Talvi shifted her feet through the hot sand. Alright this was unbearable. There was a reason she liked New York and now she knew why. Because it was cold and she could curl up to be warm. Here she just wanted to strip to illegal proportions. She stopped suddenly as her D.I.G. beeped. These were the coordinates. Only there was nothing in sight. They had headed straight south and moved around accordingly to her map. She had to wonder if there was a time limit too. Like he was only here in the mornings or sunset so he didn't have to be in the heat.
With that in mind she had every reason to believe he couldn't be far. She looked to Sam. "I'm going to get a better view," Talvi said. "Initialize," she commanded and with a bright burst of green light from her D.I.G. she evolved and took flight. Her eyes scanning the desert for any signs f their would be employer. Her wings left her gliding effortlessly on the shimmering heat waves of the desert.

Sam didn't mind the heat or the sand at all, which surprised her. Normally she was indoors cleaning up after her mother or her sisters not out and about. The map Talvi had used had gotten them there and with no problems of any kind. Sam had noticed that Talvi wasn't liking the conditions they were in. Sam could see the brunette curled up with a book not in this weather. But they had a mission and she wanted to help out. Talvi had become the sister she needed and somehow being older than her by a few years didn't matter at all. They acted the same age and it felt to Sam atleast that Talvi was actually her long lost twin. She smiled at the thought since she was the oldest triplet. Well she was considered dead by her family so having a twin who wasn't related to her or her age meant everything to her.
Sam reacted to Talvi's words by smiling and nodding her head. "Good idea, I'll look around oown here in a minute." She replied. She watched her fly off then scanned the area in deep thought. It was too easy in her opinion and she sensed Talvi felt the same way. ""Initialize," She said calm as could be. The brown light of her D.I.G envloped her and she digivolved in seconds. Pounding her paws together to help her gain confidence and reassure herself that she was capable made her energized. She started to walk in the direction Talvi had taken since land Digimon could easily be in wait under the desert's soft body.

Talvi would see nothing from the air despite her searching. Unless of course her goal was to find endless sand. Sam on the other hand, while walking stepped on something soft. It was a different kind of soft from the sand. It was fleshy almost. Upon stepping on this new surface caused two white colored arms that looked exactly like her own brown ones to burst forth from the sand. They waved frantically which Talvi would soon notice. A muffled noise came from below as a Yukidarumon head popped up. "GLOOOOOOORIOUS!" It shouted loudly. "I, YUKIDARUMON LIVES!!!!!" He exclaimed loudly. It seems the hybrids had found their treasure hunter.

Talvi had been busy looking around everywhere but where Sam had been walking. Suddenly a loud yell startled her she stopped abruptly her wings flailing a bit to catch her balance as she turned around and hovered there. Out of the sand beneath Sam came out what one could only describe as a white teddy bear. Talvi swooped down and landed her talons sinking into the sand a bit.
"I guess you're the treasure hunter," Talvi said letting her wings rest on her hips. Now that she thought about it. She looked between the chocolate colored bear. Which she could tell was Sam for some reason and the white one. They were the same thing just different colors. It left her scratching her head as she wondered how many other variations there must be of different digimon.

Sam saw the treasure hunter was just another variation of her hybrid form. She knew that either way she had to be careful. It was ice so she had to watch it's attacks. She waved to Talvi knowing she was only able to tell them apart because of her fur color. A pesky thing since she knew it must confuse others. Talvi was still watching the two of them. "I'm glad I'm a different color and able to speak." She said voicing what both were thinking. She watched the other Digimon. She walked closer to Talvi to make sure her friend was okay.

Yukidarumon shook wildly to remove the sand from his body and looked at Sam and Talvi, "What is this? A Harpymon and....is that you mother!?" The obnoxiously loud hunter asked, "FOR SHAME! I thought for sure W.A.D.A. would send me help by now! Instead I am greeted by my mother and her bingo friend! WOE IS ME!!!! The Summer's Eye will always elude me? AM I DESTINED FOR GLORIOUS FAILURE!!?? WILL DONUTS EVER BE HEALTHY!?" He hung his head low and sighed, "I suppose I shall wait for the day when such sweet jelly filling will fill my body with sweet succulent healthiness and I can finally fit into my limited edition W.A.D.A. guild master print boxer shorts." It was now apparent that this fellow was three playing cards short of a full deck.
"THOUGH FOR NOW! I must concentrate on gaining my treasure! You there! Mother and bird! Could you perhaps assist me with my noble quest!?" He exclaimed.

Talvi looked unamusedly at the dramatic bear with a raised brow. What did donuts have to do with anything? She shook her head. She liked chess ten times better than bingo too.
"The name is Talvi and we're from W.A.D.A. you sent a request for help. I do not play bingo either," Talvi responded deciding it would be better to ignore the fact he called her bird. Though she did find it a bit humorous he was calling Sam mother. His mother must be the same species but he had to be fricking idiot to think his mother would be out here.

Sam blinked twice as she was called Mom by this nut of a digimon. She hoped not all of them were this dense. "I'm Sam, also from W.A.D.A." She said looking at Talvi. She did find it concerning that he considered her, his mom. The donuts remark also unnerved her a bit. She had no idea why as she stood there.
She nodded her head as she thought about the quest. They were here to help after all. "After you then." She said looking over at Talvi. She waited for the other digimon to lead them. Who knew what kind of search this would yield. She brushed off some sand that had drifted onto her shoulders. If he got Talvi hurt, she shook her head not even considering it. She'd tackle that when it happened. The sand felt warm under her paws as she glanced at Talvi.

The Yukidarumon eyed them, "I SEE!!! SO you are the famous W.A.D.A. hybrids I have heard stories about in the water closet! GLORIOUS!!! Then we shall at last have the Summer's Eye that I have had in the palm of my paw but had snatched away from me by a couple of RUFFIANS! Now that I have Sam of the bears and Talvi of the not bingo, we cannot falter!" Yukidarumon yelled into the sky of the desert. "Now my comrades who look like digimon who are actually humans who have digimon powers, we must go forth to the ruin of the summer eye! Deep in it's trap infested hall, we are sure to find CAKES COOKIES AND OTHER GLORIOUS SWEETS OF VICTORY WHEN WE SNATCH THE SUMMER'S EYE!" Yukidarumon turned and began to run in a direction, throwing up sand behind him, nearly burying the girls should they remain. "GLOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooriuuuuuuuuus" His voice trailed off as he ran into the desert.
What had they gotten themselves into?

What was that damn bears idea of a treasure? She suddenly hoped it wasn't anything sugary. He it better not be all he ever thinks about. She was keen to pull out now but she wanted to keep her mission success rate at hundred percent. Curse W.A.D.A. for false advertisement. They should have put in a warning about a crazy bear.
"Hold up you crazy ass bear," Talvi said taking flight and following him at a decent distance so Sam could keep her in sight if she didn't move as fast as him to keep up. It had to be the promise of sweets he told himself about. Talvi shook her head. He had mentioned traps though she had to think and take precautions. Though odds were there was nothing there.

Sam raised an eyebrow as she listened to his rant about sugary treats. She watched as he took off and she sighed loudly as the sand hit her in the face, blinding her for a minute. She rubbed her eyes and noticed that Talvi was already in the sky. She ran after her so she wasn't lagging behind. "Wait for me!" She cried.
She managed to get under Talvi but the screwy bear was still in the lead. He must have been used to running like a lunatic. She hoped it was worth it in the end. Running was something she wasn't used to at all. She preferred staying in one spot for long periods of time. The thought of gardening crossed her mind as she tried to keep up with the snow bear. She made a mental note to do some when she could. Wait didn't he mention traps?

The Yukidarumon finally came to a halt, stopping just outside a half buried ruin. "WE HAVE ARRIVED MOTHER AND NOT BINGO FRIEND!!!!" The bear yelled throwing his arms into the air. "Finally the long awaited return to the temple is at hand! The Summer's Eye will be ours!!" The snowy fool broke out into a maniacal laughter. He stopped suddenly as his hired hands caught up, "Inside this dangerous, deadly, dark, dank, suffocated space is two brutes who chased me and another agent out! We must beat them up, claim our eye and then sell it for UNITS!" He exclaimed. "Only one problem is....I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO GET BACK TO THE ROOM! GLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIOUS FAILURE!" He yelled into the desert air. If there were two digimon inside, they now knew they were here.
"Fear not though mother and bird woman who does not play bingo with said mother! I, YUKIDARUMON! GREATEST TREASURE HUNTER IN HISTORY! Will see you there!" He yelled. "Now!!! Who's going in first?" He said turning around and pointing into the ruin. "I shall watch our backs! FOR I AM MAN WHO PROTECTS THE BACKS OF HIS ALLIES!" He exclaimed once again. One had to wonder the head trauma this poor creature must have endured.

Talvi glided down and landed beside the treasure hunter. She looked at the ruins as he spoke. It certainly looked interesting enough. Who knew if their foes was still inside however or if they already got what they wanted and left. Talvi gave him an exasperated sigh as he mentioned watching their backs. The guy was a pussy in reality wasn't he. She wondered if she threw a spider on him if he'd scream like a girl.
"If others are in there before us hopefully they have sprung most of the traps. We should still be careful," Talvi said looking to Sam. Her wings would be useless in the confines within so she would have to play support. Her voice should be handy enough with warning or possibly preparation if given the chance.
"There is probably ways to disable some if we come across them," Talvi again was going to go off her knowledge of video games. "Most popular traps are arrows, spears, poisonous gases and pitfalls. So be careful. If the halls are wide enough I may be able to blow the poisonous gases away til they settle. And I doubt I could carry either or you so pitfalls would be a big issue," Talvi was sure she touched on most things. The rolling boulder was mainly just a game and movie thing. No historical buildings have ever had one.
"As an explorer you have rope right," Talvi asked the crazy bear. If not it would make things harder in the instance they did fall into a trap.

Sam looked at Talvi as she landed next to her once they came to a complete stop. She looked up at the ruins with a bad forboding feeling creeping up on her. She tilted her head as she thought of all the naive and stupid treasure hunters who went in before them. Sam and Talvi were not idiots but the bear with them was. She sighed loudly as she imagined all the traps she had ever seen in movies. A certain whip carrying man came to mind as she gave the ruins another look over. She looked over at Talvi as she spoke up about traps. "I know there are traps in there, you are wise in telling me to prepare myself." She said.
She continued to listen with nods of her head as she agreed with her. "Makes sense to me, Talvi. Remind you of classic games and movies, doesn't it. I hope it isn't too small in there, my arms and legs need to be able to move freely." She said keeping her eyes on Talvi. Their idiot companion made her flinch when he announced what they were doing. She rolled her eyes knowing they were in for it now. She glanced at Talvi as she resisted the urge to slap that bear. They now had no element of surprise now that he announced their presence.
She moved to the digimon and put a paw over his mouth. "You just made it harder for us, they now know we're here. Talvi, please let me punch him later." She said stepping away from him. She nodded her head as she looked at the blouder. She remembered these kinds of things from one of her favorite game series.
"He'd better have some."

"My apologies! I shall be more quiet while we GLORIOUSLY explore these ruins!" He said then looked around his waist, "ALAS! Oh...I mean....alas I do not have my utility belt! If we need something to climb on, I can always use my freezing powers!" Yukidarumon walked over to a nearby wall and punched it, it immediately froze over. "I will not let the pit that requires falling defeat us!" He exclaimed throwing his paws on his hips. "NOW LET US....Oh I mean............now let us go! GLORIOUSLY!" He said venturing forth into the ruins, first no less. It seemed he forgot his statement moments before.
They would walk through a narrow hall, the light of the sun completely gone. As if beckoning them onward, the torches lit through the halls. "Nothing looks familiar!!! Hmm....how odd! I was certain the room to the treasury was down this hall!" Yukidarumon frantically looked around. He approached a wall and pressed it, unknowingly pressing a pressure plate. The group would hear a clicking noise, and the walls would begin to shift. "GLORIOUUUUUS!" Would be the final thing they would hear Yukidarumon say before the walls separated him. Before either Sam or Talvi could react, a wall would separate them from the other as well. A new hallway opening up for each, Talvi's leading down and Sam's leading straight, Yukidarumon no where to be found.
Each tunnel beckoning the hybrids down it.
