(Continued from the Quest Counter)
A bright light shone around an area of the Binary Meadow, and inside was Sol. He had materialized in the area he had killed the Gazimon children. "Seems I am back." He looked around and his ears dropped back as he smelled the lingering scent of the children. "I'm so sorry....." He said. Sol took the time to gather sticks and created a grave site for the fallen children. He knelt down and prayed at the grave site. "I hope your souls found their way to heaven. Please, forgive me for my transgressions. I swear that I will live the rest of my days to make it up to you." After his prayer he stood and looked in all directions. He tried to remember if this area looked familiar as to gather where it is he needed to go first. "None of this looks familiar....I guess I really am in this 'Digital World' thing that the doctor had talked about." Sol placed his chin in his claw and tapped one on his chin. "How would I even go about getting back to Gaia?" He thought. "I do hope Haru and Kotemon are doing well....I hope they saw to the others getting home." Sol then jumped up. "That's it! If I am in the Digital World, then that means I've somehow made it to their world! Which means if I find Teo and Yami then perhaps I can get home!" Sol looked around once more. "Only............where in the heck do I even begin looking for them? Hmm." Sol tried to remember his past. "Still fuzzy........I can't remember past what I already remembered. I guess I'm on my own now." Sol said he began to walk in the direction of Xuan Wu.
"I probably should have asked Dasuke about their location........oh well. To late now." Sol continued to walk, taking in the sights. "This is a very beautiful place. I don't remember anything with such purity back home." He stated. He found a patch of flowers with a butterfly resting on one. He smiled and knelt down to sniff the flowers, in turn the butterfly landed on Sol's nose when it was disturbed. "Ha ha ha. " He took a breath and then released it causing the butterfly to flutter away. "I'd really love to see Haru and Kotemon again....but if I can't return right away, I wouldn't mind living here for a bit. After all, it's not like I haven't done this sort of thing in time past." He stopped to think on what he just said. "I have done this before? Hmm. I don't know why I said that....maybe a memory on the verge of returning? I hope so. This amnesia is making everything so difficult." He said as he continued his trek. Sol would continue down his path for the next hour.

Sol wandered a bit till he came to a place with a large oak tree. He walked around it looking up at it's branches. The birds that had made a nest at the very top were singing their song. "Such a wonderful oak." He said touching it's trunk. His stomach rumbled and he grabbed it. "I haven't eaten in quite a bit." He said then looked up to see if there was anything worth eating in the oak. "Wish this were a fruit giving tree." Sol said and at that moment he saw a bee buzzing around a hole in the oak. "Hmm. Seems I've stumbled across a hive. Where there is a hive there is honey." Sol licked his lips then using his large claws began climbing up the tree. "Hope this doesn't hurt to much oak." Sol said as he made his way to the hole in the trunk. He peeked in and sure enough a nest of bees were inside and a pool of honey. "They're hard at work. I'm just going to eat my fill then go by." Sol's scales would be sufficient enough to avoid the stings of the bees. He reached his head in to the pool of honey. The bees acted swiftly attempting to sting their unwanted visitor. Their attempts would prove futile. "This honey is good. Nothing like the taste straight from the nest." He said as honey oozed from his maw. He ate his fill of the honey filling his stomach. "All done." He said falling back down the tree. "Sorry bees. Hope it won't be to much trouble to restore what I took. Know that your honey will keep me going a little longer now! Ciao!" He said as he left the oak and the beehive behind.
Sol however was being followed. A man was keeping his distance from Sol as Sol traveled. He had been following him close to half an hour. Sol did not notice. "I haven't run into another sentient soul since getting back. I wonder if I am headed anywhere at all at this point." Sol sighed. He kept walking as his pursuer followed close behind.

Sol was walking through woods now after leaving the oak behind, the sun was shining brightly and the tranquility was even higher as he approached a clear pond. Sol approached the pond and looked into it to view his reflection. He stared at his face a while moving the side of his head to examine both profiles. He wiggled his ears and then opened his mouth; clenching his teeth together to view his chompers. He examined them at every possible angle then opened his mouth wide to inspect his tongue. "Hmm. What I wouldn't give for a toothbrush right about now." Sol's teeth were in perfect health nonetheless. He placed his mouth to the edge and began drinking. The water was very tasty and pure. It's cool feel refreshed Sol's throat and re-hydrated him. He sighed with relief as droplets of water fell back into the pond from his mouth. "That hits the spot. Certainly washed down all that honey from earlier." He said. He moved to the side of the pond and began examining his body for any signs of filth. "Hmm...." He said as he wagged his tail back and forth. "I don't remember the last time I had a good bath." He laughed to himself because he didn't remember much of anything at all. He took a look around the entirety of the pond to check if there were any signs forbidding entry. He saw none so Sol dipped his toe into the water and quickly pulled it out. "Brr...that's cold." He turned his head to the side like a wondering puppy as a thought crossed his mind. He then placed his mouth to the waters edge and began breathing fire. In mere moments the water began to bubble around his mouth. He wanted to see if the entire pond would bubble and heat up but he wouldn't be so lucky.
"Aw well. It was worth a chance." He took a deep breath and moved into the pond water. "Oh! Oh! Oh! That's so cold!" He said allowed. He moved to the center of the pond which wasn't as deep as it's appearance as he was able to still stand while his head and torso was above the water. "Hmm." He thought once more then ignited his claws under water, there was no fire obviously but heat was being given off nonetheless. The water again began to bubble as it warmed up around him. "Ah....much better." He said as he relaxed into his personal hot spring. Sol sat down in the pond; leaving just his head exposed. He closed his eyes and began listening to the sounds of the woods. He could hear birds chirping and the fish he was disturbing, swimming and jumping out of the heated part of the water. Sol was very content. Only, his content would not last to much longer. The person that was pursuing him was watching from behind some trees. This man was wearing a kabuki mask and possessed a D.I.G. on his arm. He was using the communications function and was speaking to someone or someones. "That's right. The rare target is taking a bath right now. He's a sitting duck. Completely defenseless. What is your ETA? 5 mins? Good. Once you're in position, wait for my signal. Over and out." He whispered into his D.I.G.. Whatever this man had planned it wasn't going to be good for poor Sol.

Sol was entirely relaxed as he enjoyed his bath. He had a smile and was humming a random, meaningless tune. A few moments passed, when the birds became mute. This caught Sol's attention and he opened his eyes and perked his ears up. "Hmm?" Sol wouldn't wonder it's cause for too long as the pond became quickly surrounded by men with D.I.G.s, They had weapons of every kind and their faces were hidden behind kabuki masks.
Sol stood up from the water and frantically looked around at all of them. "Who are you people?" Sol asked but his response was laughter among the men who moved into the pond. "Your coming with us, Guilmon." One man said, another turned to the others and spoke "Don't hurt it to bad. He'll lose his value if he's wounded to much." The man's remark surprised Sol, "My value? What are you talking about!? Leave me be!" Sol said.
"No can do red one. We make our living catching rarities like you. Never in our days would we have thought a Guilmon would be seen here on Silva. We'll be eating for months on the cash you'll send our way! Get him boys!" The leader ordered, Sol's eyes sharpened and he lifted his claws into the air and ignited them. "Fire Rock Breaker!!!" Sol yelled and threw his claws into the pond, causing a thick cloud of steam to mask the area.
The kabuki masked assailants covered their faces. Sol ran through the pond towards it's edge, he rammed into the blinded man in his way knocking him into the water. Sol left the steam and ran into the woods heading back towards the oak. The assailants that were not within the range of the steam cloud noticed Sol running away. "He's headed the way he came! Get after him!" The group of fifteen men gave chase. Sol's speed was superior to the men even with their DDNA enhancements.
Unfortunately, these men were not novices in their craft. They had set up traps in the vicinity. Sol's left foot triggered a primitive bear trap; biting into the bone. "Gaaah!!" Sol yelled as he fell down. He turned to look at his leg as it bled, "Ow! What is this? Ah my leg! Oh it hurts ohh." Sol tried to pry it open but it was much stronger then it looked. Sol could hear the men approaching and he looked back at the trap. "Rock Breaker!!" Sol shattered the trap and he stumbled to his feet.
He winced as he tried to put pressure on his wounded leg. He began to limp to escape. "Ah! Ah!" He winced and moaned with every step. The men caught up in no time and their rifleman, lifted their weapons. "Take the shot!" The leader ordered and the men did as instructed. They shot their electrical shots; 4 shots each, One hit his hip causing him to jerk in the opposite direction. One whizzed by missing entirely, the third hit his left claw; paralyzing it. "Gah!!" Sol winced but continued to hobble along.
The fourth shot hit the pit of his right knee. His right leg jerked forward with the impact. "Ahhhh!" Sol yelled as he fell to the forest floor and rolled twice before settling on his side. The men surrounded him shortly. Sol lifted his head up and tried to get up but his legs wouldn't respond. He didn't want to harm them but they were not giving him a choice. Sol opened his mouth to attack, "Fireball!!" He fired into the group of men in front of him, they dodge rolled as it exploded behind them.
Sol turned his head to another group and opened his mouth fire again, only this time one of the kabuki assailants; equipped with a chain link whip with a weight attached to its end, threw it forward and it wrapped Sol's mouth shut. Sol grabbed the chain with his uninjured claw and prepared to melt it. Another assailant with the same weapon wrapped it around his elbow and pulled Sol's claw away. "We have you now Guilmon!" The leader said. The man holding his mouth closed yanked on the chain, forcing Sol's head to the ground.
Sol's eyes returned to normal and he began to cry; frightened for his life. The leader crouched down to the subdued Sol, "Aw don't worry mate. We won't kill you. Can't say the same for who ever buys you though! Hah hah hah. Load him up! We caught a good one today boys!" A man with a pick up truck pulled up and the men threw Sol; tied up, into the back. Rifleman got in with him fully loaded and aimed to subdue if nessecary. Sol's ears were drooped back as he wept. A single thought crossed his mind as the truck drove off, "Dasuke..."
Through out the whole affair a single digimon was witnessing the whole struggle. It was a Palmon who had blended into the foliage, it was horrified at the scene laid before it. "I need to tell W.A.D.A.!" She said as she headed towards Xuan Wu quite a ways away.
