"I learned the story from Anubismon after under going the trail. He was content to sate my curiosity," He turned his head slightly to see her approach. "I'm clever more than skilled. I watch, study and learn. We all learn through studying after all we'd have a much harder time learning to walk if we hadn't watched our parents first."
"So why have you been down here for three millennia," His smile returned to him. "Anubismon, the angel of death...I should have guessed." He chuckled a bit, "Why else but to keep Lord Baihumon asleep? He is to sleep until the Awakening when he will reshape this world with his brothers. When the angels have died out and they can rule unencumbered once more. So here I remain, to keep my master in slumber and sated." He answered.
"And what of you? Why did you seek this temple? Surely you did not seek to find this place." He asked. As she inspected his pedestal, all he was simply doing was hovering his hand over the jewel.

"We came after a little something called the Summers Eye. Though I assume it may be important to your work," Talvi said turning her attention back to him. The Awakening and reshaping the world huh. "You are probably going to be waiting awhile more. I doubt your angels have all perished yet and I'll probably be long dead before they do."

"I know not what this Summer's Eye is you speak of, though I have not been in the upper chambers in just as long it is not impossible over the millenniums that a great many treasures have been both stored and stolen from here. This temple serves one purpose and you are seeing it with your own eyes." He turned his gaze back to Baihumon, "Patience is a virtue...I can continue to wait for millennia more if need be. I can sense them from here, the angels have depleted greatly. There is a great darkness above....and below. Perhaps you will see the Awakening after all." It sounded ominous, the way he said that.
"There is no exit to this domain...so you should probably make yourself comfortable." He spoke calmly.

This temple serves one purpose and you are seeing it with your own eyes." Well if it wasn't important to him then taking it when she left wouldn't be a big deal., "Patience is a virtue...I can continue to wait for millennia more if need be. I can sense them from here, the angels have depleted greatly. There is a great darkness above....and below. Perhaps you will see the Awakening after all." Anubismon had said many of the knights had gone missing....was he saying they are dead? It would make sense since no one had seen them. Although he called them angels and not knights or guardians. Then again he was worshiping a giant tiger as a creator of a new world.
"There is no exit to this domain...so you should probably make yourself comfortable." He spoke calmly.
"I entered it didn't I. It may have been a brief window but I am sure another will open. How do you know they are dying? Can you communicate with the outside somehow," Talvi asked. She was a bit worried about spending a millenia in here. In truth this place was probably timeless so she might not die. Or if she did grow old and die at least it would end the boredom at some point.
"Even if I can't open the way maybe I could get word out to Anubismon. I don't doubt he could get me out of this place. Or would that be considered meddling with mortal affairs," Talvi continued sitting and leaning against the pedestal.

"There is no window. The only being that can escape from here is one not tethered to this world...much like Lord Baihumon. One can only fall and not rise, if you weren't a hybrid...you'd be dead. The child of Irismon is protecting you from Lord Baihumon's hunger. It is why your evolution is impossible, however futile, you will eventually starve here or die of thirst. Your company will be nice, however short it may be. I haven't spoken to anyone in a long while." He chuckled ad bit.
"To answer your other questions, I can feel the life force of any specific being so long as they're in this realm or the next. I know if it belongs to digimon or human, angel or demon, god or demigod. There has been a great purge and it is still ongoing...I am to release the spell of slumber once the last angel is dead be it from natural causes or genocide." He looked to her slightly, "As for the angel of death, he does not associate with humans. Try as you might, but he will not come." Clearly his understanding of Anubismon was commonplace but Talvi was not. It was just a matter of how she could call to him.

She'll have to go get chinese after this was over.

"Anubismon is kinder than you give him credit for. Then again though I don't see gods in the same light as everyone else," Talvi thought about it though. The only reason he would save her is to make sure she can face their common foe. Well how should she contact him? Prayers worked in religion so she just had to think it strongly enough she guessed.
Anubismon, she called in her mind. Got myself in a bind....a big one a white room with a giant tiger named Baihumon.

"Anubismon is kinder than you give him credit for. Then again though I don't see gods in the same light as everyone else," The robed figure laughed a bit, "I have never known an angel of death to be kind. He is also a demi-god. A lesser being among the immortals, built for one purpose and that is to judge to purgatory or to grant rebirth. So I suppose your vision of him would be different in that regard." He found her trying to call to Anubismon entertaining.
As hard as she tried though, her prayers came back without answer. The robed figure paid her no more mind unless spoken too.

Talvi smirked at his laughter as she stopped the prayer. There had been no answer and honestly nothing was ever that easy. She bet he go hundreds every day. If he didn't sort through them in batches he'd probably spend every waking hour going through them. The only thing that would make her stand out is the Baihumon thing but that was at the end so odds were he may not read that far.
She faintly remembered seeing him in a dream though its contents were somewhat lost on her. Though it was just a dream and it really wasn't him. Maybe she should try imaginings. A strange thought sure but maybe calling to him in a day dream would be unusual. It was a step up from a prayer.
She closed her eyes and imagined the room which wasn't that hard since not much was here. She then began imagining anubismon. Calling his form in her mind to this space. She waited as she imagined him and if he didn't actually come she'd sigh.
She would probably have to wait til the brink of death or something. She opened her eyes and looked sideways at the robed man. At least she had company for awhile.
"Names Talvi by the way. What's yours," She would ask.

Her daydream did not prove anymore useful than her prayer however, Naoi did not appear. After a moment of trying, she sighed and rose and the robed man noticed her distraught but made nothing of it. Telling her I told you so seemed a bit childish.
"Names Talvi by the way. What's yours," He turned his head and looked to her, "Hmm...my name doesn't exist in your modern tongue. It is from a language lost to time. I suppose you may call me Damian, it is the closest to my actual name." He looked to her and decided he should try and cheer her up.
"I wouldn't feel bad, Anubismon isn't a god people pray to...he is someone they fear. He does not answer prayers because he pays them no mind. Though to be quite honest, I am curious why it is he you have placed your faith in. There are many gods in this world. The higher beings than Anubismon would be a much more logical choice. To worship an angel of death, it is boggling to say the least. It is nearly akin to worshiping the seven fallen." He said. Talvi would likely get this response again if her ties to Anubismon became known. It was peculiar for her to befriend a harbinger of death.

"Well I am an unusual person. I have no fear of death I'm mortal after all; it is inevitable so there is no use in fearing it. I guess that transfers to the fact I don't fear gods either. Doesn't mean I'd cross them though. I may not fear death but I don't have a wish for it," she chuckled a bit. "I wouldn't say it is worshiping him either more like I have a respect for him after meeting him. I haven't met any of the other gods unless you want to include sleepy head over there. I'd probably throw him a box and a ball of yarn until I got to know him."

He didn't seem to thrilled about Talvi's equating Baihumon to common house cat. Such was his expression. "Lord Baihumon isn't some house cat. He's the strongest and youngest of his three brothers. It is fine if you don't fear them or worship them, but I do ask you to at least respect them for what they are." He said.
"So he is not someone you worship but met, no doubt during the trial of elements when he bestowed upon you the spirit. I can't imagine such a short interaction was enough for him to actually pay you any mind. It isn't in his nature. Not to mention it is forbidden for demi gods to mettle with human affairs. Him more so being a grim reaper." He looked over to her.
"Your only hope is waiting for the awakening. Perhaps Lord Baihumon will be merciful and allow to escape. Hopefully, you will live long enough to see it."

"Lord Baihumon isn't some house cat. He's the strongest and youngest of his three brothers. It is fine if you don't fear them or worship them, but I do ask you to at least respect them for what they are." Talvi had offended him. Though she supposed that was to be expected. He seemed a rather devote follower so a joke like that was beyond him. "Your only hope is waiting for the awakening. Perhaps Lord Baihumon will be merciful and allow to escape. Hopefully, you will live long enough to see it." "We'll see I suppose," Talvi said letting their conversation die on that sour note. She didn't doubt he probably wanted to be left to his thoughts now. They had differing opinions and she had insulted his god. He probably didn't care for her company so much now. She wasn't going to apologize either it was the first thought in her head. And it has also been proven even big cat's like boxes, yarn, and laser pointers. She began thinking of ways to pass the time but eventually stopped. There wasn't much to do here besides talk to Damian. Whom she might offend again considering the fact they had little else to talk about. They probably had nothing in common and considering he has lived for millenia without food and water he most likely was some immortal digimon. Given that fact the human world had changed a lot if he had ever been there odds were it was completely different now. Asking his past would be mundane and probably pointless. She felt her stomach churn just a bit in hunger. If she knew she was going to be trapped here she would have brought some rations. Though she doubted anyone could have guessed this. Maybe she could cannibalize the wizard. She didn't doubt that would backfire big time but it put a smile on her face. Best thing she could do is sleep it off she supposed. The bodies functions slowed down when one is asleep so her metabolism would slow making what little fat and energy she has last longer. She laced her fingers together and reclined against the pedestal relaxing. She had fallen asleep sitting up only one other time in her life. That was sitting in a chair binge watching a show. It was a detective show and she always knew who it was before the characters. Yet their process of deduction had always left her wanting more. She began recounting the episodes one by one in her mind in order. It was kind of like counting sheep as she relaxed with her eyes closed. Eventually the stress of the day caught up and she drifted off. She was sitting in a chair at home. Her gaze went out the window to a blank white space. Trapped again and reminded of home. How quaint and human like of her. She got up sighing and went to the kitchen she could at least eat in her dreams. Though a living mini-turkey in her fridge made her shake her head and close it before it could jump out and scratch at her. Dreams could be so strange even more so under stress. She wondered if Anubismon would show back up. She got to thinking about it. He had another name didn't he. What name made sense to her? ....Naoi. She would have to force herself to remember that when she woke up. Dreams were much too fleeting. Although her brain knew it as though it had made a real life impression. "Naoi," she called out looking around the room. She walked over gazing briefly into her bedroom before turning and going to stare out the window. At least here she could brainstorm all she wanted. She wondered if there was a sigil for summoning him. She would have to go through her knowledge on egyptian and digimon lore and writing. Write it out in blood....yeah fun times were ahead.

"Naoi," Talvi said on a whim of rememberance. She looked around the bedroom and then gazed towards the window, deep in thought. As she stared at it's emptiness outside, the beige curtans blew towards her and a small gust of wind went through her leaving behind a familiar chill of death. The name she called out seemed to have worked, her connection to the grim reaper. She would turn to see a small purple flame hovering above the bed.
It was familiar, it could be Naoi but it bore no significance too him. "Summoning me to a strange place again." The familiar and calming voice of Naoi echoing from the purple flame. "I wonder if this would become a regular thing. Your minds world is not as strong as our last encounter...I can only send my own soul to meet with you." His small purple flame seemed both dangerous and foreboding as it did calming and inviting. "Your mind called to me this time...not your soul. You were deliberately looking for me. Why?" He asked his ghoulish form floating in place.

"Your mind called to me this time...not your soul. You were deliberately looking for me. Why?"
"Because trouble always seems to put me in the presence of gods. I found another god named Baihumon," She said sitting far enough from the flame so not to be burned or touch it. She bet he would feel weird having his soul touched. "According to his follower which keeps him slumbering the white room is impossible to escape from. I figured only another god could get me out of there."

"Because trouble always seems to put me in the presence of gods. I found another god named Baihumon," The purple flame showed no change but then again it was expressionless. "According to his follower which keeps him slumbering the white room is impossible to escape from. I figured only another god could get me out of there."
"So the free bird finds herself caged once more," It sounded as if Naoi chuckled a little but it was hard to tell. "What makes you so positive you can rely on me? I am not your partner digimon." He said. Clearly what he said was true, but if he didn't find her company appealing, then why answer her simple call at all?
"Perhaps you should reap the consequences of your actions." He said coldly. It seemed he was being his typical, difficult self. Though he wasn't directly saying he wouldn't help her, it seemed he was either playing games or testing her. More insight into who she is and what she stood for perhaps?
