Digimon Hybrids are special humans whose soul has a specific affinity to the natural elements represented by specific digimon souls. You two had such a reaction on your initiation. When you were injected with DDNA the elements of Earth and Wind flared up, which tells us that you possess the trait of these Digimon Hybrids. The spirits of Earth and Wind have called for you to be there next partners. This is a power unlike any other as if you succeed in unlocking the spirits, you will control the very elements they represent in powerful forms. From what I heard Fire, Ice and Darkness have already claimed their spirits. Light appears to be on his way and now you two. I will not lie to you, the test will grant you great power but the cost of failing is an early grave. I am required to ask if you wish to undergo the exam despite the risk to your well being. Should you wish to forgo the test, we can set you up with something else. There is no shame in wanting to ensure your life." Talvi's body tingled as she heard the price.
It had been exactly what she was wanting. Life and death, overcoming her weaknesses. Earth and wind she couldn't help but to wonder which was which. She assumed Samantha could be an air head...
"I accept." she said without hesitation and looking Mavus in the eye. Whether Earth or Wind she wanted this. She desired change.
She knew the price was high and though she herself was bold to face it she looked to Samantha. She felt even if in this short time like she might be a lot more scared than her. After all each person was different.

Wind and Earth had chosen one of them and although Sam gravitated towards Earth there was no sure fire way of knowing if it had called her. After all Wind was another one to consider and she had that fear of heights so maybe it was calling her to get over it. The mention of a test didn't really phase her at all, she knew there had to be some way of proving herself. Life or death didn't matter to her at the moment, she was just existing in this world made of the unknown elements. To her, she was numb from being abused all those years and she felt that Life or Death was just a state of mind. sure she was breathing and moving like a normal human, but she felt ice cold inside and not in the way of apathy or boredom. she felt this way because she had all those walls protecting her and she couldn't remember the last time she had been enveloped in anything but this feeling.
"I'm in." She said not hesitating at all. If she lived then great she could finally find out who she really was. If not then she would die trying and maybe she'd be able to rest. Either way she saw an adventure and she was eager to start. She gazed over at the digimon as he awaited the answers. She smiled at him then looked Talvi in the eyes. Talvi had also made up her mind without a second thought but that wasn't the reason why she had bravely decided what to do. Sam was tired of being told what to do and she felt a bit rebellious.
"Regarding the test, should we fail is it a slow horrible death or a painfully long death?" She asked needing to know. The aspects of ones death mattered to some and her curiosity was piqued. Succeeding granted more time in this world but dying had its own little adventures. Not that she was in any rush to die, she just wanted to know so she could challenge herself. This test was not going to be anything like a walk in the park, no that would be too easy and boring. The more she thought about it the more she grew to accept her situation. She was going to try and no one was going to stop her.

Mavus smiled at the girls brave answer, "That is great news! I have no doubt that you can pass this exam. To answer your question should you fail, I cannot say as the actual contents of the exam are known only to those who take it. Those who failed well, they're not here to say. You shouldn't think about that though, it is no coincidence you appeared just as the ones who have been passing have appeared. Each element calls to the others, I'm certain you'll both pass and take your rightful place as Digimon Hybrids." Mavus smiled and stood up moving his way towards the door. "Now that you've accepted, it's time you get on your way. You'll need to go to the quest counter and transport to the W.A.D.A. Embassy in the Tundra, from there you can either find a vehicle or you can trek to the temple through the snow and ice. The choice is yours, you two may go together if you like. Unless you have anymore questions, you're free to go and I wish you godspeed." Mavus opened the door for the ladies. "Good luck! I'm excited to see you succeed!" Elecmon said with pep.

"Odds my be against us, but as you said we are unique. I do not doubt our success." She says looking to Jaques. She nods her head to Mr. Jerinaw as she turns her gaze back to him. "Mr. Jerinaw it was a pleasure meeting you." she says smiling as she walks past out the door.
She was eager to see what type of exam this was but she stopped out the door looking to Samantha. She wasn't sure if she was going to go straight to the exam area as well. So she was going to question her about it.

But now it was different.
She looked to the younger girl as she thought about the possibility of death but it was worth the risk. She finally fit somewhere and she didn't have two people who looked like her or tortured her. Gwen walks into the room waving goodbye to the Floramon while smiling happily. Once in the office, she sees a man sitting in a big chair. "Hello, are you Mavus the guild leader?" She asks as she walks towards him. "I'm Guinevere, the newest recruit." She says stopping a few feet from him. Dantelion |

Mavus looked up with a smile from behind his desk. One look around the room and one could see it was made for convenience and comfort. With a lounge sitting just opposite his desk and filing cabinets. A large screen sitting one wall were all the seats could see. A green caped lion sat in one of the chairs and would nod to her if she looked towards him.
"Ahh, Guinevere yes I do remember that name. I am happy to have you join my Guild. Please make yourself comfortable," Mavus says motioning to the lounge and standing. He would sit across from her no matter where she sat.
"Now then. I of course have to go over the rules of the guild. What we do here excedera," Mavus said his smile never wavering.
"Just the basics you rattle head," the lion said with a sigh. "I am his partner Jaques by the way."
"Right," Mavus coughed and smiled. "We here at eternal storm are a family. Now like a family theres always going to be people you dislike and others you do like. We don't require you to do quests with others or even at all. You are more than welcome to move at your own pace. When you decide to take a quest we ask that you don't take an unnecessary risks that would endanger your life. When you want to enjoy some downtime you're free to use all of the utilities
. This is your home now," Mavus finished smiling. He was getting a bit better with constant correction from Jaques.

Gwen smiled at the man and his lion digimon. "Thank you, I am happy to be here. This place sounds very nice and a good place for me to be. But if I can be blunt. I am really excited about getting my Digimon." She says looking around for where they go next. Dantelion |

Massafear entered the office, closing the door behind him. He looked around the room a bit as he walked towards Mavus. "Hello sir, I'm Massafear Ventur. I was told you expected me. Pleased to meet you, sir." Massafear said trying to be polite. He looked over to Jacques, smirked, and nodded his head once, to show that he had acknowledged his presence in the room as well. "That must be his partner." Massafear had thought to himself. He looked to Mavus to see what he would say next, and despite it being his first day, he was very relaxed.

Mavus looked up with a smile from where he was seated on the couch. One look around the room and one could see it was made for convenience and comfort. "Hmm yes I do remember someone was coming today. I am happy to have you join my Guild. Please make yourself comfortable. I'm Mavus," Mavus says motioning to the lounge.

The red digimon said chuckling.

Massafear had taken a seat in the lounging area as Mavus had motioned him to do. He casually leaned back, rather than having a stiff upright sitting position. As Mavus spoke, Massafear kept eye contact for the most part, only occasionally glancing to Jacques. The rules were spoken and a smirk had appeared across his face, He liked how both Mavus seemed to be a kind man, and the guild's policies were welcoming and easy to get behind. Never did Massafear expect this experience to be more like a lifestyle rather than an actual job. "I wouldn't necessarily say eager. I find it important to know about the guild and to connect with the man who's going to be my boss. But also, I do kind of want to know how to get my partner." Massafear said smiling and rubbing the back of his head.

"Well we are right here to answer any questions you have," Mavus responded with a smile. "Your digimon can be gotten from one Dr. Ichi in the digimon registry. He is a unique person to say the least," Mavus continued.
"Aka no one likes him and he doesn't get along with others," Jacques elaborated earning a chuckle and a pet from Mavus.
"I do believe he is a stereotypical mad scientist," Mavus responded.

Massafear tilted his head slightly at the description of Dr. Ichi. "A mad scientist?" Massafear stated. The thought of a mad scientist peaked his interest, but he wasn't too comfortable with the way Jacques made him sound. It didn't matter much anyway. The downside of having a job is that there won't always be great people to work beside. He would just have to go and find out for himself. That could just be their personal idea of what they perceive the doctor to be. "Well, sounds fun. That'll be where I head next then." Massafear spoke with a smile, deciding to remain optimistic about it all. "As for questions, none really come to mind at the moment." Massafear's eyes wondered up as he rested one hand on his chin and the other on his elbow, the typical thinking position. When he couldn't think of any to ask, he got up and placed his arms behind his head. "I'm sure you're a busy man, so I won't take anymore of your time." He began to walk towards the door, only stopping and turning back towards Mavus and his partner to make his final closing statements. "Thanks for everything. It was great to meet you, boss. I'll give it my best shot out there!" Massafear gave them the thumbs up with a winning smile. If Mavus and Jacques didn't have anything left to say besides a goodbye, he would turn back around to leave. "Later!" Would be the last thing he said, facing the exit and waving two fingers in the air before finally walking out.
