Talvi stepped out of the teleporter into a small room. It looked like any other transport room only smaller and without a receptionist. She headed for the door stopping as she heard voices outside. She listened a moment to the shuffling of paperwork, scooting of chairs, and general business talk. Mainly about who W.A.D.A. might send. Their distrustful noises didn't go unheard. Well there was no point in standing in here all day. Talvi opened the door and stepped through looking around the room as several eyes turned to her. She bowed politely before talking, "Nǐ hǎo, wǒ xiāngxìn nǐmen dōu zhīdào wǒ wèishéme zài zhèlǐ. Suǒyǐ wǒ huì qiēduàn zhuīzhú. Nǐmen zhōng de nǎ yīgè shì wǒ yīqǐ gōngzuò de rén." Hopefully her partner in this would step forward. She had a lot of practice talking to a Chinese friend of hers while playing Blade Online. She knew her accent was probably rather strong but intelligible. SoltheGuilmon

A W.A.D.A. agent overseeing the small embassy approached her. When she spoke in the native tongue he grinned at her. He was very proper, standing at attention; his hands enclosed behind his back.
"Hello agent Talvi, you honor us with your presence." The younger Chinese agent said. He bowed slightly.
"Though your ability to speak our tongue is admirable, there is no need. The Chinese people are taught English as a required second language. It is law here. Even still, your D.I.G. is equipped with a function that allows universal translation. The ear pieces should be in a sleeve compartment. As well as the piece that fits under your tongue to translate your words. Dr. Ichi is quite skilled in tech development." The stern agent chuckled.
"I believe you are aware of our situation Miss Talvi. The two infants running wild in our great nation is very dangerous." The W.A.D.A. agent spoke as if he still had civilianship in China.

"Hello agent Talvi, you honor us with your presence." She nodded in response. A rather friendly greeting considering the country and organization were at odds.

There was no need for the translator if she could understand him however.
"I believe you are aware of our situation Miss Talvi. The two infants running wild in our great nation is very dangerous." Indeed.
"Indeed it is. Especially since it is the pairing that it is. Even a small explosion could set off a chain of large ones or create wide scale panic," Talvi responded. "Do we have a general area in which to search," Talvi asked.

The agent nodded and looked off to the side in thought, "Yes...we do. The pair set a small home on fire. The Chinese police force is investigating it. You are to meet up with their forensics team and try to find a clue as to where the troublemakers have gone. I'd like to express how important it is that you realize you are merely a partner here and not a solitary police force. You are here to assist and not interfere with politics." The young agent motioned Talvi to follow as he headed outside where a black car was waiting.
The outside was beautiful and rich with color. It felt almost untouched by time. Like there was never a war. Proof that it was only the West that bore the scars of that horrid time. Everything was still organic.
"This car will take you to where you need to go Miss Talvi and shall take you everywhere you are allowed to go. The driver has already been informed. He is an esteemed member of the military. You couldn't be in safer hands. Do you have any questions before you go?" He asked with a smile.
It was clear Talvi was not allowed full freedom. It felt almost as if she was a prisoner here.

She knew very well she was walking on thin ice. She just had to step lightly and avoid the water. She followed him at arms length.

"What is the name of the policewoman in charge," Talvi asked stepping up to the car and the open door.

The agents smile remained but he looked to the driver a moment. "The policewoman in charge? If you referring to the young cadet that asked for W.A.D.A. assistance, she is indisposed and will not be leading this case. Unfortunately, she did not follow proper protocol before asking for outside assistance so she has been reassigned. The lead you will partnering with is a pristine investigator by the name of Jun Hwang. We have the utmost confidence you and he will solve this dilemma."
The W.A.D.A. agent reached for the door to the car and opened it. "Please Miss Talvi..." he said motioning her with a bow to get into the seat.
It was clear that even the W.A.D.A. agents of the embassy were not entirely loyal to W.A.D.A. This government had turned this embassy's loyalties most likely. It left an uneasy feeling like she had no allies anywhere.

Talvi knew immediately this was going to be a lot harder than it sounded. Pristine? That was not a word one used for any normal person.
"Please Miss Talvi..." She returned his bow.
"I am sure investigator Jun Hwang and myself will get along rather well," she said taking a seat within the car. Once more she has stepped into a cage. Her every move will be measured and questioned. She will have to think before speaking and keep up that well bred appearance her father always wanted for her. That of a dignified rich and noble family made to rule over hundreds workers.

After Talvi stepped into the vehicle, the agent closed the door and stepped away. The driver got in and started the vehicle and began to drive. The chinese W.A.D.A. agent waving as she headed down the street.
After she had gone, the agent reached into his pocket and pulled out a small burner phone. He pressed a speed dial and placed it on his ear.
"Our guest has arrived and has been sent on her way. Yes, a woman agent. The agent in question is a unique one. Agent Talvi, the wind hybrid. Yes sir, thank you sir." The agent placed the phone back into his pocket and whistled heading back into the embassy.
The drive was long and the solider made sure to stay on particular streets, avoiding main highways. The car was hovered powered and made almost no noise as it gracefully floated over the asphalt. The driver made no motion to speak or look at Talvi, not even so much as a glance through the rear view mirror. It was almost like a soulless individual was directing Talvi's life.
After a half hour that noteably would have been shorter, had the driver stayed on the highway he removed himself from several times. They pulled up to a home that had been completely burned to the ground. Humans of all kinds walked with dogs and analyzed the grounds. There were no civilians anywhere. The regular police seemed just as soulless as the driver, standing at attention and not budging.
Suddenly the driver spoke up, "Please remain in the car until you are instructed otherwise."
He opened the door and walked around the side and passed the caution tape. The soulless looking police moving the tape to allow the driver through. Talvi would see him approach a man in a beige trench coat, strapped with a model gun that still used bullets. Meaning that this gentlemen was practically unarmed should that gun be used on Talvi for whatever reason, her changed DNA would make those bullets of no use.
It was impossible to determine their conversation but the solider saluted and remained as he likely explained the situation. The investigator dropped his head and brushed his hand through his hair, the universal sign of annoyance. After a moment, he waved off the soldier and turned his back to the car, returning to his investigation. The solider returned and opened Talvi's door. He said nothing and waited for her to get out before closing it again.
The driver then stood at attention in front of the car. At least she knew who to approach now. The strong smell of the house remained and filled her nostrils immediately. It was like poison to the clean air she had been introduced too when she arrived. The next thing she would notice, was a body bag. It looked like there might have been a fatality. It was time for her to meet her contact.

Talvi payed the driver no mind settling for watching the world through a window. Earth would never change would it. She would spend her time here looking through windows. However it was more than just her life that wouldn't change. It was humanity and the way they judged those of their own species. The endless wars for selfish beliefs and the inability to do anything but try to better oneself through wealth and power.
She hadn't been in the digital world long or met many digimon. However she felt more at home there than on her own planet. A sad but truthful thought.
Talvi felt the car slowing and focused in on the smoking rubble. The dogs would find very little with smoke in their noses. It was also very obvious their runaways were not going to remain nearby. It most likely had upped their priority from missing to arsonist. The car came to a complete stop and she waited for the driver.
"Please remain in the car until you are instructed otherwise." It seems she was to remain in sight at all times. Which meant no approaching any place with out the appropriate gaze upon her.
Talvi watched the two speak briefly. Military police while not always needed did work efficiently. Something her own country needed at times. As the door opened she slid out and stood up straightening her attire slightly.
The smell of smoke made her wrinkle her nose for a moment but as she walked to straightened her face. It would do no good to make a face of disgust at their first meeting. She stepped up beside the investigator looking to the body a moment.
"Greetings," she said with a slight bow. "I assume everything is in order. So I'll get to the point. How far back have the barricades been set?"

"Greetings," she said with a slight bow. "I assume everything is in order. So I'll get to the point. How far back have the barricades been set?"
The investigator eyed her like she had several different heads, his expression of distaste woefully apparent he scoffed at her questions, "What did you say?" He said abruptly.
"Is it common courtesy for honor-less mercenaries to speak out of turn? Perhaps you should introduce yourself before inserting yourself into my investigation." The gruff older man said. His grey goatee and wrinkled eyes spoke of a man of considerable age. He had a slight hump and a ice cold stare. His badge displayed his name as Jun Hwang
"We ask those mercenaries for a single man and instead they send us a little girl. Such disrespect they show. Honor-less pigs, the lot of you. I want to make myself very clear. I don't like you or your organization. Any man or woman who betrays the home they were raised in are worse then criminals. I have been on the force for thirty years and no damn outsider is going to come in here and start asking questions." The older man pointed a stern finger.
"This is my investigation and you've been asked here as a guest to be a digimon informant and nothing more. Our military is to preoccupied to assist and that is why we bothered to contact you...with no other choice. So do not think to involve yourself unless asked. Now these two creatures have set fire to this home and burned a man alive to an unrecognizable form. We don't know where they went but they must have left some clue behind, so instead of asking such pointless questions, make yourself useful and look for one. If you can't do such a simple task, go back to your pig pen. Understood?"
He opened his eyes wide to bolster his intimidating demeanor, and waited for Talvi to answer him.

"Talvi Taika, Investigator Hwang," she said coldly. "Do not let your personal opinions cloud your judgement. I am here as a W.A.D.A. agent not as a woman or an American. As such my only duty here is help in the capture of two digimon nothing more. I will not impede your investigation and I will lend my aide.
"Now with so many people around I doubt they would remain nearby out of fear of being found. They are dangerous and have committed murder. Accidental or no we must treat them based on their abilities. One breaths out gas and the other is literally a floating fireball. I would suggest a grid of gas detectors and heat detectors for this job.
"There is little more your men can do here. Whoever lived here is dead and your hounds won't pick up anything with ashes and smoke in their noses," Talvi glared at him daring him to go off on her again. Even if he did he could not deny what she had said. She had given him what he needed to find them. Now it was a matter of getting a small one or two man escort to patrol with her. Since she knew they would not let her out of sight. Let him suggest she do all the leg work. Lead him to believe it was his idea.

The investigator clicked his teeth at her backlash letting her speak, "Do not speak as if you know anything about a crime scene. Though we believe the scoundrels to be the source of this fire, we had to be make sure that this isn't a copycat so the hounds are looking for any bomb or incendiary devices. They're not looking for a scent of those beasts. My men are trying to collect anything that will identify my victim since he was burned without recognition."
He spat at the ground and glared at Talvi, "A little girl trying to play adult, ha! You don't even know the first thing about what we're doing. Why do you think you're here agent? Do you think our field agents have technology that can track your monsters? That is military grade materials that a police force doesn't have. Your idiocy is more annoying then your presence here. How about you shut that pretty mouth of yours and actually start looking, hmm?" Hwang motioned towards the rubble.
"You got that fancy shmancy glove don't ya? Put it to use, or are all you good for is being a pain in the ass? It'd have been better if they actually sent a man...women don't belong doing this kind of work." The investigator stepped to the side. "Let's go girly!"

If that was the case their escape wouldn't be a coincidence. So either he said that to keep himself in charge or they weren't forthcoming with the job description.
"A little girl trying to play adult, ha! You don't even know the first thing about what we're doing. Why do you think you're here agent? How about you shut that pretty mouth of yours and actually start looking, hmm?" The Euroasian police force technically was military. However it seemed they were treated rather poorly as a branch of it.

Talvi scowled slightly but didn't push the matter. Rather she walked forward and brought up her D.I.G.'s interface. Bringing up a screen that projected itself and the heat signatures before her.

Investigator Hwang watched as she fiddled with her D.I.G. and began scanning the area. He was close at her heel as she worked. Her interface showed faint traces of the fire once there. Not one particular area seemed stronger then another but it was a large area to search. The detective however, in his age, was not one to be patient.
"What is taking so long? Can't you speed this up? We're burning daylight! Such a useless whelp!" He yelled.
"Detective Hwang!" A strong and affirmative voice rang out catching the older mans attention. His strong dominate demeanor had immediately retreated and became like a scared child being scolded by a father. The approaching figure bore a military outfit not unlike her driver only it adorned a multitude of badges and medals. His short hair and stern expression demanding the utmost respect and obedience. Two armed soulless soldiers at each of his sides. He approached Talvi and the detective, every officer saluting him as he walked by.
"What do you think you're doing?" The new man asked the scared investigator.
"G-General...I-I was working...the digimon case with the W.A.D.A. agent..." He answered timidly.
"By disrespecting our honored guest? We invited her here, and if my ears heard right, you just insulted her. Was I wrong? Are you soiling the Republics honor?" He asked with a gaze that threatened to start a new blaze with Hwang as the kindle.
"O...oh I would never...General! It was all in good fun." Hwang responded giving a fake smile as wide as his wrinkled cheeks would let him. The General smiled and looked to Talvi.
"Miss Taika, is it as my detective says? Were you both having fun? Being insulted?"
Hwang nervously looked at her almost begging for her mercy.

"What is taking so long? Can't you speed this up? We're burning daylight! Such a useless whelp!" She was doing more than him. Following her around like a dog waiting for a treat.
"Detective Hwang!" Talvi watched the military man. She put down her arm and stood at attention. He deserved her attention since he was of such high authority. She wouldn't salute since he was not of her country but she did show respect in a brief bow.
"What do you think you're doing?" Oh this was going to be good. She watched the investigator hiding a smirk that wanted to appear.
"G-General...I-I was working...the digimon case with the W.A.D.A. agent..." He answered timidly.
"By disrespecting our honored guest? We invited her here, and if my ears heard right, you just insulted her. Was I wrong? Are you soiling the Republics honor?" Honored guest? China was never one to put a feud or a war behind them. She had been expecting tolerance and nothing more.
"O...oh I would never...General! It was all in good fun." What a lame line. He could have at least tried to pass it off as him being impatient to prove himself.
"Miss Taika, is it as my detective says? Were you both having fun? Being insulted?"
"I am not one to lie General. I wasn't; however he is impatient to see justice done since this has become a murder investigation. I am sure many of the men are on edge not knowing if there shall be another explosion," Talvi watched the General as she spoke. Afterwards she cast a glance to the investigator letting him know that her excuse was only as good as he would let it be. That she held a bit more control now and she could easily turn his actions against himself if he pursued his line of behavior.
"The name is Talvi Taika, General," Talvi said introducing herself as she returned her gaze to the General.
