Cora opened the room and stepped inside with Theos on his head. The room wasn't as big as the previous rooms Theos had seen, the walls were plain and it had two windows on the far end looking out over the kingdom. There was a table in between the windows with a picture of Midas and Cora as boys framed. It was the only thing on it. Leaning against the wall nearest to the windowed wall, was a very large mattress. Much bigger then anything a Theowmon living alone would need, it didn't look new. It was uncleanly with age old stains from different foods and drink Midas must have had over the years, the sheet was torn in places with one looking like a hoof print. It was the same as Theos hoof size in every way. The front of the mattress had four pillows laid out across one end to the other. One pillow had been torn from a set of canines, the impression was still noticeable despite it being stuffed since then. The outline of the mattress was lined with stones of every kind, since it did not lay on a bed frame this is what kept the mattress in place. Carved into the clay wall just above the bed was the word Midas, next to it was a very badly written Cora. There was a single unlit candlestick next to the bed on a small stool. On the opposite wall from the bed, was a sliding glass door which led out to a balcony. It looked out over the vast desert and could glimpse into the triplets room. The railing had two very deep hoof imprints ages old, indicating Midas often used it. It made anyone wonder what Midas thought about out on the balcony as a boy. The floor was covered with purple short fur carpeting, it was extremely comfortable to the touch.
Cora looked around and Theos could feel the mighty king slightly jerking, as if he were sobbing. Their was a slight weakness in his voice as he was overcome with emotion, "I haven't been in this room since the day Midas left over forty years ago." Cora slowly walked in eyeing everything. Allowing Theos off his head. "Nothing has been touched. It's as if time itself preserved this moment in history." Cora looked at the picture on the table. He was to big to hold it without crushing it so he eyed it with his head low. "Maybe Raja was right....maybe with you being here...it's almost like Midas has come home." Cora sat down. "I didn't realize...how much I missed him. Being in this room...here with his son....I have grown nostalgic. I wished everyday after he left, that he'd come walking through those doors and say, 'I'm just kidding!' but....he never did. He left....he left and never came back..until thirteen years ago. When he told me about everything...about you in the mountains. He looked so different and acted so different, it wasn't the Midas I remembered at all. Then I watched him leave again...for the second time...I couldn't say anything....I wanted to beg him to stay here. I wanted at that moment to go back to our youth, but he left....I couldn't...beg him...as king...I could do nothing." Cora looked at Theos. "Then you walked through those doors and it was like the goddess herself was giving me a miracle. The spitting image of Midas with just a few differences. I felt such a joy inside and I couldn't contain it." Cora put his claw to his face and closed his eyes pausing for a moment he began to silently sob. His cold salty tears ran down his face shimmering in the morning sunlight, a drop landing in front of Theos splashing him a little. "I am sorry....this is so unbecoming of a king..." Cora couldn't contain himself, the pain from losing Midas that he bottled down for forty years had escaped. He looked at Theos, "I...am so scared.....I am so very terrified....of losing you. When I saw you dash off and my guard came back and told me you went into the desert...I just reacted....I ran without saying a word. I needed to find you." Cora clenched his claw tight on the ground next to Theos, "I know none of this makes senses....we just met and I..." Cora covered his eyes with the claw on his face. "What is wrong with me...?" Cora's voice grew silent and the air filled with his low wails. Some guards peaked in and grew worried, Raja walked by and frowned sending away the guards and slowly closing the door as to not disturb either one of them. "Forgive me..........Theos....." His broken voice spoke out.

The room looked old and worn like centuries had passed between then and now. It even smelled nostalgic. He wondered why nothing had been changed in all these years. It was a wonder it having been sat untouched for so long. Coras head jerked slightly as his shoulders shook. Making Theos look down at his nose, "I haven't been in this room since the day Midas left over forty years ago." Theos gaze softened and he hopped off as he lowered his head. "Nothing has been touched. It's as if time itself preserved this moment in history." Theos cocked his head and stared at the picture with him. I wanted at that moment to go back to our youth, but he left....I couldn't...beg him...as king...I could do nothing." Theos continued to stare at the picture as though to memorize it. They were truly close. Like Kemba, Dan and him had been. "Then you walked through those doors and it was like the goddess herself was giving me a miracle. The spitting image of Midas with just a few differences. I felt such a joy inside and I couldn't contain it." Theos walked up to him nuzzling his leg. "I am sorry....this is so unbecoming of a king..."
"You are but a digimon no matter your title," Theos responded in understanding, "I...am so scared.....I am so very terrified....of losing you. When I saw you dash off and my guard came back and told me you went into the desert...I just reacted....I ran without saying a word. I needed to find you." Theos put his hoof on his clinched claw, "I know none of this makes senses....we just met and I..." It made more sense than he knew. "What is wrong with me...?" Nothing was wrong with him. Theos just sat there. He couldn't say anything. He didn't know his father. "There is no reason to apologize."
He would remain there as long as needed. Holding Cora's claw and counting the scales. He felt for him but he didn't have the same bond with his father. He could imagine though. He'd never want to be apart from Kemba. "Tell me more about the good times you've had with him." Theos said hoping that reminiscing something good will help calm him.

Cora's tears stopped flowing, his scale soaked skin becoming slightly puffy. Cora's chest jerked out as his body involuntarily took short breaths as a result of his sobbing, Cora looked at Theos and moved down to lay flat on his belly; the comfortable carpeting tickling Cora's underside briefly. He wrapped his tail around Theos; pushing him gently to Cora's snout. His tail partially laying on the bed. Cora leaned his head into Theos small body as his chin rested on the carpet below. "Yes...I'd like that. Let me share with you a memory of when we were boys." Cora seemed to have calmed down a bit with strength returning in his voice. "Perhaps you can get a sense of the digimon Midas was." Cora nuzzled Theos and began. "Well...It was in this room...not to long after we became close brothers. I hurt myself pretty badly playing with Midas outside. We were ordered to stay inside that day because it was the wet season and it had been raining for months with no end. My father, he was strict and was not above physical discipline. He never hit Midas though, I would often get lashed for the both of us. It was likely because Midas was not his real son. Anyway..." He said,
"Miiiidaas! Miiiidaaas! Stooooop!" A young Cora said gripping his tail in his claws and squeezing as Midas licked a terrible wound on Cora's face. Midas looked at Cora, "You're still bleeding, I need to clean the wound otherwise it can get infected." Cora frowned fiddling with his tail. "It stings though...why can't we go to see Magi?" Cora asked. Midas sighed, "That's because Magi will tell the King and then you'll be disciplined again. I won't let that happen." Midas said continuing to lick the blood from Cora's wound. "Besides, you taste really good. I'm kinda enjoying it." Midas said winking at Cora. Cora gave a half grin, "Don't make it weird..." Cora said. "I'm your older brother, I'm supposed to make you feel uncomfortable I'm pretty sure." Midas said chuckling. "At least, that's what the other older brothers tell me." Cora winced as Midas brushed over the wound again, "But....I'm older then you..." Cora said. "Nope, based on how our species age differently, I'm older then you by a few years....technically." Cora looked at his tail and smiled, "I...I like having an older brother..." Cora said flinching once more. "Good, you better get used to it because I'm always going to be the older brother no matter how much older you get or bigger. Even if I wind up being the same size as your warts one day, I'll always take care of you. You're my precious young one." Midas leaped off the bed and looked at Cora, "The wound stopped bleeding, you may not know this but my saliva has special implications to help clot blood. Usually, when a Theowmon cuts themselves they're not around civilization because we're supposed to be migratory. So we lick our wounds to help the healing process." Cora released his tail as it fell back to it's side, "That's neat..." Cora said. "Geez Cora you're such a dork. You are one timid prince." Midas said bopping his forehead. Cora flinched and rubbed it, he watched Midas walk out to the balcony and leap up onto the railing with his front hooves. He stared out over the night sky coating the desert. Cora tilted his head and walked out to stand near him. He looked at Midas who gave Cora a wide smile and looked back out over the desert. Cora looked out over it as well, "Do you want to go out like your dad?" Cora asked. "My dad is trying to gather the Theowmon together...he wants to create a place we can all call home and stop migrating here and there. My dad said that my first instinct would be to move around and travel, it's in our DNA." Cora looked at him blinking. "So why don't you?" Cora asked. "Bonds." Midas said looking back at Cora, "Bonds help me suppress my instincts. I didn't get at first why dad was doing what he was doing but since meeting you, I learned. I learned that creating bonds, strong ones, are greater then our instincts. I can stay here and live with you because of the bond we have forged. If Theowmon could live together and bond and raise their kids together, we'd be much better off." Midas said.
Cora smiled sheepishly, "Cora, you gave me something I would not have known otherwise and for that I am truly grateful. I want to be your pillar. If the world should crumble around you, I will hold it up with all my might. If the wind seeks to shred you apart, I'll shield you with my body. I made that decision in my heart, and I have not felt the need to leave since. You keep me grounded." Midas smiled. "I look out over the desert every night to remind me of the loneliness others must feel out there." Midas put his hoof on top of Cora's head. "So, let me take care of you. Lean on me for everything. Okay?" Cora's face lit up and smiled nodding, "What if your dad comes back and takes you to the kingdom he promised you?" Cora asked reaching for his tail and holding it. Midas leaped off the railing and placed his hoof over Cora's beating heart, "If that happens, I'll be in here. Our hearts beat together and if I'm ever not around, just listen to it and know mine is beating in sync with yours. I'll spur you on no matter where I am." Midas clenched his teeth together and gave a wide smile. He moved inside and headed for the bed, Cora reached down and touched his chest to feel his beating heart letting his tail fall back into place. "Now if you don't mind little bro..." Midas yawned and hopped into his bed biting at his pillow before settling in, "I'm tired so I'm gonna get some shut eye. I'll catch ya in the morning." Midas said. Cora walked inside closing the door behind him and walked up to Midas's bed. He grabbed his tail and fiddled with it crossing his feet inward and moving his hips side to side. He looked away and nervously spoke, "Um...Midas..." Midas opened up a single eye. "Can....can I sleep with you tonight?" Cora asked. Midas raised his head and softened his stare, "I'm flattered Cora, but I like girls and you're my brother. Get me some of your dad's booze first and then maybe I'll consider it." Midas teased. Cora became a bright red, "Miiiidaaaas! That's not fuuuuunnyyyy!" Cora whined. Midas laughed, "I know, I know! I just like the face you make when I embarrass you, it's cute." Cora pouted bending the tip of his tail. "Of course you can sleep with me Cora, hop in." Midas said moving over to give him some space. Cora smiled and crawled into the bed laying down and closing his eyes, Midas looked at him and couldn't help but grin. He placed his head down and also closed his eyes. Cora opened up one of his eyes and looked at Midas resting. Cora moved closer, wrapping his tail around Midas and laying his body into him. Midas head popped up looking very surprised as he looked down at the happy face of Cora. He smiled and placed his head on Cora, "Midas?" Cora whispered, "Yes Cora?" "I love you." "I love you to Cora. Good night my young one."
"We slept soundly together that night." Cora said feeling happy to remember it. "In the morning, my father found out about our disobeying him. He was very angry especially after he learned of my injury. He attempted to lash me, but Midas intervened and was hit in the face on my behalf. He lost a part of his ear. My dad was scared for the first time ever I think, there was quite a bit of blood. Magi saw us and managed to heal me and would have healed Midas but Midas refused. He wanted to wear the injury as a reminder. It reminded my dad that Midas wouldn't let him lash me alone anymore and my dad never hit me again. Instead, he took to grounding me and Midas both then on." Cora looked at Theos and leaned his face and rubbed the bridge of his snout against him, "Your father was a great digimon and you are a great digimon. It didn't take me long to love you, and love you I do. Though I am appreciative you don't share all of your fathers mannerisms. Did it help you understand him a little bit?" Cora asked. "The room is untouched, it's the same as it was so I'm sure you can feel your dad when he live here through his old belongings." Cora said.

Theos lay down next to his snout nuzzling it slightly. "Yes...I'd like that. Let me share with you a memory of when we were boys." Theos smiled. He loved his father greatly. Anyway..." He said,
"We slept soundly together that night." Theos listened smiling the entire time. His father sounded kind and thoughtful. Instead, he took to grounding me and Midas both then on." So that was how he got the nick in his ear, "Your father was a great digimon and you are a great digimon.
"I think I probably got the best of both my parents," Theos said smiling. He probably had some of the bad traits as well. He already knew he had a bit of a temper when it came to family. "I do understand him a lot better now. Thank you." Theos smiled and rest against him affectionately. He had to wonder though if his father would return however. He had to have been imagining things last night. Did that mean he was dead?
"I'm sure he is proud of both of us. You are a mighty fine King if I do say so myself," Theos said laughing.

"I think I probably got the best of both my parents," Cora nodded, "Belle is a kind heart, she was able to steal a person's heart very well. It was very easy to like her much like it is easy to like you, you both have a sort of magnetic pull that draws in people and makes them happy to know you and want to befriend you. That combined with Midas's protective personality birthed your own personality. "I'm sure he is proud of both of us. You are a mighty fine King if I do say so myself," Cora smiled at Theos, "I hope you're right. To be honest I've been entirely different from my fathers reign. My father was harsh and stale. He was a firm strong king but he was not very kind to anyone. During his rule he built up the riches of Coraggio by doing dishonorable things. I am trying to be as kind a king as I can because of Midas. I want my big brother to be proud of the things I've done here. To show him how I've changed Coraggio and made it a city of love instead of fear just as he taught me growing up." Cora frowned a bit. "Midas and Belle have not stayed long enough to see it. I wish they would come live here again. I'd protect them from Cursed Exodus. I want to be a complete family again. That is my dream and desire. So I guess you and I will both wait for Midas and Belle. I just hope I can convince them the next time they come to say in this kingdom again and live here with us." Cora said "I want him to say how proud he is of me. I've tried to honor him all these years." Cora looked at Theos and nudged him playfully. "Now that I have his son, he has no choice but to come! Though if I'm being honest Theos, I don't think I want to give you to him. I'm enjoying your company to much." Cora said, the tip of his tail was tapping the carpeted floor. Cora's face fell a bit flush, "I'm sorry you had to see me cry like that...it's so embarrassing. I was just so overcome with nostalgia and combined with me missing your parents...it's kind of silly." Cora laughed. "So, I could stay here all morning with you if you desire, tell you another story or two, but is there anywhere else you'd like to go?" Cora asked.

Theos listened as he spoke about his father. He sounded like it. He could understand an iron fist but the corrupt part was terrible. It must have made him a tyrant. At least something good came out of his rein. His son knew what not to do and had become a kind digimon. And his father Midas had helped that happen. He had to wonder why his father didn't stay. He had to know something they didn't.
"This place is so big.....hmm what about the courtyard," Theos said after a moment. If he was going to stay here he was probably going to play outside a lot. He doubted the garden itself was meant for play. It seemed to have a calming effect. There was five floors though. What were on the rest? "What's on each floor?"

Cora thought on it a moment, "The courtyard is a busy place usually. Digimon coming and going from one end of the castle to another, children playing, knights talking or sparring. As for the other floors, we have a kitchen and the guard wing. The guest wing and the palace bath that everyone uses. Magi's wing, the dungeon and the royal library." Cora said, he took a moment to consider it then nodded in confirmation. "Yea those are all the places in the palace, besides my room and the triplets." Cora said he nudged Theos with his snout. "What interests you nephew? I'll see you there." Cora asked.

The courtyard was the busiest place then. Which meant a good place to get to know others around the castle. He would have to go down there and meet some of the knights among others. He liked Magi he should probably go and give him a proper greeting especially now that he was going to be one of his students. He really had no reason to be in any of the other places. And he couldn't read so he had no use for the library yet.
"Well I would really like to get to know some of the other digimon around here. And I should thank Magi properly now that I am not stinking up his room," Theos said with a chuckle.

"Well I would really like to get to know some of the other digimon around here. And I should thank Magi properly now that I am not stinking up his room," Cora laughed alongside Theos. "Well to meet the other digimon will be what your coronation will be for. For everyone to meet the new prince of Coraggio. Everyone in the palace will be attending and anxious to meet Midas's son. We may give you some guards to keep them from crowding you ha ha." Cora said he raised his head and sat up, looking down at Theos. "Magi on the other hand, I'm sure would like to see you again with a fresh nose." Cora smiled. "You likely won't need me to see him then, my advisor is likely having a fit since I have not shown up to the throne room yet. I hate to leave but I must attend to my kingly duties at some point today." Cora bent his head down "If you need me, you'll know where to find me. I'll be in my throne room till supper, until then you have free reign of the castle. When you're ready to face Sheila, come to me. Good bye for now nephew." He rubbed his face against Theos and gave Theos a small lick on the side of his face with the tip of his tongue. A kiss if you will, on his cheek before standing and heading for the door. Cora opened the door and looked back at Theos, "The triplets room is just down the hall, if you were wondering. See you soon." Cora winked before heading out leaving Theos to contemplate everything set before him. A bright safe future stood before him, a very loving uncle. A strong woman of the family, three new cousins who wanted to know him and of course the love of his life. Now it was on Theos to decide which path he would take.

"Well to meet the other digimon will be what your coronation will be for. For everyone to meet the new prince of Coraggio. Everyone in the palace will be attending and anxious to meet Midas's son. We may give you some guards to keep them from crowding you ha ha." He had to wonder how many would be there to do such a thing. "Magi on the other hand, I'm sure would like to see you again with a fresh nose." Cora smiled. "You likely won't need me to see him then, my advisor is likely having a fit since I have not shown up to the throne room yet. I hate to leave but I must attend to my kingly duties at some point today." He would have to sit with him some time and see what all those duties are. "If you need me, you'll know where to find me. I'll be in my throne room till supper, until then you have free reign of the castle. When you're ready to face Sheila, come to me. Good bye for now nephew." Theos smiled and nodded his one cheek coming up with his tongue, "The triplets room is just down the hall, if you were wondering. See you soon." Theos watched him leave then sighed. It had not been quiet all day.
Theos walked over to the balcony and opened it up to air the room out a bit. He pressed his front hooves into where it was worn. They were bigger than his. He stood up on his hind legs and looked out over the land not unlike his father did so long ago. A lot changed in such a short time. What should his next step be? Learning took time so he couldn't really rush it. Though ever bone in his body wanted to be stronger right now. He knew that was impossible however. He'd train beside the boys. Get stronger gradually as he is suppose to.
In the mountains he played very little. He spent most of his time surviving against the elements or even other digimon. How many times had his small frame saved him from being eaten. And one way caves preventing him from getting beaten. He simply didn't know how to be a child he supposed. He enjoyed some of the things the bird digimon did. Like their stories or songs. Yet he couldn't play with them. They had wings and he didn't. He learned early on not to ask. They simply left him behind.
Without climbing and exploring he would have surely been bored out of his mind. He came to know those mountain paths like the back of his hoof....that's what he should do here. Explore everywhere. Get to know the lay of the land. He was already near the top. Theos looked p at the roof. It was a tall jump. With a hum he looked til he found it. That one small jetty between stones where it stuck out just enough. He hopped onto the railing and flattened himself against the wall. Then he jumped at the protruding brick. Then again to land on the roof. It was flat to be sure but the whole point was to get up higher. He stood there looking to the ground below as he walked along the rim.
As his uncle had said the courtyard was bustling. The sounds of talking and screaming children ringing the loudest though he could hear the faint sounds of battle here and there. He sat there awhile just watching from afar. Not unlike what he had often done in the mountains. He continued along the rim til he heard much closer voices. One sounding a lot like Kemba. He must be close to the siblings room. He looked down judging the jump to their balcony before stepping over the edge. He landed with a slight oomph and looked in from the balcony railing with a smile.

*Continued from Noble Intentions and Pained Faces*
The balcony door was cracked open, the cool refreshing breeze of the cold desert night mixing with the warmth of the room. It felt good on the freshly cleaned body of Kemba who looked out over the desert, he placed his sword down against the wall. He had a towel in his ear as he tried to clean the water lodged in them. "I think I can hear properly again." Kemba said walking back inside the room. "What a first day of being royalty...er..well...I'm not royalty but still." Kemba chuckled. He closed the door and crumpled his toes into the rug with a purr. This was definitely a step up from his basement which seemed a distant memory now. Kemba folded the towel and placed it on the table; noticing the picture. He picked it up and stared at it a moment. "They look so happy just as they did in the mirror world." Kemba said. He smiled, "I can't wait to make them happy again when we find Midas." He said putting it down on the table. He peered into the triplets room through the window, and saw it dark. The boys likely already sleeping. Kemba turned around and walked over to the bed sitting on it, he began to undo the straps of his braces removing them from his arms and began working the legs.
"Today was very eventful...and it taught us so much. It's kind of overwhelming." Kemba said, one of his straps had gotten stuck and he sucked his teeth as he jingled it to try and fix it. "I wonder if everything we've been planning will go so smoothly...Sheila and Dark Helix...if they made into the palace once..." He said finally freeing the strap and removing the last brace. Kemba turned his head to view Theos wherever he may be in the room, "I'm beginning to doubt our safety here if I'm being honest." Kemba frowned, "Which sucks because everyone is so great." He turned looking up at the ceiling. "What if we have to leave like Midas?" Kemba questioned, the moonlight filling the room from the windows shimmering off of his breastplate and headband; complimenting his golden gaze.

"I think I can hear properly again." Theos smiled and met him at the balcony door, "What a first day of being royalty...er..well...I'm not royalty but still." Theos remained there a moment before heading out himself, "They look so happy just as they did in the mirror world." Kemba said. He smiled, "I can't wait to make them happy again when we find Midas." Theos agreed. He wanted to see those happy faces again. He hopped onto the banister and laid their not unlike what he had done with his father. His head was perked and looking out to where the night sky met the sand. It was like he was expecting something...
"Today was very eventful...and it taught us so much. It's kind of overwhelming." Today had indeed taught them several things. Most importantly family. "I wonder if everything we've been planning will go so smoothly...Sheila and Dark Helix...if they made into the palace once..." Theos himself also had his doubts. Cora was one thing the guards and nobles were another, "I'm beginning to doubt our safety here if I'm being honest." Kemba frowned, "Which sucks because everyone is so great." He turned looking up at the ceiling. "What if we have to leave like Midas?"
"That would only be a last resort," Theos stated. "I promised Kaa not to hurt his father. It would hurt him more if I died. If it becomes such a great issue we will leave," Theos said his tail giving a slight wag of thought as it hanged over the banister. "We can't rely on others. Our problems are our own. Dark Helix will return and it will be up to us to make sure we aren't worth what they would lose in fighting us.....we'll kill every one of them if we have to," Theos stated bluntly his voice a bit icy at the subject.
Theos twisted himself around jumping off the banister and heading inside to Kemba. Sheila had been very right about the darkness in his heart. It started growing with Dan's death. That first promise to kill Ara. It was the start of it all. That was why his dark half had been so strong and there was no way to be rid of it now. It was a part of him. It had warped him a bit. It made him protective and maybe even a bit reckless.
He jumped on the bed and nuzzled Kemba. His thoughts were dark and all he wanted was to be with him. Why couldn't life leave them alone?

Kemba looked at Theos as laid close, Theos so easily spoke of taking a life. Kemba at one point would have been against the thought but with everything that has happened, he'd kill anyone who threatened his loved one. He had to hold on to the only piece of life he had left. He enjoyed Cora and his family and probably loved them to but they weren't Theos. Kemba's self reflection after Theos's speech made it clear that he'd turn on them if given a reason he could stand behind. If Dark Helix or Cursed Exodus did anything to Theos and turned Kemba against Coraggio to save him, he'd cut Cora's head from his shoulders himself. It wouldn't be safe for them to stay forever, not being hunted. Kemba removed his headband and placed it on the stool with the candlestick, he laid back; his chest plate gleam fading from the lack of moonlight. His feet hung over the side and the carpet tickled his paw pads. He leaned his head on his arms and turned it to look at Theos,
"Life sure does tease us. Cursed Exodus from the mines, now Dark Helix from Coraggio. It seems everywhere we wind up and find a good home, something happens around us." Kemba sighed. "You know I'm going to do everything I can to keep you safe...after watching you die in my arms because of my carelessness, brought back by some miracle, has made it very clear to me that I am not trustworthy." Kemba turned his head back to the ceiling, "Not to you of course, but to everyone we meet. I keep asking myself, would I turn on the triplets and Cora if it meant saving you?"
"I say yes without hesitation every time, so if it becomes apparent they can't protect us. We have to leave despite the promise to Kaa." Kemba said. "I won't lose the one thing I love most in this spiteful world again." He said, his determination burned into his stare. "Which is why your coronation is making me very nervous and I think you need to call it off." Kemba said looking to him once more.

Could Theos say the same? Would he turn on Cora and the triplets? No, he has only known them for a day and yet the bond was already there. He couldn't bring himself to hurt them. He'd never kill them to save Kemba....he would take Kemba and run first.
"You won't lose me," Theos said his gaze on the headboard. "I won't cancel the coronation either. I am not afraid of them....either one of them," Theos rose his head and looked to Kemba. "And you can't kill family," Theos said sternly. "They would never harm us intentionally we both know that. Violence isn't always the answer," This coming from the 'mon who said they would kill all of Dark Helix earlier. "We'll run.....if it ever comes down to it we'll run to W.A.D.A. they could protect us. We could live our lives on Tartarus and they would only have one way in and out. A way that could be blocked at a moments notice," Theos was already planning what they could do.
There was no way they could run forever. Instead they had to find a place and fortify themselves. It may as well be Coraggio and if it failed then the Tartarus. If that failed......then the most desolate place they could find and survive...... if they were ever captured and couldn't escape....
"If we are ever captured.....what do you say to killing one another," Theos said solemnly. It was a terrible thought but he wanted to have it all planned out. What they could do, where they could go and how they could prevent things from happening.

"You won't lose me," No. He will not. "I won't cancel the coronation either. I am not afraid of them....either one of them," Kemba looked to him. It wasn't about being afraid, it was about keeping everyone safe. Why wasn't Theos seeing that?
"And you can't kill family," Theos said sternly.
"They would never harm us intentionally we both know that. Violence isn't always the answer," Kemba's stare fixated on Theos, his expression souring.
"We'll run.....if it ever comes down to it we'll run to W.A.D.A. they could protect us. We could live our lives on Tartarus and they would only have one way in and out. A way that could be blocked at a moments notice," So, they'd hide forever with the protection of W.A.D.A.? Perhaps they should do that now.
"If we are ever captured.....what do you say to killing one another?" Kemba seemed surprised and appalled at that suggestion. He became quite cross as a result,
"Are you kidding? That's not even funny! Don't ever suggest that to me!" He exclaimed, raising his voice. "I would sooner fall on my own blade! How could you even say that after what I was forced to do to you!?" He sat up and glared at Theos. "Do you understand that the reason I'm this version of me now is to ensure you live!?" He yelled.
"I wanted you to cancel the coronation not out of fear but so we could protect this family! You don't need to take stupid risks like throwing some party! I know it's for bettering Coraggio but I'm not sure this place is somewhere we can be safe anymore! We need to think about us! If Dark Helix or Cursed Exodus or whoever had you and told me to kill Kaa...or Don...or even Midas, I'd plunge my blade into their heart without thinking twice not because I want to but because I need to save you! You announcing yourself to the world is possibly putting me in that position that I don't want to be in damn it!"
"You want to run to W.A.D.A., fine! Let's do that! We'll go tonight even, but don't ever ask me to kill you again! I can't do that again, I won't!" Kemba said, his voice breaking up as he shouted that last sentence; choking back the urge to cry.
"Even thinking about it....." He said his voice lowering to a whisper.
