The tour they took Ike on was short and incomplete as they had to get to the dining hall, they managed to show Ike the public bath and guard rooms before heading over. The hall was filling with individuals from outside and quickly becoming more and more crowded. When the guards saw Theos and his group, they took them to where Cora and Raja were waiting. The royals table was quite large and circular, Cora sat at the back facing the room on his throne with his wife at his side. Three seats were next to them. Two on the side of Raja for Don and Ban; who sat closest to Raja, and one on the side for Cora for Kaa. Next to Don's seat was an empty chair and next to that seat was Cole. After Cole's seat sat Jared and next to him were two empty chairs, after those empty chairs sat Blake and next to him was his father Kilgath who sat next to Magi who sat next to Kaa completing the rotation.
At a table not to far from the royals table sat Kim and her family. Everyone was talking at once so the noise was quite loud in the hall, the servants were running to and fro seating everyone and taking meal orders. There was a very large orchestra off to the side playing classical music. Jared jumped off his chair to meet Theos and Kemba, "Theos!" He said walking up and hugging him. "Your palace is amazing. I nearly got lost!" Jared chuckled returning to his seat with Theos and Kemba. Kemba pulled out Theos seat and smiled, "For you my cute friend." He said bowing his head. He'd push Theos to the table before sitting down himself, "It's quite noisy in here isn't it?" Kemba said.
"Yes it is! Everyone turned up just as I knew they would." Cora said smiling. The triplets all made their way to their seats, "Mama, mama! I won stuff!" Ban said to Raja, his tail wagging so fast he was shaking the chair. Raja chuckled, "So it would seem, well done Ban." She complimented earning her a wide smile from Ban. Don sat in his chair and looked to Ike,
"Guess you and I will be sitting together this evening." Don said turning his head back to the festivities. Cole looked to Ike, "So, what do you think so far Ike? Excited? I know these functions are not something you've ever been too but I promise it will be fun." Cole added. Don leaned his head into the palm of his claw while his arm rested on the table, "They're fun at first but then they lose quality when you attend them more often." Don added.
"Theos, Kemba! Congratulations on becoming official royalty tonight!" Blake said, Kilgath chuckled "They haven't completed the ceremony yet! Seriously though, who would have thought that you coming to my fight club would lead to all of this! As a Lord of Coraggio, I am ecstatic that you will be joining the elite of this fine city!" Kilgath said. "We should drink ourselves sick tonight!" Blake said raising his glass. Cora frowned at Blake, "None of my hatchlings are doing anything of the sort!" he said.
"Oh come now Cora! Lighten up! Remember when you had your first drink with me?" Kilgath said. "Yes I do. Midas was out of the city and I got bored so I decided to come see you. You got me so drunk, I was found the next morning in the middle of the desert with no memory of the night prior!" Cora said. Kilgath nervously chuckled, "Did...did that happen like that?" The table laughed in unison. "I do remember that, it took me forever to rid Cora of his hangover with magic." Magi mentioned.
"He also threw up all over my cloak." The table laughed again. Kemba shook his head, "I'd rather keep Theos and myself sober if it's all the same to you." Blake laughed, "Very well! More for myself!"
"So, I guess your attempts to find Midas went in vain?" Cole asked, Magi shook his head, "So far but my spell is still searching. It's almost as if Midas does not want to be found." Magi answered. "Hmm. I wonder why that is? I did not train Midas to rely on only himself." Cole said.
"You trained Midas?" Kemba said, pretending not to know that already. "Yes, Cora and Midas were my best students....I'm sure they have both since surpassed me since I had to stop fighting and training for my mission." Cole looked to Ike, "Though I did train Ike a little bit in private here and there. Just enough to defend himself." Cole stroked his son's head.
"Oh? Perhaps we could spar sometime." Kaa stated, "Unfortunately, Kemba and Theos are the best fighters in our age group right now..." Don added.
Kemba shrugged, "Well...what can we say? We're just perfect with each other." Kemba nudged Theos in the side and gave him a wink.
"Oh ho ho ho! I bet you two are gonna leave your party early to start your own private party am I right?" Blake said, already drunk.
Kemba turned a bright red, "Do-don't be silly...we're going to stay for the whole thing!" Cora also turned red, "How about you two sleep in seperate rooms from now on and not do adult things?" Cora asked. Raja leaned over and kissed him on the face, "Now Cora, you weren't much older when you took me for the first time." Cora's face looked like a tomato after hearing his wife.
"R-Raja!" He exclaimed earning a laugh. The table laughed, "Mama what are you all talking about?" Ban asked, "Nothing dear." Raja answered.
Jared chuckled, "So I guess you two have made it serious then?" Kemba turned red, he got embarrassed easily when people discussed his private life.
The triplets all seemed lost at the conversation.

The bustling noise was almost deafening. All the chatter seemed to grow as they passed by and some got a look at them. He wondered how many had known his father as well. He probably was popular at parties such as this with his out going personality. Theos tail wagged a lot as he realized who was at their table.
"Theos!" Theos hugged Jared back as he came to meet them. "Your palace is amazing. I nearly got lost!" Theos chuckled and flashed Kemba a smile as he pulled out his seat, "For you my cute friend." Theos sat down, "It's quite noisy in here isn't it?" Kemba said earning a nod from Theos.
"Yes it is! Everyone turned up just as I knew they would." Cora said smiling. The triplets all made their way to their seats, "Mama, mama! I won stuff!" Ban said to Raja. Raja chuckled, "So it would seem, well done Ban."
"Guess you and I will be sitting together this evening." Ike nodded slightly. "So, what do you think so far Ike? Excited? I know these functions are not something you've ever been too but I promise it will be fun." Cole added. Don leaned his head into the palm of his claw while his arm rested on the table, "They're fun at first but then they lose quality when you attend them more often." Don added.
"It's just really crowded is all. It's okay though....everyone seems kind," Ike responded to his fathers question.
"We should drink ourselves sick tonight!" Theos wasn't sure he wanted a repeat of that black out, "None of my hatchlings are doing anything of the sort!" he said.
"He also threw up all over my cloak." The whole table laughed, "I'd rather keep Theos and myself sober if it's all the same to you." Blake laughed, "Very well!
"You trained Midas?" Smooth, Theos thought smiling a bit. "Yes, Cora and Midas were my best students....I'm sure they have both since surpassed me since I had to stop fighting and training for my mission." Cole looked to Ike, "Though I did train Ike a little bit in private here and there. Just enough to defend himself." Not that Ike used it very much. He hoped that since they were here he could learn a lot more.
"Oh? Perhaps we could spar sometime." Kaa stated, "Unfortunately, Kemba and Theos are the best fighters in our age group right now..." Don added.
Kemba shrugged, "Well...what can we say? We're just perfect with each other." Theos chuckled.
"Oh ho ho ho! I bet you two are gonna leave your party early to start your own private party am I right?" Blake said, already drunk.
Kemba turned a bright red, "Do-don't be silly...we're going to stay for the whole thing!" Cora also turned red, "How about you two sleep in seperate rooms from now on and not do adult things?" Theos had to laugh at Coras response. It wasn't going to happen but it didn't make it any less funny, "Now Cora, you weren't much older when you took me for the first time." Cora's face looked like a tomato after hearing his wife.
"R-Raja!" The table laughed, "Mama what are you all talking about?" Ban asked, "Nothing dear." Raja answered.
Jared chuckled, "So I guess you two have made it serious then?"
"We have," Theos said bluntly. "Maybe after the coronation can come a wedding," Theos nudged Kemba his cheeks no doubt becoming redder if at all possible.
Ike looked at them funnily a moment but said nothing. They were together.....in that way? He supposed he shouldn't be surprised they were pretty close even at first glance. He wondered how that worked exactly.....he looked away quickly trying to find something else to focus on. That wasn't something he should think about. Especially in front of others.
Ike looked to the musicians they made some really pretty music. He wondered what it took to learn to play himself. It would be nice to have a hobby outside of trying to become a warrior. Maybe he would find his passion here.

"We have," Theos said bluntly. "Maybe after the coronation you can come to the wedding," Theos nudged Kemba his cheeks no doubt becoming redder if at all possible. Kemba looked down trying to ignore the eyes on them. Jared nodded, "I wouldn't miss it for the world!" He said. "Marriage?" Cora said frowning, "I forbid you two marrying until you're at least one hundred!" Cora said. Raja giggled, "Oh Cora, you're such a protective father."
Cora scratched the back of his head, "Is it a little soon?" Raja shook her head, "You just don't want your precious children to grow up. You're going to have to learn to let go." Raja said kissing him on the cheek. The servants began to bring them their food. It was a very wide selection of meats, soups and vegetables. "They can grow up to be a million years, they'll always be my children." Cora said, earning a pat on the head from Raja.
Kilgath laughed, his big old belly jiggling, "They're gonna go and do their own thing Cora! Can't stop them, at least your kids room isn't directly above yours! I have invested in ear plugs for that reason." Kilgath began to laugh and Blake did a spit take, "DAD!" Blake shouted. Magi took a sip of his wine and laughed, "Well it saves me the lesson of the Birdramon and FunBeemon...I'm beginning to think only Ban will be attending that class." Magi said looking over to Ban who was playing with his food.
Kaa chuckled, "Yes....I can go without that class thank you." Don shrugged, "I wouldn't mind your take on the books I've read about it."
Cole had schooled his son himself since being servants they were not allowed an education. "I remember teaching Ike about that just last year when I noticed he was getting curious about his body. My wife went shopping that day, and we had a nice show and tell."
Raja chuckled, "Yes well my Kaa is guilty of that, he makes the cutest of noises when he thinks he's alone. Reminds me of how Cora used to be." Cora turned his head and eyed his wife, "Raja!!" Cora yelled. "I was passing by his room one day and thought I heard something so I eavesdropped. I didn't know what he was doing at first." She said trying to sound innocent. Cora planted his face into his palm and shook his head.
Don turned red at the thought and furiously shook his head to clear it. Kaa turned completely red and slid under the table wishing he were anywhere but there, Ban was aloof to it all however and Kemba gave a nervous smile feeling a bit uncomfortable about how freely the parents talked about their children on such matters.
Blake took another spit take, "C'mon guys!! Is it written in some book of parent law that says thou shalt embarrass your kids in public settings!?" Blake said. Kilgath laughed, "We're not being parents if we don't do that!"
Cora shook his head, "Okay! Not the proper time for this kind of talk! Honestly this family!" Cora said. Jared laughed so hard, he was so happy that Theos had found himself a great family to live with. Jared cleared a tear and looked at Theos, "You've gone and found yourself a great family Theos. I am so happy for you."
Blake cleared his throat, "ANYWAY! Before our parents continue to embarrass us further! Can we get back to what this party is actually FOR?" Blake asked, "So...Theos...Kemba, when are you two planning on marrying?" Blake asked. Kemba looked at Theos, "Whenever Theos wants. I do whatever he says...well almost everything." Kemba said reaching his paw over his hoof in a show of affection and giving him a smile. "He's my heart and soul after all."

"They're gonna go and do their own thing Cora! Can't stop them, at least your kids room isn't directly above yours! I have invested in ear plugs for that reason." Theos laughed heartily at Blakes embarrassment, "DAD!" Blake shouted, "Well it saves me the lesson of the Birdramon and FunBeemon...I'm beginning to think only Ban will be attending that class."
Kaa chuckled, "Yes....I can go without that class thank you." Don shrugged, "I wouldn't mind your take on the books I've read about it."
"I remember teaching Ike about that just last year when I noticed he was getting curious about his body. My wife went shopping that day, and we had a nice show and tell."
"More tell than show," Ike clarified sheepishly. Why were they even talking about all this?
Raja chuckled, "Yes well my Kaa is guilty of that, he makes the cutest of noises when he thinks he's alone. Reminds me of how Cora used to be." Cora turned his head and eyed his wife, "Raja!!" Cora yelled. "I was passing by his room one day and thought I heard something so I eavesdropped. I didn't know what he was doing at first." Theos snorted as he took a bite of his meal.

"Yes I have," Theos responded smiling.

"Well we will probably let things settle a bit after this event then do it after awhile," Theos said smiling at Kemba. "Cora may not be eager to see you guys grow up. But I'd like for everyone to enjoy the type of love we share at some point."
It was a good wish to have even Ike admitted that. He had no idea who would be his one and only. He knew only those sitting at this table. Everything in time he supposed. He wasn't that eager to do much else than train anyway.

"Well we will probably let things settle a bit after this event then do it after awhile," Theos said smiling at Kemba. "Cora may not be eager to see you guys grow up. But I'd like for everyone to enjoy the type of love we share at some point."
Cora sighed, "I'm not exactly eager to let you two grow up either." He emphasized. "Well when you two do have it, I expect to be the best man!" Blake said. "Noted," Kemba replied.
"Seems everyone has settled in." Magi said eyeing the room, "So it would appear!" Kilgath added. Cora stood from his chair, "Well then perhaps some dancing before the crowning?" He said holding out his claw to his wife, "Oh Cora I would love to dance with you." She took his claw and Cora lead her to the floor.
Cole sat back in his chair and watched the pair, "My gosh has that boy changed. I don't even recognize Cora anymore. He's so mature and not sheepish." Cole felt like he missed a lot since his being away. "Well now you'll be able to catch up." Kilgath said grabbing a new plate.
When Cora and Raja began to dance, the room seemed to follow suit. Couples began to dance with one another, and three females approached Kaa who had recovered from his mother's previous tale. "Hello Prince Kaa, we were wondering if you would dance with us?" The three different girls said. A Floramon, a Piyomon and a Tailmon, Kaa looked at them and smiled. Ban chuckled when he saw them, "Kaa's popularity is beyond his years." Kilgath said. Blake chuckled, "He's a young heir that will inherit this great kingdom. If I were a young girl, hell, I'd wanna dance with him too!"
"So money and power is what drives them?" Kemba said, "How deplorable." He added. "That's just how most things work sadly," Magi added.
"Thank you for the offer ladies, I will be more than happy to entertain you a while." Kaa got down from his seat and followed them to the floor. Don sighed, "The cutest prince strikes again." Don said sitting back in his chair.
Blake laughed, "If you'll excuse me, I see a certain gal eyeing me over there. I'm gonna go introduce myself." He said excusing himself and walking over to a table. Kilgath watched and shook his head, "I swear how I'm not a grandfather yet is beyond me."
Cole looked to his son and reached his arm around him, pulling him into his side in an embrace. "Feel free to go and dance. You can't make friends if you don't mingle a little. A good looking kid like you is bound to find someone." His father said, rubbing his son's arm. Don watching from his seat.
Kemba took a bite of his steak and looked at everyone dancing, he caught a glimpse of some other female digimon looking to Theos. "Oi Mr. Soon-to-be-prince, you're being eyed. Looks like Kaa isn't the only one who can attract a ladies eye." Kemba said chuckling.

Cora sighed, "I'm not exactly eager to let you two grow up either." He emphasized. "Well when you two do have it, I expect to be the best man!" Blake said. "Noted," Theos had already planned on it.

"Hello Prince Kaa, we were wondering if you would dance with us?" Theos had to smile at the three. How bold to come up to ask him, "Kaa's popularity is beyond his years." Kilgath said. Blake chuckled, "He's a young heir that will inherit this great kingdom. If I were a young girl, hell, I'd wanna dance with him too!"
"So money and power is what drives them?" Kemba said, "How deplorable." He added. "That's just how most things work sadly," Magi added.

Blake laughed, "If you'll excuse me, I see a certain gal eyeing me over there. I'm gonna go introduce myself." Maybe they should go to the dance floor as well Theos cast a side long glance at Kemba, "I swear how I'm not a grandfather yet is beyond me."
Ike looked up as his father hugged him, "Feel free to go and dance. You can't make friends if you don't mingle a little. A good looking kid like you is bound to find someone."
Ike looked about the room uncertainly. He wouldn't know who to ask let alone who to approach. They all looked so fancy and he was...well him. Not to mention even though he had seen plenty of dancing nobles he himself had never danced.
"Oi Mr. Soon-to-be-prince, you're being eyed. Looks like Kaa isn't the only one who can attract a ladies eye."
"Maybe I should go ask them to dance," Theos said. "Unless someone else would like to ask me to dance," Theos said nudging Kemba with a smile.
With everyone getting up to dance Ike looked to Ban and Don wondering if they too were going to dance. He didn't really want to be left out. Maybe he should go ask someone to dance.

Maybe I should go ask them to dance," Theos said. "Unless someone else would like to ask me to dance," Kemba laughed and pulled out his seat from the table to stand up and looked at Theos.
"My sweetest Prince Theos, wilt thou honor me with this dance?" He said trying to act the part of a noble. He held out his paw and waited for Theos to take it. Once he did, Kemba would help Theos down from the chair and move in to give Theos a kiss on his mouth, to ward off any and everyone eyeing either one of them. The ladies watching frowned and moved away, Jared smiled at the two "Have fun!" He said. Ban frowned, "I wanna dance too! Theos, Kemba can I come dance with you?" Ban asked. Kemba chuckled, "Of course you can Ban, you'll have to wait your turn." Ban smiled, "Okay!" He said leaping out of his chair.
"Cora wasn't kidding when he wrote about Theos and Kemba being in love. It reminds me of the bond I had with my wife." Kilgath chuckled causing meat to fly from his maw. "That a boy Kemba! Show those spectators that Prince Theos is yours!"
Kemba looked back and winked at the table taking Theos to the floor with Ban at their heels. Don looked on at everyone dancing and gave a half smile, taking a bite of his food. "No dancing for you two?" Jared asked Don and Ike. Don shook his head,
"No one to dance with besides Ban and he's only ever interested in clinging to Theos and Kemba." Don said. Jared chuckled, "Well if I was a few years younger, I'd show all these bigguns how to really boogie!" Jared said.
Kilgath chuckled, "I'm far beyond the body I need to dance, that's for sure." Cole shook his head, "You really let yourself go Kilgath." Kilgath smiled, "I know! Isn't it grand?"
"Technically, I'm on duty so I cannot dance otherwise I'd have no problem taking my boy out there." Cole replied. Don shrugged it off, "Dancing is overrated anyway."
Magi laughed, "Shame though Don, you had been practicing extra hard for this day. Looks to me that you're just disappointed no one is around to dance with you. I'm sure Kemba and Theos would dance with you if you ask." Don looked at Magi slightly embarrassed.
"I was practicing because it's my duty as prince to know how to dance at events like this should I ever need too. Besides, Kemba and Theos already have to deal with Ban, no way I'm becoming a head ache to them."
Kemba reached the desired spot on the floor and got into the leading position, "This will be the first time since we moved here that we'll be dancing together. I've been practicing just for you." He said with a smile. Ban stood at their side thumping his tail to the floor happily waiting his turn.
As soon as Theos grabbed hold of Kemba, he'd begin to lead his partner through the steps masterfully. "How am I doing?" Kemba asked gazing into Theos eyes. "I hope it's to your liking."

"My sweetest Prince Theos, wilt thou honor me with this dance?" Theos chuckled and Kembas wording.
"Of course Lord Kemba," Theos responded taking his paw.
"Have fun!" He said. Ban frowned, "I wanna dance too! Theos, Kemba can I come dance with you?" Ban asked. Kemba chuckled, "Of course you can Ban, you'll have to wait your turn." Ban smiled, "Okay!" He said leaping out of his chair.

Ike watched them for a moment. How bold of them. he took a few more bites of his food. He had never eaten so well. "No dancing for you two?"
"No one to dance with besides Ban and he's only ever interested in clinging to Theos and Kemba." Don said. Jared chuckled, "Well if I was a few years younger, I'd show all these bigguns how to really boogie!" Jared said.

"I was practicing because it's my duty as prince to know how to dance at events like this should I ever need too. Besides, Kemba and Theos already have to deal with Ban, no way I'm becoming a head ache to them."
"This will be the first time since we moved here that we'll be dancing together. I've been practicing just for you." Theos smiled at Kembas words. He took his paws in his hooves and got into position.
"How am I doing?" Kemba asked gazing into Theos eyes. "I hope it's to your liking."
"How could i not like it. I have the best view of the room looking right at you," Theos said with a low pleasured rumble. His steps following Kembas their movements in sync to the music.
Ike sat there and thought as he ate. Don didn't want to dance with anyone was that because he didn't know anyone either? Even though he's lived here forever. Or was it because it was hard to approach others and ask to dance? Maybe he was hanging back to keep him company which didn't sit well in his mind.
"Do you want to dance," Ike asked Don a bit sheepishly and rather quietly. It wasn't really an invite to dance with him but it could be taken that way. "I mean it would be a waste if you practiced so hard to never use it."
The party was in full swing when he arrived....or she if one had to go by the clothes he was wearing. The beautiful evening gown had itself cut out from the side to wrap around his belly button insinuating a slight curve to his form. The one side swept the floor while the other side revealed most of his calf. His thin shaved legs moved with ease in his red high heels. In fact his entire theme was red from his dangling red tear drop earrings and simplistic golden chain filled with tiny rubies. To his red strapless dress and lightly padded bra. He even had a few red feathers sticking out of his blue hair that was propped on the back of his head in a bun.
It was going to be fun being pretty much the only human here. He walked into the room with his winning man eating grin. He paused a moment looking about the room before his eyes caught another human like figure. Much taller than he. Not that he cared he approached the Shawujinmon and dragged him away from his friend. Much to the digimons surprise.
"Care to dance handsome," he purred in his most feminine voice. He reluctantly agreed and they took to the dance floor.

"How could I not like it? I have the best view of the room looking right at you," Kemba chuckled, "I was thinking the exact same thing." Kemba put his nose to Theos's nose and kissed him briefly.
"You ever think things would be different if Dan were still here? I wonder if we'd have fallen in love anyway." Kemba said making conversation as he lead Theos across the floor. "It's only because he died that we fell in love. Though admittedly, I think I began to like you during the sleepover we had. I would have never said anything to you though." Kemba moved in to grab Theos by his hips and make the dance a little more intimate, like Don had done to him when they first began to learn.
The sound of his heart, beating from behind his breastplate into Theo's ears. "I was almost positive you didn't like me in that way, you never did tell me when it was you realized you loved me." Kemba said continuing the dance steps. Ban stayed silent, watching the two dance. He found himself enjoying it, honestly, he was fine just watching them.
"Do you want to dance," Don looked at Ike, "I mean it would be a waste if you practiced so hard to never use it." Don chuckled, "You realize that this style of dance is made to be done between two individuals who love one another right?" Don paused a moment then smiled and jumped off his chair.
"I don't mind dancing with you Ike, but to think you so bold to ask a complete stranger? Perhaps I've made some kind of impression on you?" He teased. "Well Ike, if you plan on doing this I'm ready when you are. Do try to mind my toes. I'm sure this isn't something you've done before." Don smiled and opened his claw to take Ike's. Cole released his embrace of Ike, "Go enjoy yourself. I'll be right here if you need anything."
Don would take Ike to a corner where there were very few eyes to reduce Ike's uncomfortable situation. "Alright then Ike, have you done this before? You also have very nice hands by the way." Don complimented.
Jared watched them go and turned to Cole, "Your son seems very reserved." Cole nodded, "Yes. He's never really been outgoing but when his mother was murdered, it got worse."
"If anyone can change that boy's heart, this group can." Kilgath said finishing his tenth plate and taking another. "Yes. That is my hope. I want Ike to be free of Scomparsa as soon as possible." He said watching his son with Don.

"I was thinking the exact same thing." Theos smiled at him.
"You ever think things would be different if Dan were still here? I wonder if we'd have fallen in love anyway." Kemba said making conversation as he lead Theos across the floor. "It's only because he died that we fell in love. Though admittedly, I think I began to like you during the sleepover we had. I would have never said anything to you though." Theos though about it. If Dan hadn't died they would be with W.A.D.A. right about now and he had no idea what their relationship would be like. Would Dan have been jealous if they did? Would it ruin their friendship? Or would it forever have been a secret?
"I was almost positive you didn't like me in that way, you never did tell me when it was you realized you loved me."
"I don't know when I fell in love with you," Theos admitted. "That day in the mines when we went to rescue Dan. I left so I didn't have to watch you and Mamemon. I left because I was jealous. I didn't know why at first but then I realized it was because I loved you. It just sort of happened over time I suppose. Dan was always cute and friendly. But you were strong and admirable," Theos said his gaze resting on Kemba gently.
"You realize that this style of dance is made to be done between two individuals who love one another right?" Ike blushed at that realization and looked down.
"I don't mind dancing with you Ike, but to think you so bold to ask a complete stranger? Perhaps I've made some kind of impression on you?" He teased. "Well Ike, if you plan on doing this I'm ready when you are. Do try to mind my toes. I'm sure this isn't something you've done before." Ike looked at him nervously.
"Go enjoy yourself. I'll be right here if you need anything." Ike nodded at his fathers words and followed Don.
"Alright then Ike, have you done this before? You also have very nice hands by the way."
"Thanks," Ike said taking Dons hands. "Yo-you too," he said a bit sheepishly. He started following Dons lead. He had never danced but he had seen the nobles do it. So he got a general idea....even if he had two left feet. He kept his lower half a bit back to give himself enough room without stepping on Don. He had to look ridiculous.
Meanwhile the blue haired human was enjoying himself greatly. His dancing second to none on the floor. He could see the looks from the side lines from men a women alike. Oh how he was enjoying this. If only they saw what his normal dancing was like he was sure they would be all a blustered and blushing. He did like men more than poles when it came to a show though.

I didn't know why at first but then I realized it was because I loved you. It just sort of happened over time I suppose. Dan was always cute and friendly. But you were strong and admirable, Kemba shuttered at the mention of Mamemon.
"Mamemon...it's been forever since I heard talk about him. The things he did to me since I was just a cub..." Kemba said. "I'm glad you and Dan didn't have to endure him like I did for ten years." Kemba said. "I wasn't very strong or admirable. I just knew how to survive. That's all you can do living there." Kemba looked around the room, and noticed the human dancing. He arched a brow at it but returned to his own dance, "Strange people showed up." He said.
Don danced with Ike, leading him through the steps. It was awkward and incorrect but Don didn't mind it, "So Ike, this may be a bit premature given we just met but what happened to your mom?" Don asked. He soon realized how insensitive that must have sounded and shook his head, "I'm sorry, forget I asked. I'm sure it's a difficult memory for you." He looked at Ike and he blushed slightly, "I've noticed you have no clothes or armor, do you not have any? Your father wears it." Don said changing the subject. "I can imagine that walk through the desert must have been cold."

"Mamemon...it's been forever since I heard talk about him. The things he did to me since I was just a cub..." Kemba said. "I'm glad you and Dan didn't have to endure him like I did for ten years." Kemba said. "I wasn't very strong or admirable. I just knew how to survive. That's all you can do living there." Theos knew it had been a mistake to mention him, "Strange people showed up." He said.
Theos cocked his head then looked about noticing the woman in red....a human. "Strange people indeed," Theos said his gaze turning back towards Kemba. He nuzzled his head into his shoulder. Their talk had turned sour and now he was looking to others. Theos bit back the slight bitterness he felt. Instead he focused on the sound of their hearts.
"So Ike, this may be a bit premature given we just met but what happened to your mom?" Ike was already looking at the ground to his feet to check them so he had no place to put his eyes, "I'm sorry, forget I asked. I'm sure it's a difficult memory for you." He looked at Ike and he blushed slightly, "I've noticed you have no clothes or armor, do you not have any? Your father wears it." Don said changing the subject. "I can imagine that walk through the desert must have been cold."
"We were servants. Poor was the word to be honest. We barely made enough to eat let alone afford clothes. My dad tried to get me to wear them once but it felt really odd," Ike responded ignoring the question about his mother. "You're really lucky you know....you'll never know the hardship of being just a step above a slave."
Ike hated thing about that place when ever he did it brought a fire to his gut. "I hate that place. They killed my mother because the man who raped her turned up dead. They all deserve the same fate....one day their kingdom will fall." A horrible thing to say maybe but that was the way he felt. "I hope to grow strong here....maybe even make enough memories that such terrible thoughts fade away...." he fell silent and continued his movements a bit stiff.
"I'm sorry....this is a party....shouldn't we talk about something enjoyable," Ike said looking around a bit. "What about girls....or music?"

"Strange people indeed," Kemba looked down to Theos as he leaned into his shoulder. He noticed that conversation had grown awkward and thought. Kemba smiled, "I never told you this but the night of Dan's death, I was so torn and defeated that I nearly gave up on living. I was so afraid that I'd get you killed that I thought it best to take my own life, so I took my sword and planned to run myself through with it." Kemba began, he brought a paw up and rested it against Theo's head. Holding him to his chest.
"Though you knew that part, what you don't know that I saw Dan that night. I don't know if it was his soul or a hallucination because of my grief but he pushed me to be with you." Kemba began to rub the back of Theo's neck affectionately, "I think that even if the events of that day were different, and we were agents of W.A.D.A. right now, I believe that Dan would have pushed us together. I have no doubt in my mind that at some point, we would have always gotten together. Till death do us part."
At some point the two had stopped dancing, and Kemba was just swaying back and forth in an embrace of Theos. Ban stood there watching with a cocked head, "Kemba....Theos....can I dance with you two now?" He asked assuming they were finished.
Meanwhile Don and Ike remained in there corner, away from the rest of the crowd. "We were servants. Poor was the word to be honest. We barely made enough to eat let alone afford clothes. My dad tried to get me to wear them once but it felt really odd," Don did not know that feeling admittedly, he always had everything he would ever need.
"You're really lucky you know....you'll never know the hardship of being just a step above a slave." Don frowned hearing the pain behind Ike's words.
"I hate that place. They killed my mother because the man who raped her turned up dead. They all deserve the same fate....one day their kingdom will fall." Don stared expressionless at Ike, their dance all but swaying at this point.
"I hope to grow strong here....maybe even make enough memories that such terrible thoughts fade away...." Don's grip on Ike's hands loosened a bit.
"I'm sorry....this is a party....shouldn't we talk about something enjoyable, what about girls....or music?" Don paused a moment eyeing Ike. He considered his words and smiled.
"You're right. I'll never know what it feels like to be poor and hopefully I'll never know what it's like to feel the rage that you've expressed to me." Don began,
"I am a Prince who was given everything and who knows no hardship. I am well educated and a decent fighter. I do not know the level of pain you do and with any luck, I won't for a very long time but that is for the best. It will be what helps you." Don said, no doubt earning a curious look from Ike.
"All I know how to be is happy and I was raised to share that happiness, I will not try to force you to forget your past. In fact, your past needs to be remembered. I've read in several books that pain is a very strong motivator. It causes one to thrive to prevent tragedy from repeating and reminds a person what it is they're living for."
"That will make you stronger but I've also read that pain that becomes rage, corrupts the mind and heart of the individual. The person experiencing it must find someone to share it with, a person who can help them keep themselves from experiencing complete sorrow." Don smiled.
"You have to find someone that will remind you how to be happy. Your dad for instance, he is able to move forward with his life because of my dad and everyone here. He came back to a happy place to offset his own sorrow and rage." Don looked over to Cole who was drinking with Jared and Kilgath.
"He feels the same as you, but he has not succumb to hatred and closed himself off." Don looked back to Ike, keeping the sway of their movement going. "Let my brothers and I be that happiness for you. Let us show you what it means to have a bond." Don tilted his head.
"If not them, then if you'll let me, I'd like to be the person you can rely on. I am still young and inexperienced but I cannot ignore someone who is hurting. If you wish for a shoulder to cry on, mine will always be available. Let your pain drive you but let your friends heal you." Don reached his claw to Ike's shoulder holding it.
"Now that I've said my piece, we can talk about something enjoyable. We can talk about music if you want, though..." Don gave a half smile and grabbed the back of his own head, "I'm not into girls sorry....that doesn't make this weird for you does it? We can stop if it does." Don said with a nervous chuckle.

It sounded like Dan didn't it, "Kemba....Theos....can I dance with you two now?" Theos chuckled a bit at Bans inquiring words.
"Sure Ban who you want to dance with first," Theos said straightening a bit and casting Kemba a smile. "I'm sure he would too....then probably ask to watch," Theos said chuckling.
"You're right. I'll never know what it feels like to be poor and hopefully I'll never know what it's like to feel the rage that you've expressed to me." Don began,

"He feels the same as you, but he has not succumb to hatred and closed himself off." Like Ike had done.
Let your pain drive you but let your friends heal you." Friends? Had they really become friends in such a short time? He had a tendency to blurt things out when uncomfortable and even then his brute honesty had put others off.
"Now that I've said my piece, we can talk about something enjoyable. We can talk about music if you want, though..." Ike looked to him his head slightly cocked, "I'm not into girls sorry....that doesn't make this weird for you does it? We can stop if it does." Don said with a nervous chuckle.
Ike shook his head no. "Thanks," he said letting them keep moving. "I was scared to come here. I'm glad it was unfounded....so you read a lot hmm," Ike said letting the flow take them. He liked music and Don liked books. He couldn't read that well though his dad had taught him some. Ike had enjoyed those rare moments when his dad was able to teach him through the years.

"Sure Ban who you want to dance with first," Theos said straightening a bit and casting Kemba a smile. "I'm sure he would too....then probably ask to watch," Theos said chuckling. Kemba laughed, "Yes Dan would definitely do something like that." Kemba released Theos from their dance posture as Ban approached them.
"I wanna dance with Kemba!" Ban said looking to Kemba. Kemba bowed his head to Ban, "It would be my highest honor Prince Ban." He held out his paw with a smile and took Ban's claw in his own. Kemba began to lead Ban into the dance, Ban concentrating on his feet so to not mess up.
"Well Theos, this is supposed to be a party for you to get to know our guests so that the proposal for a unified city will be supported. I'll dance here with Ban for a bit so go mingle okay?" Kemba gave Theos a wink and went back to dancing with Ban.
"Thanks, I was scared to come here. I'm glad it was unfounded....so you read a lot hmm," Don nodded,
"Books tell you everything and can send you to fantastic places and live a different life through the main character. I've amassed my knowledge by reading a lot. I have recently taking a liking to human literature, fairy tales. Humans have quite the masterful stories." Don said continuing their dance. Although it was more of a bob than an actual dance at this point.
"My favorite literature is history. Knowing the past helps prepare for the future. What about you Ike? What sort of things do you like? Did you have any hobbies back in Scomparsa?" Don asked.
