Intercepting the Scouts

Theos ears twitched at the sounds of battle. It seems it had already begun an it left a pit in his stomach. He hoped Kaa and Don would be alright in this.

"Just over this ridge should be my unit..." His unit was in the middle of battle so they couldn't rely on the scouts, "Wait here for further instruction."


"Sounds like they're still fighting." Blake said, "Let's go help them then!" Kemba said. "No...I have to take you to the camp...we need to get a head start. We can't risk the scouts escaping from us once they become overwhelmed." Theos nodded in understanding. Though he also wanted to help.


"Yes...that would be the logical course of action. The Special and Ranged force should be able to handle this." Don added. Ban frowned, "Aren't those Agumon supposed to be my friends?" Ban said, "They're your unit, yes but you have a more important job too do Ban." Each time he talked it reminded Theos of how naive he really was. Calling his unit his friends.



"We will get them home Ban, I promise." Don said. Kaa looked at Don, "Don't make promises you may not be able to keep." Don looked at him "I intend too keep it." Theos hanged his head slightly moving his gaze away from Don and Kaa.



"O-Okay..." Ban gave a half smile, "Th...thanks."



"Just make sure you three come back safe and sound okay?" Theos nodded smiling slightly. "I'm not worried. Theos and Kemba will be with me." Blake chuckled, "That's right! With those two, you're bound to succeed!"



Yes....between the three of them they had to, "Whenever you're ready General. I will take you to the camp...we won't make it until nightfall though." Kemba smiled, "Good...the cover of darkness will make things easier for us."


"Yes it will. You three be safe," Theos said hiding his discomfort behind a smile. "Lead the way.....we'll be back before you guys know it." Theos started to follow the agumon.

They watched until Theos, Kemba and Ban were out of sight, "Alright guys...let's do this!" Blake said dashing towards the sounds of battle. The Stegomon following closely after him, Don began to move and Kaa held out and arm stopping him. Don looked curiously at his older brother.

Then a ripping pain filled his heart as he looked into Kaa's eyes, they had a sharp gaze. The reptilian pupil, fixated on him as if staring at an enemy held such an anger behind it. It was borderline hatred. "If anything at all happens to them...I'm holding you responsible." He said. Don frowned and his gaze softened, "I know. It was my suggestion after all." Don answered. Kaa truly believed there could have been another way, it caused Don to second guess himself. Had he really explored all avenues? Was this truly the best course of action? To just place such a serious risk on three beloved family members?

The thought faded, he had tried. This was really the only way...he had to destroy his brothers comfort. He told Ike he'd shoulder Kaa's hatred and anger and anyone else if he had too. He'd make sure this war was won at any cost, even if he appeared the villain.

Kaa dropped his arm and ran to catch up to Blake and the Stegomon, Don following at his heel.

They came to the scouts and were doing battle with a young DinoRexmon and four other digimon. A GeoGreymon, a Allomon, a Boogiemon and a Vilemon. The Agumon scouts were grossly outmatched, several of them were already laying in the sand, disintegrating.

An Agumon was yelling as it's skull was crushed between the jaws of the Allomon it's maw filling with blood. The headless body landed in the sand and dissipated, Blake bit his bottom lip "Damn it! Not soon enough!" He cried out. Don pointed out, "Fire!" The Stegomon aimed it's back and open fired, "Shell Needle Rain!" It's bladed plates fired off and took the digimon off guard.

The Vilemon was killed immediately before it could kill an Agumon and the Allomon was wounded letting out a pained roar as it collapsed to a knee. The GeoGreymon and Boogiemon looked over at the oncoming reinforcements.

"Heh....told you that you'd never win...." The Agumon being pinned under the foot of the DinoRexmon said.

Blake ran forward, "Come on ya scaly bastards!" Blake cried jumping up with a kick, the GeoGreymon reacting fast with a tail whip. Blake was sent into the sands and stood up. "Huh....more came...." The GeoGreymon spoke up, "Coraggio scum." The Boogiemon added taking to the skies and his gaze on Don and the Stegomon.

Kaa stood in front walking slowly towards them, embers sparking from his maw "You have ten seconds to release that Agumon before I rip the head from your shoulders." Kaa angrily spoke.

"Princess....what would you have us do? Engage in combat?" The Allomon asked rising to his feet, removing the blades from his bleeding flesh.

Don's eyes twitched at the word, Princess?

Natalie was only faintly enjoying the battle. Simple agumon were not nearly enough of a challenge she was hoping for more from Coraggio. It seems they sorely underestimated the Scomparsian army. She growled as she knocked one to the ground her foot coming to rest on its head to keep it there. Before she could kill it the cries of her comrades rang through. She looked back at them then up at the dune her eyes narrowing in on the archer.


"Heh....told you that you'd never win...."

"Shut up you weak evil mongrel," she said applying pressure to make it try to cry out but with its jaw clamped shut against the ground it came out as a muffled moan.


"Come on ya scaly bastards!" Natalie smirked her gaze watching and gauging their enemy. "Huh....more came...." The GeoGreymon spoke up, "Coraggio scum." 


"You have ten seconds to release that Agumon before I rip the head from your shoulders." Natalie scoffed a bit letting out a low growl.


"Princess....what would you have us do? Engage in combat?"

"This is war isn't it. Grey and boogie take care of that archer. Allo go head to head with Mr. One Arm. I'm sure even a wounded beast as yourself could take on a cripple," Natalie commanded.

"As for you," she said looking to Kaa. "Do you really think you can take down Scomparsa's princess. I'll put a naive like yourself in his place." She trailed her paw back letting the agumon raise its head a bit with her claw positioned at the base of its neck. She dug in and twisted severing the spine before starting forward. "In war there is only the strong and the weak. Show me which you are."

She noticed the sparks and her mouth lit up as well she spat forth a liquid ball surrounded by fire and after a few seconds raced after it. The explosion as the two burst would hit covering her movement as she jumped through the burst claws aimed to tear into Kaa.

If he dodged and not waste his breath on trying to meet her own she'd zig zag and jump in the air releasing another burst practically point blank letting the shock wave push her back through the air to land on her paws. If he started rushing her as well she'd meet him head on for a claw on claw battle. 

"This is war isn't it. Grey and boogie take care of that archer. Allo go head to head with Mr. One Arm. I'm sure even a wounded beast as yourself could take on a cripple," Natalie commanded.

"As you wish your majesty." Grey said and began charging towards Don and the Stegomon. Don saw the approaching behemoth and had gotten a little bit scared, these digimon were not scouts were they? They were well fit for battle. A grave error, these were akin to Kaa's special forces.

The Boogiemon took to the air and charged them as well. The Allomon ran towards Blake, "Allow me to tear from you your other arm!" he roared. Blake put a hand to his hip, "Heh...yea I doubt that very much." Blake said running towards him.

"As for you," she said looking to Kaa. "Do you really think you can take down Scomparsa's princess. I'll put a naive like yourself in his place." Kaa watched her execute the Agumon and he reached out, "No stop!" He cried.

"In war there is only the strong and the weak. Show me which you are." Kaa reeled back and clenched his claws tightly together. He let out an angered roar, and charged her watching her breath attack he dashed to the left as it exploded, shooting up a burning cloud of sand.

He saw the princess leap high into the sky, and fire another of her breath grenades "Sonic Slash Rain!" He fired his spines at the falling grenade, causing the explosion to occur earlier than intended and the force of the explosion sent Kaa reeling backwards. He stopped and saw the DinoRexmon already on top of him, she caught him by surprise and lashed out a claw. Kaa pulled his head back but it grazed his cheek and he flinched at the pain, he turned to whack her with his tail in her side and get some distance.

Whether it connected or not, Kaa would turn to face her and open his mouth "Blue Prominence!" He fired off a semi-powerful fire ball. It wasn't his father's flame, but he still had the strongest among his brothers. He'd follow the fireball in a similar fashion she had done earlier, if she launched her grenade at his breath attack he'd use the cover of the explosion to fire off his spines at her.

Don looked up at the Boogiemon approaching as the Stegomon charged GeoGreymon and engaged in close range combat with it. This gave Don time to focus on the Boogiemon, "Time to die little dino!" It fired off it's ocular attack, shooting red beams at Don who dived out of the way. The attack burned through the sand and Don looked back to him after coming to his feet, "You're clearly not a scouting party..." Don said. "Tell me...what was your purpose?" Don asked.

The Boogiemon snickered, "Lord Stall had a feeling that Coraggio had already sent spies to gauge our armies movements, he put us together to give the illusion of a scouting party of our own. It was to lure any potential spies and it worked. Your little Agumon scouting party took the bait. We didn't realize though that one of them escaped and managed to alert you all."

Don scoffed, so this was a trap to lure the scouts to their death? It seemed like he was always a step ahead of them. "I guess Stall couldn't anticipate everything." Don mused, Boogiemon laughed "I wonder about that. He sent the princess and us as the attack group. He could have sent much weaker soldiers to dispose of Agumon filth. We're the contingency plan, so your arrival won't hurt us much." Boogiemon fired his eyes one more time and Don dashed to the side, his mouth sparking and firing a fireball as a counter.

The Boogiemon weaved easily out of the way, "I have the advantage weakling! I can fly and you cannot!" Don stared at him thinking, "Perhaps."

Kaa's tail caught her leg as it came down making her jump back. She let out a small growl of displeasure as she favored the leg a moment. Bending it slightly to check it before putting full weight on it again. He fired his own fireball and she spat out another of her  lava balls. Then another figuring he was using the same trick she had used. It also exploded between the two smoking and the movement of the sand it had stirred up enough sand between them to be blinding. 

She flicked her tongue then jumped into the cloud to try and land on her foe. She didn't doubt she may miss so her mouth was filled with lava to shoot once more at Kaa wherever he may be. As the sand settled it glimmered slightly. The heat from their breaths bursting slowly turning the sand around them into glass. 

The large cloud of sand from the resulting explosion caused Kaa to frantically scan it as it settled back to the earth. He hissed when he saw the princess leap towards him and he too leaped at her as she was falling. He would meet her in the air, his arms reaching for hers and his jaw lined for her throat. If she reacted, by releasing her breath grenade he would fire his fireball attack at her as the force from her own grenade would leave her much longer in air and in an impossible situation to dodge a direct hit, much like Kaa.

If she didn't use her breath attack, he'd clamp his jaws tightly around her throat, even as her body landed on top of his. His bite would clamp down harder and pull her and if she wanted to avoid losing a chunk of her throat, she'd have to move with his head and push into his bite.

The Boogiemon meanwhile swooped down on Don who ducked to avoid his attack, "Tsk...troublesome fly." Boogiemon said "Ironic, coming from a flyer. I can see you're not very bright so now that I've had time to review your abilities, I'm fairly positive I'll be able to beat you in a few moments." Don said spreading his legs and getting himself prepared. He hunkered his head down and hissed, his eyes fixing on Boogiemon. "Don't get so cocky! You'll still never reach me! Ruby Eyes!" The demon fired off the red beams and Don pulled back just enough so that the attack would hit the sand near him. He covered his face and shielded his eyes as the cloud of sand blew up. His mouth sparked and he fired his fireball into the sand and created an even bigger dust cloud.

The Boogiemon clenched his teeth as Don became invisible in the sand, "You think I need to see you?" He flew up and watched the sand cloud, suddenly Don's spines came hurdling through towards the flying digimon. Boogiemon used his trident to deflect them and he dodged a few others. "Ha you think that was going to be enough to hit me ya twerp!?" Just as the digimon got comfortable again, from behind him a single spine enter his back and cut through to his stomach, getting lodged.

The devil took a surprised gasp and fell down to the sand, his blood staining the grains. "H-how....?" He said as Don approached him from behind. "Well it helped you weren't the most intelligent of your species, but it was a double distraction. The sand blinded you from where I was. Then I shot my spines to further break your focus on me, as soon as that happened I was able to get behind you while the last of the sand settled. Spinomon are fast runners you know, I made it behind you before you even realized. Then firing my last spine into your spine was easy." Don placed his foot on the demon's head.

"So, what was that about being a contingency plan?" The Boogiemon glared at him and when his eyes began to glow, Don sank his claws into the devils face effectively crushing his skull. With a single twitch, the demon was dead and it's body became data.

Don looked up to see a confidently approaching GeoGreymon with a fair bit of flesh from the Stegomon hanging in his jaw. He then quickly swallowed it before it could dissipate along with the rest of the Stegomon. "Tasty..." He said licking the blood from his jaws.

Don felt his fear come back as he was approached by this fearsome foe.

Natalie growled as he jumped up to meet her. She used her front claws where they connected with his as a pivot point throwing her head and front body back while kicking out to push herself away as well as take some chunks of skin with her one long claw if possible. As she pulled away her mouth flared red and she spewed forth her lava as a follow up. She landed a good distance away when it was met with his own. She smirked at him as the dust settled.

"Not bad for a Coraggian. I might ask father to let me keep you as a toy," Natalie flicked her tongue. They were very even. "No wonder father needs to destroy you now. Your wicked ways must end for peace to remain."

She rushed forward again. If he spat forth a ball so would she and push her way through to lock claws with him in claw to claw combat. Since they seemed to be getting nowhere by just firing their attacks. She aimed to lock her front claws with his and kick out with her wicked back ones. If he refused to meet her challenge she'd whip her body around to hit him with her tail if he remained close enough if not she would spew forth her lava.

Kaa leaping at her and went to bite at her throat but Natalie kicked out to get him away, so his teeth clamped down on the air within inches of her throat. Her dominant claw leaving a nasty mark across his chest as they were sent in different ways. Kaa fired a fireball only to meet hers. He hissed as he landed on the sand, a trickle of blood escaping from his wound and running down his belly.

"Not bad for a Coraggian. I might ask father to let me keep you as a toy," Natalie flicked her tongue. They were very even. "No wonder father needs to destroy you now. Your wicked ways must end for peace to remain."

Kaa glared at her words, what was this girl saying? His wicked ways? Peace? Was this some sort of joke? It was distasteful and it angered him even more. He hissed as she approached and he charged her as well as she reached to grab his claws, Kaa moved to the left to avoid her and his eyes watched as her tail whipped around to hit into him. She was quick, reacting to his dodge didn't give him enough time to dodge the tail whip so he had to think fast. Kaa reached on his back and pulled out one of his spines and drove it down into the princesses rump, right above the tail.

Her tail connected, so even if he hit her it would not have gone deep enough to hit the bone as Kaa's intention. He fell on his side from the force of the tail and opened his mouth, firing a fireball on his way down at her side. After a moment he got up and glared at her, "You filthy Scomparsian...how dare you talk ill of Coraggio....you invade my city...and kill countless innocents. Women and children...unearthed whole families from their livelihoods. Destroy...destroyed my life....your city and its royalty is a stain on this good world!" Kaa said with a pain wretched throat.

"As heir to the throne of Coraggio....I cannot allow your evil to exist! What you call peace....is just comfort for your rich pompous royals! You let your people suffer! You're no true princess! You're no better than that devil Stall and your heartless father!" He barked.

The GeoGreymon stood over the much smaller Don, blood dripped from his teeth as he focused on him. "You're....really big....and muscular....aren't you? I'd be infatuated if I wasn't so scared." Don nervously chuckled, "What?" The digimon asked, "Don't worry about it....shame I'll have to send you to the other side." Don said trying to put on a brave face.

"Heh...you won't even make a decent snack." He said beginning to approach, "I bet the same can't be said about you..." Don mused. Don's mouth sparked as he fired off his breath attack at the bulky Greymon who flinched slightly as it hit his armor leaving a small burn mark.

Don began to run after realizing how ineffective it was, "That's right, run away little one." The GeoGreymon laughed as he leaped into the air and landed in front of Don. The force of the landing sending a wave of sand at Don and his eyes widened as he was overtaken. He rose from his blanket of sand and saw a blur of a tail and within moments he was airborne as his face was hit by the tail of his enemy. Don's snout bled immediately and he lost several teeth landing hard into the sand. His neck nearly breaking from the force of the blow.

Don looked up as his vision attempted to focus on the approaching carnivore. "This is bad...." Don thought allowed.

Natalie hissed as she felt the sharp point puncture her hide. She strided sideways away from him. A glow in her eyes as she turned to access the damage. She met his fireball with her own but just barely. She shook her head clearing herself of the sand that nearly blinded her.

"You filthy Scomparsian...how dare you talk ill of Coraggio....you invade my city...and kill countless innocents. Women and children...unearthed whole families from their livelihoods. Destroy...destroyed my life....your city and its royalty is a stain on this good world!" Kaa said with a pain wretched throat.



"As heir to the throne of Coraggio....I cannot allow your evil to exist! What you call peace....is just comfort for your rich pompous royals! You let your people suffer! You're no true princess! You're no better than that devil Stall and your heartless father!"


"My father is far from heartless. He shows nothing but love and lets people work for him instead of being street urchins. Its called giving back to the community. I'm also far from pompous you idiot. If I was pompous I wouldn't be out here protecting my people now would I," Natalie barked at him. Her cheeks puffed out and red. Destroy their city? She scoffed at the notion. "You idiots attacked my father on his way out of the city. He said you wouldn't hear anything and a peace treaty or at least a non-aggression pact."

"I don't know what stories your daddy put in your head little prince but mine is a noble soul," Natalie started circling him slowly. The sounds of a large thud making her look to the greymon. "If your a prince I wonder if he is too. You are about to lose your brother little prince." She looked back to Kaa. Her eyes burning just as brightly as his.

"My father is far from heartless. He shows nothing but love and lets people work for him instead of being street urchins. Its called giving back to the community. I'm also far from pompous you idiot. If I was pompous I wouldn't be out here protecting my people now would I," Natalie barked at him. Her cheeks puffed out and red. Destroy their city? She scoffed at the notion. "You idiots attacked my father on his way out of the city. He said you wouldn't hear anything and a peace treaty or at least a non-aggression pact."

This girl is delusional, it was clear with how much she defended her father she knew nothing about him or his going on. She had been lied too, what a dad.

"I don't know what stories your daddy put in your head little prince but mine is a noble soul," Kaa just shook his his head at her, "If your a prince I wonder if he is too. You are about to lose your brother little prince."

Kaa turned his head slightly to see Don in trouble, he felt his heart sway momentarily and a part of him wanted to run to his aid right now. He turned his head to see Blake still locked in combat with the Allomon at nearly a stand off. He turned back to the princess and hissed. "I wouldn't count out my brother...he's smarter than anyone on this field. He'll come up with something." Kaa said but he wasn't sure, he remembered Theos's words. Don doesn't do well under pressure. His eyes looked down at the sand a moment and he dropped his arms and looked at her.

"You know I don't expect you to believe me because you clearly have a lot of love for your father, and I can understand that but...your dad is lying to you. He is being manipulated by Stall to destroy Coraggio, by how you speak of him he treasures how you see him. He is something to you that he isn't to everyone else. We have refugees in Coraggio from Scomparsa, the one was a child. He came to us barely fed, naked and witnessed horrible things in Scomparsa under your fathers rule. We gave them both asylum....your dad didn't come to us with a treaty, he demanded the refugees to return because Ike's father avenged his wife who was vandalized by one of your family. In front of his son, is that something you can accept? His name is Ike and his father is Cole...he served as a personal servant to Dubal." Kaa took a step forward.

"Your father wanted to kill them both! How could you be so blind to the going on of your own nation!?" Kaa yelled.

Don stood up and looked at GeoGreymon, "Blue Prominence!" Don said firing one into the sand to cause a cloud of sand to conceal him, GeoGreymon squinted his eyes as the sand settled and Don was gone. "Running away are we?" GeoGreymon saw him heading towards where Blake and Allomon were fighting. "A united front? You think that will work in your favor? Ha ha ha." GeoGreymon dashed forward making up the ground fairly easily.

"If I can make it to Blake, I can provide ranged support while he takes care of the close-up battles. It's the only chance I have." Don felt the tremble in the ground as the thundering steps of GeoGreymon caught up with him and with a flick of his antler, Don was flung into the air with a yell, shards of shattered spines raining from the ground. He landed with a couple of bounces and coughed up blood, "You....bastard..." Don said growing out more of his spines. "Try these on for size!" He fired off his spines that GeoGreymon didn't bother to dodge.

They lodged themselves into his chest and stomach and small trickles of blood ran down from the wounds. He didn't so much as flinch, "That it? Hmm...I was hoping you'd put up a fight but...as Natalie's personal guard I suppose you're just out matched." Embers dripped from the dinosaur's maw. "Mega Flame!" He fired his large fireball that hit the sand next to him and exploded sending Don with a yell further away. He slid on his side until he came to a stop looking in the direction of GeoGreymon whose mouth embered once more.

"Soon, there will be one less prince to the Coraggian throne." He said. Don shakily got up, his body was just not strong enough to deal with this powerful digimon. He was easily as strong as Blake if not stronger, there was no way to beat him. He tried to think but his thoughts were scrambled. He felt himself beginning to panic.

"I wouldn't count out my brother...he's smarter than anyone on this field. He'll come up with something." She scoffed and watched the fight leave him. She glared disapprovingly.



"You know I don't expect you to believe me because you clearly have a lot of love for your father, and I can understand that but...your dad is lying to you. He is being manipulated by Stall to destroy Coraggio, by how you speak of him he treasures how you see him. He is something to you that he isn't to everyone else. Her glare softened as she remembered a kind giant servant of her fathers. He had spoken of his wife and son often. She forgot his son's name she was more intrigued with stories of adventure he told. He had disappeared quite some time back now.



"Your father wanted to kill them both! How could you be so blind to the going on of your own nation!?"

"I am not blind," Natalie huffed. Though if they were refugees for killing nobility it would make sense her father would want to kill them. Cole had been nothing but kind though so she couldn't see him killing needlessly. Though he could have just been sucking up to her like a lot of servants do. Even her handmaidens did nothing but compliment her.

"Obviously we have two different stories," Natalie said crossing her arms. "I for one love my father and know he is not as terrible as you make him sound and vise versa. Therefore we may be being played against each other.....I never liked Stall he's always been creepy but very loyal to my father. I can't imagine him doing what you say. I think you're blowing half of it out your ass. There is only one way I will accept such a notion. Bring me Cole himself. That digimon has never once lied to me.....though I think he did exaggerate some stories," She looked to the ground thoughtfully.

"I am not blind," Kaa glared at her, was she admitting she knew of these things? Knew of her fathers true nature and accepted them? If she was just like him...just like them, the ones who hurt so many people. He'd rip her apart not a moment too soon.

So she did remember Cole, and he had made an impression on her. Cole had never mentioned forming a relationship the the princess of Scomparsa, he had only ever talked about Dubal and the nobles. He had to wonder Cole's thoughts on this woman. He had never lied to her which meant that he never told her he was a general of Coraggio's forces sent to spy on the going on of her nation. If her father lied to her so easily, he'd twist her thoughts on Cole too. She was a prisoner and she didn't even know it. That wasn't what a father should be to their child.

Kaa softened his gaze, "If you want me to bring you Cole, that means that you believe me partially. Cole will be indisposed but I can bring you his son, Ike. He can vouch for everything and explain it all...he is the one that has suffered the worst in your city. He snapped his head back when he heard Don's cry of pain, he was going to be killed at this rate. He may be angry with Don, but the last thing he wanted was Don's death. Kaa calmed himself and looked to Natalie.

"Any last words?" Grey asked Don began to hyperventilate as the towering figure stood over him ready to kill him. His body wasn't moving, running. He couldn't think or react all he could do was stare and silently weep. "Ike....I'm sorry...." Don said holding his side as he sat up staring at the glowing mouth of this terrible digimon.

"Mega Flame!" The GeoGreymon shot out his fireball to kill the scared prince, but was met with resistance when Blake jumped in front of it holding out his sword and doing his best to hold back the attack. It was stronger than Blake thought, the flames burned his hands and arm before dissipating and even managed to warp the metal of his sword.

"Tsk....this one is strong." Blake said turning back to look at Don, "You okay little buddy?" Don was relieved to see Blake "Yes....for the most part anyway..." Don looked to where Blake and the Allomon once were and it was dissipating into data. A large gash in it's throat the fatal wound.

"Oh? You managed to kill Allo? I suppose expecting him to deal with a cripple was to much to ask for. Oh well...I'll be more than enough to kill you both." Blake clenched his teeth and gripped the hilt of his blade tighter. "He's part of the personal guard of the princess...he's tough Blake." Don warned. Blake smiled, "Nothing I can't handle." The GeoGreymon began laughing, "Oh how little you know about me and Scomparsa...I am not part of her personal guard....I AM her personal guard. I am the strongest soldier in the Scomparsian army made to protect the crown heir to the thrown!"

"Strongest soldier....?" Blake said, he suddenly felt his stomach turn. "Allow me to show you true despair..." Geogreymon closed his eyes and power began to flow from within him, Don and Blake both looked on in shock and terror as his body was engulfed in a bright light. "GeoGreymon....Warp...Shinka!" Suddenly, his form changed and when the light cleared an armored digimon wielding two swords stood in front of them, "Gaioumon!"

The Gaioumon looked at Blake and Don and smiled, "Now do you see? There was never any chance you could survive this battle. I will end this in the blink of an eye."

"I can't bring you Ike and verify what I've been telling you...if you kill us here. Spare me and my men and I will come alone with Ike and meet you wherever you wish. If your guard kills us, you get nothing and Stall will continue to manipulate your city from behind the scenes and your dad will continue to lie to you and mistreat the people of your nation that you clearly hold in high regard." Kaa pleaded with her. "You're just as much a victim in this as Cole and Ike and the people of my nation. Give me an opportunity to prove it! Call him off!" Kaa asked after seeing him evolve.

"If you want me to bring you Cole, that means that you believe me partially. Cole will be indisposed but I can bring you his son, Ike. He can vouch for everything and explain it all...he is the one that has suffered the worst in your city." Natalie looked to his pained brother thinking about it.

"Heel Grey," she called out however for him to stop. Just as his blade was ready to come down and break Blake's own. "Princes shouldn't beg," she shook her head at Kaa. "Cole or nothing. I have never met his son and will not accept the word of a stranger. One of you remains as a hostage the other two have an hour to bring back Cole before I take the hostage life and return to camp......let's see only fair to take a prince since there are two.... Grey seize the Spinomon," She ordered.

"Bring me Cole and your brother remains alive," Natalie said glaring at him. "If you don't I will assume you lied and next we meet I'll torture you to death for wasting my time."

Natalie began walking towards Grey their conversation over. She kept an ear out for him though ready to dodge the moment he attacked.....if he attacked. She didn't trust them however noblemen shouldn't lie. It was a personal belief of hers.
