"We'll kick his ass together," Talvi said to Sam as she watched him go into the ruins. She followed him with a grumble. The crazy bear was as loud as ever. She was starting to hope he triggered a trap and got an arrow in the ass.....watch what you wish for. He triggered a trap and before Talvi could realize what was going on she was closed in and alone.
"Bloody hell that bear is getting a beating," Talvi snarled and sighed. She started walking arms crossed and her lips pursed in a frown. Annoying......very annoying. There needed to be more digimon like Naoi and Sam. At least they were likable. She kept her eyes peeled for indents in the floor walls doing her best to avoid anything suspicious. Given the downward slope she knew she was at least going deeper. She just had to make sure she remained thy for the show down.
This place was elaborate trap wise. The separating walls..... it was odd. She wasn't expecting anything beyond basic traps....maybe there was something to this place after all.

Sam grinned as she nodded her head. The idiot was not going to shut up and this was obvious. When they followed him inside he opened his big fat mouth again. Now he was getting more than just a beating from her. Sam had that feeling again as he sprang the trap and she squealed as she found herself separated from them.
"I'm going to murder that cute ice version of myself." She roared. Taking a page from Talvi's book had her watching the floor and her surrounding area for signs of a trap ahead. She sighed as she continued on knowing she had to work on her own. Where was Anubismon when you needed him.... Though she was fine on her own for now. She needed the experience anyways so she let herself think of her friends that she had met through this.
She felt a pang of Loneliness as she looked at the walls for any thing out of place. Her ears perked up as she realized she could hear better. She sniffed the air and pick up stale air. No one had been there in a long time.

As Talvi would walk through her hall, it descended into the earth. The walls were aligned with fire symbols and the depiction of a faded tiger of some sort. The temperature began to increase and the sounds of cackling flames could be heard. Talvi upon reaching the bottom would see the entire bricked floor painted with a tiger on it. In the center of the tigers face was a glowing stone, was this what they were looking for? The layout of the room clearly felt like a trap, and removing the stone could possibly trigger it. Maybe there were pressure plates here as well?
Sam meanwhile kept walking down the straight path, coming to a wall. It seemed a dead end when suddenly, she saw a mist of cold air coming from it. "GLOOOOOOOOOOOOORIOUS!" She would hear as Yukidarumon burst through the forzen wall. He looked at her and reached around hugging her tightly, "MOTHER I FOUND YOU!" He yelled squeezing the air from her lungs. He released after a moment, resisting all forms of harm Sam might inflict, "I am so happy I found you! GLORIOUS SUCCESS! I have found the room to which our desired location needs to be to find the stone of which our task presents! HALT!" He exclaimed looking around, "WHERE IS OUR BINGO FRIEND THAT DOES NOT PLAY BINGO!?" He said constantly looking around, clearly the room was much to narrow, so what he was searching for exactly was lost.

Talvi walked up to the marking not touching it however instead she leaned into the ground holding out on taloned hand. The heat was coming from somewhere The question was if the floor would fall away or if it was in the walls.....maybe both. It was obvious either way it was a trap. She would move away quickly if anything happened. If this truly was the stone then where was their supposed foes.
Talvi would stand back up and move from the symbol. Instead she flew up to the ceiling and grabbed on with her talons in the cracks between the bricks hanging like a bat. It would be a matter of surprise or maybe even a different perspective. She hanged there staring at the symbol. She had seen it multiple times in the hallway. Was it a guardian spirit? A trap? A fake? It was too easy to find. Her gaze went to taking in the rest of the room. It seemed rather plain everywhere else but maybe it was meant to. She began searching everywhere else.

The wall had confused her until she heard the screaming. He had found her it seems, was it dumb luck or her bad luck? Either way it was some sort of luck. She endured the hug because she had missed him. Odd thing since he annoyed her but he had endeared himself to her. And someone had to care about this idiot. Must be her motherly nature that did her in. "I missed you too, but please keep it down." She said patting his head. She knew she had to explain. "You triggered a trap that separated us." She said gently. She patted his shoulder showing him that she wasn't mad anymore. She sighed thinking. Talvi would find them, she was sure of it. She gently took his paw and walked the way he had just come. Hoping Talvi was nearby.

As Talvi looked around, the room did not stand out. However, the image of the tiger was incomplete, it was missing a parts that appeared on the symbols on the walls. It's tail, canines and claws were missing, perhaps this was a clue of some sort? The drawing was painted in white around the stone. Written in the paint were glyph of some sort. It was in a language that was not recognizable, clearly not human and they weren't any characters used by today's digimon either. What was this odd room she had found and even more this stone?
Meanwhile..
Yukidarumon walked with Sam all the way to the end of this hall, a door blocked their path and next to it a hole in the wall that lead into a treasure filled room with a lever at the end. "This is the room those scoundrels chased me from!" He said, he slowly peaked his head in and saw two Goburimon sleeping next to bones from meat. "That is them......." He whispered. "What should we do!?" He asked.

Talvi paced to where the tail was suppose to be testing the ground right against his rump. Her foot coming down to push lightly to see if it shifted any. If it did she would stop immediately afraid she might trigger a trap otherwise. Either way she would stare at it a long moment. Nothing ventured nothing gained. If the stone did something she would step on it to see what it did and be prepared to flee. If it did nothing she would step into the tiger to look at the stone more closely. If anything happened she would take flight and hang from the ceiling or diving for the far hallway if the ceiling wasn't safe. If nothing happened she would inspect the stone and the area around it without touching it.

Sam made sure to stay as quiet as she could as went down the hall to the end of it. She looked in and put a paw to her mouth not daring to speak yet. She watched the two as they slept. One wrong move and they would be fighting them, well they were going to battle them anyways but she wanted the element of surprise. Or something close to it. Her gaze went to the door wondering what was behind it. Nothing good was her thought process as she looked back into the treasure room. She eyed the lever and felt the foreboding feeling again. She hoped it stayed quiet as she watched the sleeping digimon.

As Talvi pressed down, the stone went down with her. Once it was fully pressed, a click could be heard. The reaction caused the ceiling to spout three mirrors all aimed at the tiger drawing on the ground. The stone began to light up and shot a beam of light at the mirrors which all reflected it to the far wall. The beam was so concentrated, it was leaving a singe mark on the wall. Perhaps Talvi could use this somehow? What was the purpose of this puzzle? What needed to be done? She was on the right track however. Upon expecting the mirrors, each would have a metal plate that could cover the reflective glass, and each could be rotated and flexed in any desired location.
Meanwhile...
Yukidarumon watched Sam and wondered what they should be doing, "Miss bear mother that looks like my mother bear, what should we do? Those hooligans may sleep now but certainly they will wake to embark on a glorious mission for breakfast!" He said. "That lever looks like it opens this door in front of us. To which my highly trained treasure hunter abilities tell me our goal lies behind!" He mentioned. The Goburimon made loud snoring noises and turned in their sleep, each with their own puddle of drool collecting by their heads.

Talvi flew up touching the mirrors and positioning them to look at the tiger. The beam now only on the one she looked at the reflection to see if the teeth, claws, and tail were there. If not she had a decent idea of what to do. She angled one to point at the base of the tail. Then he aimed the beam to it. Hoping that as she moved it a tail would reveal itself. If not it probably had to be reflected back at the stone.

Sam looked to her new friend. "I'm in agreement that they will want food and they will target us. I'm leaning towards attacking them but I'm worried about messing up." She explained. She nodded towards them as they moved in their sleep. If Talvi was here it would be different and she wouldn't hestiate to fire first. She looked at the lever he had mentioned with a careful eye. It could set off a trap as well. She felt like chancing it though. She looked back to him. "How are you battling skills, my dear one? I am still new to fighting but I'm willing to battle since we need to survive this." She said smiling. The fact she had given into his calling her mother meant she felt it. The maternal feelings had always been strong with her and now she could be a surrogate mother. She wanted to protect this crazy bear at all costs. She looked around hoping Talvi was safe. If these were the only Digimon here besides them meant she was and her heart felt at peace. A lot had happened to them in such a short time that she had thought her heart couldn't take any more heart break.

Talvi would notice as she moved the beam, that the outline of the tail did begin to show itself. All she had to do was trace it and finish the drawing. When she successfully finished it, the stone in the center would drop a little into the floor and a click could be heard. The mirror would close to stop the beam from reflecting off of it's surface. The ground would rumble slightly. It would be felt throughout the temple. It was a small tremor and didn't damage the structure of the ruins. Hopefully, Talvi was on the right track.
Meanwhile, the tremor was enough to shake the Goburimon but they did not wake. Yukidarumon overreacted to the small tremor by throwing himself to the floor, "GLORIOUS!" He would yell as he fell face first into the treasure room. Surprisingly, the Goburimon did not wake. The tremor's took place before he had the opportunity to answer Sam's questions, "Oh my....what a magnificent and terrifyingly powerful earthquake! The magnitude of it's seismologic strength has tripped me off my soft fluffy feet!" He would say, he stood realizing he was in the treasure room. "GASP!" He yelled, "I have invaded the room without a proper plan! THIS IS GLORIOUSLY SCARY!" He yelled. This time, the Goburimon stirred, "Eh...wot?" One would say as it tried to look around the room.
Yukidarumon pretended to be a statue, the Goburimon yawned and stared at the Yukidarumon for a good while. "Ehy...wazzat statue always deya?" The one asked the other, "I dunno....maybe? Peraps it waz." He replied. They had yet to notice Sam.

Talvi stepped back cocking her head at the stone a bit as the ground shook. She imagined that click was the trap being disabled. Talvi approach the stone touching it wearily to see if it was as hot to the touch. If so she'd leave it alone to think a moment. If not she'd take it out still prepared to flee if somehow she had missed a step. After a moment of thinking if it was hot to the touch she would revert and take off her shirt. She would use it to pick up the stone and if it didn't set off another trap return to her Harpymon form. She didn't need clothes in that form anyway.
If she managed to get the stone either way her thoughts would turn to the other two. Wondering where they were before starting back up the hall to try and break through to one of the other paths. If she set off a trap she'd try to a avoid it.

Sam was acutely aware that any kind of misstep would wake them up and when Yukidarumon overreacted to the tremor she froze midstep. She kept quiet as she waited with baited breath as they shifted in their sleep but they remained asleep. She slowly exhaled and stayed close. The tremor meant Talvi had accidently set something off. Though it was bound to happen since they were not used to this place. Her eyes moved around as she thought up ways to stay hidden. She listened as he shouted and she motioned for him to keep it down.
But the second time he overreacted they woke up and began talking like Englishmen having tea time. She remained in place even though she wasn't seen yet. She listened as she found it amusing that they were unsure if her friend was a statue or not. When they realized it she would be ready. She was memorizing the layout and calculating the Probability of her attacks causing chaos. She felt Talvi would have done the same.

As Talvi approached the stone and reached for it, the glow of the stone got brighter and brighter until it sent out a powerful burst of energy that would be to quick and widespread for Talvi to dodge and send her flying back into the furthest wall with a powerful thud. Once she smashed into the wall, she would inadvertently set off another switch that caused the stone to fire a beam of energy at the mirrors that reflected it to a section of the wall, where one of the tiger's missing claws were supposed to be. If even by a painful accident, Talvi had discovered the next clue as to what to do.
Though the shock wave was strong enough to shake the ruins again and Yukidarumon had moved as a result alerting the Goburimon, "EHY! YO NOU STATUE!" Goburimon A said standing, Goburimon B glared, "Yo' dat bloke dat waz hea a few days ago! We thought we ran ya out we did! Guess we ah gonna have ta teach ya a lesson ain't we!?"
Yukidarumon jumped up, "GLORIOUS FEAR! Please good green sickly looking sirs! I am but a simple treasure hunter! DO NOT HARM ME!" He hollered. The two Goburimon clanged their clubs together, "We wuz gettin' 'ungry, guess wea 'avin beah!" Goburimon A chuckled.
"ALAS UGLY FIENDS!!! I HAVE BROUGHT MY GLORIOUS MOTHER TO DO BATTLE WITH YOU!" He hollered pointing out Sam. "You all will feel her GLORIOUS WRATH!" He exclaimed then ran to hide behind her. The Goburimon's looked at one another.
"He'z still dumba than a rock he is!" Goburimon B said, his friend nodding, "Aye, let'z eat'em both." Goburimon A licked his lips eyeing both bears, It seem Sam would have two Goburimon to contend with now.
