Talia would lead Miles to a ramen shop a few blocks from her gym. The sign read Chief's Ramen and one could see the bar stools behind the curtain that only came about half way down. If he looked close enough in the shadow of the wooden floor boards he would notice wheels. She sat in one of the wooden stools her feet hanging off the ground. A sign hanged behind the counter listing the flavors.
"Sup Chief," she said to the digimon behind the counter.
The big brown furred digimon turned around revealing green ears and a tiny head. It smiled ear to ear at the sight of the pair. The wendimon looked kind enough.
"Oi, whots thes ya brin' me a new cust'mer a," she said kindly but with a heavy accent.
"My newest prodigy," Talia said motioning to Miles.
"Good on ya' mate. Chief's the nam' and cook'ins my game," she said boisterously.
"Chief travels around a lot following events and learning new recipes. Trust me you will see her a lot," Talia said laughing at her. "She is also a great source of information."
"Imma gess'in the usu'l for ya," Chief said and Talia nodded. "Whots about ya mate," she said looking to Miles.

Miles looked at the shop and the chef inside, he used to it a lot of ramen noodles when he would follow his dad from town to town. He hadn't heard of this place though,
"Sup Chief," she said to the digimon behind the counter.

"My newest prodigy," Talia said motioning to Miles. Miles bowed his head politely with a smile.

Miles made himself comfortable on a stool next to Talia, "I'll take three of your largest bowls of your chicken ramen please." Miles said, his tail wagging behind him as he took in this new character. She spoke with a strong accent and it reminded him of the Kangarumon who was knocked out ten seconds into the second round of his fathers third title match.
Miles appetite was almost identical to his fathers. His father had to buy a restaurant from a Digitamamon once when Miles and his dad ate them out of business. People often referred to them as unnatural digimon to be able to eat so much and remain looking so thin. It made Miles Senior extremely popular with the ladies, but his mother would often scare them away. His sisters didn't have nearly as big an appetite.

"C'mon righ' up," She said and began stirring some pots in the back. She poured their bowls and lay them out on the counter before them. "Eat on up," she said smiling and turned back around to maintain the kitchen while they eat.
Talia wasted no time in digging in. She loved egg ramen noodles she got everything she needed from them. She slurped them down. Once she was done she'd lean back with a contented sigh. Chief would clean up her bowl taking it to the back and then coming back out.
"I will always love your cooking," Talia said earning a smile from Chief.

"C'mon righ' up," She said and began stirring some pots in the back. She poured their bowls and lay them out on the counter before them. "Eat on up," Miles eyes seemed to twinkle as she laid out three of his bowls and he dug in slurping down as much as he could with not so much as a breath.
His tail wagged with content finishing one bowl and moving on to the next. He looked to his side to see Talia eat and found it peculiar, he had always assumed plants to eat soil. He didn't bring up the thought not wanting to be insensitive twice in the same day.
In just two minutes he had eaten clean his ramen and sat back rubbing his bubble belly and let out a happy burp. "That hit the spot! I feel like I can go seven rounds with my dad right now." He said looking over to Talia. "Thanks coach! You're really warming up to me!" His dad had always said the quickest way to a man's heart was through their stomach.
"So....I have a question....why are you making me clean those dirty rugs. I just had a shower and the whole....all night to clean thing..." He said expressing his discontent.

"Because you did it wrong. You don't throw a punch with your thumb on the inside. You'll break it," She said leaving some bits behind as she got down.
"Each of those rugs are different and are made of different materials. They may all look alike but you'll learn not all of them are easy to clean. And doing them all night will help with your endurance," she laughed and began leaving.
"Let's head back kiddo you got a long night ahead of ya," Talia said smiling.

"Because you did it wrong. You don't throw a punch with your thumb on the inside. You'll break it," Miles cocked his head, what did she mean by that? You knew how to throw a punch already. Was it a hint about the rugs perhaps?
"Each of those rugs are different and are made of different materials. They may all look alike but you'll learn not all of them are easy to clean. And doing them all night will help with your endurance," Miles would have to figure it out it seemed, otherwise he'd get no sleep and that was more important to him than even eating.
"Let's head back kiddo you got a long night ahead of ya," Miles sighed and nodded.
"Lead the way coach..." He said still sighing very loudly to ascertain his discontent of it.
