without landing. They normally do not gather with other large flocks preferring to be in a flock of no more than 5 at any given time.
Legendary
Bennumon and Fengmon the bringer of droughts and the bringer of floods. Both are known as destroyers and life bringers. For where their rages hit new life sprouts in the aftermath. It is widely believed they are constantly disputing territories creating rainy and dry seasons in places such as deserts and dry grasslands.
Their eyes can move separately like a chameleons on their wings. Because of this they are known as the all seers. They are hard to approach however once one has earned their trust they are loyal to no end.
