The resulting explosion from the bomb rained embers and debris on the town below. Fire erected through out the town as the Meramon moved forward. He had a fireball already in the palm of his hand and launched it forward at the rising Talvi. He immediately threw a second from his other hand while gathering for a third in his opposite.
The Meramon began to volley fireball after fireball at Talvi. The Meramon would walk closer to her while he threw out his attack, once he got close enough he would launch his fist out in an attempt to hit Talvi while she was distracted with all his might.
If she should fly away from his attack, Meramon would launch a stream of flame out of his mouth at her, to engulf her in the flames.

Talvi weaved in and out of the fireballs. The large masses hard to dodge at such a close range. She continued to climb steadily upward however. Until the fireballs stopped and she looked down to see its open maw spewing forth a flame. This had to end. He was expending a lot of energy but he had a lot to spare. Where she could not keep this up forever.
As much as she hated this. W.A.D.A. forbid killing and yet without its death or at least close to this would not end. She took a deep breath gathering the wind before her like a shield. She dove into the spewing flame rather than dodging. The heat around her made her sweat profusely and left her mouth feeling dry. She stopped just in front of his face as he finally closed his mouth and the flames ceased.
Talvi released one blade towards its large eye. He was much to close to dodge and with such a large target it was hard to miss. When it would roar and reach up for her she would release another blade right into its mouth to cut into the back of its throat. Given her inability to do much damage to the tough exterior she aimed for the softest parts.

The Meramon yelled and blood spewed out of its eye as its vision was stolen from him. The massive fire construct felt the back of his neck tear. He gargled a little as blood filled his mouth. The wound was relatively small in comparison but the Meramon felt it all the same. Blood shot out of his mouth as he coughed followed by another stream of fire at the close Talvi in an attempt to damage her.
The stream was a short burst and he bent over and a flow of blood spilled onto the charred street turning it a boiling red.
Meramon places his hands on the ground trying to gather himself. Then growled and released a stream of flame from his hands engulfing blocks and buildings. He gripped into the earth and tore up and massive piece of burning rock. The fire construct threw it as hard as he could at Talvi, hoping to catch her disoriented.
A second Magma Bomb.

As the meramon writhed in pain she pulled away to the side watching a stream of flame nearly caught her. The heat alone enough to burn her already charred feathers. She couldn't remain airborne much longer not with such extensive damage to her wings.
She watched as it fell to the ground. The pavement beneath it becoming a giant writhing mass of flames and pitch black. Oddly enough she was again reminded of video games. Many games had volcano's and lava with black stones to play hop scotch on. It made reality feel a bit more surreal. This is what her characters had been seeing as the traversed their worlds imagined by those with twisted minds. Like her who felt no remorse for these happenings even if she had some fault in it through her actions. Past was past however. Just like her lack of remorse she felt no need to change the past but to prevent one of several possible futures.
"You will never win child," she spoke to it while it was on the ground. "Even if you kill me someone else will come along. Don't you want your pain to end?" She watched his movements the sound of pavement cracking alerting her to his intentions. And she dodged as a chuck of pavement went flying by. "Evil never rests"

"You will never win child," she spoke to it while it was on the ground. "Even if you kill me someone else will come along. Don't you want your pain to end?"
The Meramon stood with an eye closed and a pained throat. He let out a low grumbling growl and began to take a step forward. He didn't seem to be weakening fast enough. At this rate, the city would burn to dust or Talvi would run out of strength.
"Evil never rests"
The fire construct let out a cry and reached his hand out to grab Talvi when something caught her eye. A green armored rabbit flew into the palm of his hand. Meramon closed his hand and squeezed thinking it was Talvi. With his weakened eye sight, it was difficult for him to tell the difference. He growled and strained his hand. Small beams of green light began to peer from his fist and Meramon became confused. Within a moment, his fist exploded and a Rapidmon hovered where the hand once was. The flame digimon yelled out in pain, grabbing his wrist.
"Guess you won't be using that hand anymore. Ha ha ha. It was pretty hot in that palm, you should consider a sauna job!" Poe said flying up to Talvi.
"Thanks for doing your best to contain the situation. I'll take it from here!" Poe stated turning to the Meramon.
"Poe, this creature has done enough damage and caused enough of our people's deaths. Carry out his death sentence immediately." Shang ordered from a building top.
Poe nodded, "Aye aye! One lifeless candle coming right up!" Poe chuckled as he pointed his arm rockets at the Meramon who opened his mouth to try and spew another stream of flame.
"Bottoms up!" Poe fired his rockets into it's mouth and down it's throat. The Meramon reached for his throat, gripping it.
"Boom!!!" Poe said with a laugh, just as the creatures head disappeared in smoke and sound. The digimon's headless body began falling backwards, it's body slowly dissipating into data. It crashed into the burning buildings and concrete as he laid on the burning street, his data filled the sky.
Shang leaped off the building, surrounding himself in a digital aura, landing safely. "Tsk. What a mess." He said looking on as the last of the Meramon vanished. Poe flew down towards his partner, devolving half way and landing on his shoulder. "What a rush!"
Shang turned his head towards Talvi and simply stared at her. She could tell, he was not pleased.

Talvi was prepared to dodge the incoming hand. It's body twisting to grab her even as she started backing up. Without warning another digimon came into the battle. She froze watching as it took the meramon's hand. It seemed this new digimon was an ally.
"Guess you won't be using that hand anymore. Ha ha ha. It was pretty hot in that palm, you should consider a sauna job!" That annoying laugh is one she couldn't help but to recognize. Poe; which meant General Shang was nearby.
Talvi looked to Shang as he issued the order. There was little she could do in light of things. Instead she flew down resting on the ledge of the building. She sat with a sigh and watched as the scene unfolded before her. It lasted only a few moments.
Within an instant its head was gone. The light from the missiles almost blinding. Fueled by the heat the rockets seemed to be more powerful than they should have been. That could just be her though. Digimon don't exactly abide by the rules of science.
Shang leapt off the building and Talvi watched him a moment before following. She glided down to land several feet from him. She did not doubt her charred and tired appearance an ugly one. His look said words ones she knew she would hear in but moments.
"General Shuis Long," she started with. She did not doubt that would catch his attention. "He ordered their execution. One died and the other evolved in response to the intense simulation." A short and sweet explanation. In truth that was all there was too it. Though there would be a lot more in her report to W.A.D.A. since she felt no trust towards Shang or his partner. It was their government after all.
