Despite the challenges that faced Earth over the next 200 years, human culture persevered and advanced in leaps and bounds. So that here, in the year 22XX, the digital age still reigns supreme.
Little do the people of Earth know, however, that the power of data they have harnessed has given life to another world, just beyond the dimensional veil. And that veil grows weaker...
