Leo grinned at Yaten's upset reaction. He didn't sound pissed though so he made no moves to apologize. Leo made the first move to pick her up by the fin. When the fishy bolted out he plucked a weed and stuck it in his mouth.
"Ahh, fish are stubborn creatures yessiree. Why this one time? I caught be a Whalemon as big as a tyutyumon. Now that's a whale of a tale," Leo said trying to sound like an old man sitting on the ground cross legged.

Yaten watched Leo try and nab the digimon and was surprised when it jumped and bolted around. "Whoa!" He said pointing at her, "It's the ModokiBetamon!" Yaten said. He then walked in front of Leo as he fooled around and ignored him completely to address the digimon. "Hey there, we're here looking for someone who looks just like you. We heard that is was trying to join W.A.D.A., is this you? Don't worry you can tell us, as you can see we're pretty good guys." Yaten said giving her a bright smile. "We didn't mean to interrupt your feeding." He added.

The small ModokiBetamon frowned at the anima when he acted older then he looked, sounding like a retired sailor that lived in the past much to often. When Yaten moved in front of the foolish anima, the Betamon moved a step back and made a small growl.
The growling paused however when the other mentioned W.A.D.A. Orange eyes suddenly looked around her before she carefully moved closer to the two, looking up at them once she thought the area was clear. "Does that mean you two are W.A.D.A. Agents?" She had to ask the two up front, or else she'd never be able to find the agents coming to escort her to their base.

"W.A.D.A. W.A.D.A. W.A.D.A. fuzzy fish," Leo said smiling. That wasn't really an answer but what the hell. Leo stood and chuckled. "W.A.D.A. sounds like water still to me." Leo put his hands behind his head.

Yaten smiled and shook his head at Leo before addressing the off-colored Betamon, "Well...that depends, are you the digimon or aren't you? We can just reveal ourselves to anyone, for all we know this could be a trap and that would be bad." Yaten said looking around. "We were sent here to find someone of your description, but the mission details are classified until we get confirmation. I'm sorry ma'me but I can't say anything more unless you tell us exactly what's going on." Yaten put his hands on his hips, his face soured when he felt a mud clump on it. He shook the mud off of his hand sticking his tongue out in disgust.

The female Betamon raised an eyebrow at the rather odd Gabumon anima singing a rather odd song. She made a guess that he was the younger of the two, with how unfocused he was on the mission at hand. The small child looked back to Yaten as he spoke, avoiding answering her question which made her hesitate in answering his.
She looked around them once again, searching for any sign of other Digimon or humans that could possibly be apart of W.A.D.A. or Imperium. With none in eyesight, she looked back at him and stared at him for a few seconds. Albeit unprofessional, they seemed nice enough to be W.A.D.A. agents. She carefully moved closer to them and nodded. "Yes... I am the Betamon who called about the information on my guild... Please take me to W.A.D.A. before one of them finds me!"

Leo chilled looking around. With out anything to do but talk it was kind of boring. Not that it mattered if he was bored or not. It seemed they could charm the betamon into returning with them. He turned back and forth stretching his back hands still on his head.

Yaten nodded to the ModokiBeatamon, "Okay, thanks for telling us!" Yaten looked to Leo, "Leo I have confirmation that this is our target, I'm gonna go ahead and dispatch her now okay?" Yaten said then without warning clenched a fist and attempted to clobber the ModokiBetamon in the face. "Sorry but our orders are to prevent you from going to W.A.D.A., we're from Imperium." Yaten said. He still seemed just as chipper as he was before when she thought they were W.A.D.A., "I wasn't lying though, our mission was really confidential until we knew for sure who you were. Sorry, perhaps under different circumstances we could have been friends. You have to die though so." Yaten cracked his knuckles and looked at Leo, "If you want to join in at any time, feel free, otherwise I'm gonna take care of it." Yaten looked back at the ModokiBetamon and hit or miss from his last attack waited for the target to do something. "Whenever you're ready." Yaten said.

The ModokiBetamon stared up at the two, a bit excited to be going with them to W.A.D.A. But that excitement quickly faded when, what she guessed, was the older of the two stated the words 'dispatch her'. The pour fish was caught off guard when the clenched fist came at her, landing its intended mark and knocking her back by quite a few feet.
She cringed at the pain in her face and coughed up a bit of blood along with a tooth. Staring at the tooth, she looked back up only when Yaten spoke and revealed who they truly were. Imperium! "You tricked me!! I should have known!!" She never realized any were smart enough to pull that tactic. She should have been more careful.
The betamon glared at Yaten as he silently waited for her to make a move. "You should have let me go to W.A.D.A.!" She stomped her front right claw into the mossy ground and the soft ground under Yaten and Leo's feet started to rumble. "WATER TOWER!" A powerful geyser would explode under the two anima if they didn't react quickly, blasting them into the canopy of trees and branches above them.
If both of them were launched up word, she'd attempt to turn tail and hide away from them. But if either of them reacted quickly enough, she'd detach her fin from her back, grabbing it in her jaws and quickly throwing it towards them like a boomerang. "FIN CUTTER"

"Weee," Leo said s he was pushed into the air. Latching onto a branch he hung there smiling. He looked around to see where everyone was. Then he dropped down his mouth glowing slightly. He released a small stream of blue fire at their foe. He would then stand there waiting for the next attack. Ready to dodge or even catch her fin if she threw it.

Yaten looked at the ground and when he felt the vibrations jumped away, the geyser erupted and although he dodged it got hit with even more mud. "Fantastic." Yaten said looking at himself, he looked up in time to see Leo drop down in front of him, hard enough to spray even more mud on him. "Really...? I hate this swamp." Yaten said as he watched Leo spray his signature move towards ModokiBetamon. Yaten didn't have any ranged moves so he waited to see what their opponent would do, "Hey do you think maybe she tastes good if you cook her? I've never had fish before." Yaten asked Leo. It was clear that Yaten didn't find this ModokiBetamon threatening at all. "Fish sticks I hear are pretty good from the other anima." Yaten said. He kept his attention on their opponent while making small talk. It seemed Leo's aloofness rubbed off on Yaten just a smidge.

The Betamon growled when the geyser seemed to have no effect on either of the two anima. With Yaten being the one on the ground at the moment of impact, he would be the one with her full attention. She'd grab the fin on her back to throw it at him, but before she could, flame erupted on her side.
The fish squealed and immediately retreated to the nearest pond to cool the burns made by Leo. The water steamed as it touched her skin before adding it's cooling effect to the wound. Poking up from the water, she'd glare at the two as they made small talk during their encounter.
Climbing out of the water halfway, she dug a claw into the wet ground under them. This was a rather water induced place which meant plenty of electrically conductive surfaces. She suddenly released a surge of electricity through the ground without a single word, hoping to shock the two by surprise seeing as they were soaked from the geyser.

"Hey do you think maybe she tastes good if you cook her? I've never had fish before."
"You bet," Leo said smiling. "Fish sticks, fish fillet, sushi, Cabbie Claw, Fish stew, Fish Pie, Fish chowder, Fish tea, Fish steak, fish head curry..." Leo stood there literally listing stuff. Until he felt a nice shock that sent his fur standing on end. He looked stunned a moment with wide eyes. Then he laughed.
"Shocking," he said grinning off the pain. Oblivious was the word for him. He could laugh off anything. With that though he decided to attack again he hopped around a bit aimlessly. Then into the same puddle as her.
"Knock, knock," he'd say as he made repeated punches aimed at her head. Then jumping out before she could retaliate. He hopped along the same path backwards til he was standing on a root. Get him once bad on them get him twice.....well that would totally be his fault for not learning the first time duh.

Yaten paid close attention to the list of fish products being named off, he was in awe at Leo's vast knowledge with this sort of thing. "Wow that's a lot!" Yaten said then something caught his attention he looked down at his feet and felt a tiny vibration and then he was electrocuted out of no where. "Ouch...that was unexpected...." Yaten said as he shook his head. "You know what sucks about you having electrical attacks and being surrounded by a muddy swamp? Mud doesn't conduct electricity well, which means that your attack strength has been severely weakened. Since Leo and I are now covered in the stuff, I think you'll find we have a heavy advantage." Yaten said as Leo moved in closer to attack. Yaten decided to circle around and began to run at a wide berth, once he was sure he was out of her field of vision, especially because she had Leo to worry about, Yaten charged in from her side. "Hopping Kick!" Yaten cried out sending forth off a series of kicks.

The Betamon couldn't help but growl lowly as the two seemed to joke about her life, listing different dishes they could possibly make out of her. A smirk came to her lips as the two cringed at the electrical shocking flowing through her body. Yet, it didn't take long before that smirk disappeared as the two shook off the shock like it was nothing.
This wasn't good. The V-mon anima quickly explained her situation and she backed a bit back into the pond. Because of how she was paying attention to Yaten, the only sign that told her Leo had moved was when she felt a vibration in the water. Her eyes immediately went towards the source but didn't have time to react as she took another punch to the head.
A loud squeak of pain came from her as she felt her teeth grind against each other. Two more hit her before she forced herself to dive deeper, blood trailing from her mouth and forehead, staining the water red. Moving to the other edge of the pool, she started to climb out, sniffling a bit. "Leave me alo-" She wasn't even able to finish. Yaten had circled around, trapping her and, with a powerful kick to her side, sent her flying into a tree. The small rookie felt bones crack and she let out a cry of pain before falling to the ground harshly.
Electricity sparked off her as she attempted to stand, legs shaking and wobbling. "St-Stay away...." She'd say if either made an attempt to come near her. She didn't care if the mud insulated them from electricity. As a last attempt to protect herself, she closed her eyes and let loose a burst of electricity all around her, sparks flying and taking down branch of the trees around them.
