Testing the Limits

"So in such a short time, you have had quite an adventure. Even discovering the resting place of a god. You have done what only Sanji, our founder, had done. He befriended Anubismon as well...though it sounds to me that your relationship with him might be growing a little deeper than you realize. In fact, I think it is scaring our angel of death." She chuckled imagining a cute scene in her head.

"Now that I understand, do you want my advice or have you any questions?" She was older and wiser when it comes to affairs of the heart. Reading about it was one thing experiencing it was another.

"Advice I suppose. Honestly I couldn't imagine Anubismon being scared of anything. Let alone human emotions. I am rather inexperienced in the matters of relationships," Talvi replied. She wondered what she should do to reassure him. Not like he was exactly the brightest person to be around but he was strong and smart. One would think he would figure it out and learn to calm and deal with those emotions. Maybe he needed time or maybe he needed an ear. Not like she could force him to talk he could just stay hidden from her.

"Advice I suppose. Honestly I couldn't imagine Anubismon being scared of anything. Let alone human emotions. I am rather inexperienced in the matters of relationships,"

Ino nodded, "My advice is to help Anubismon. He is a demi-god, a being whose soul purpose is to damn or save a soul. He has been disconnected from his own emotions, caring not for anything or anyone. Even the small sign of friendship he held with Sanji was more of a respect then anything."

Ino leaned back and crossed a leg over the other, "I don't know if you and he love one another but that canine has put himself purposefully in your path more then once. Clearly he feels something near you. Perhaps he is rediscovering what he once had a millennia ago. Lives are like a candles flame, gone in a puff. The warmth is temporary. I can imagine he hasn't felt a warmth of emotion in to long to count."

Ino thought, "You said he told you he cannot see you anymore and took off to the heavens. I imagine that is fear of becoming vulnerable again. He is confused and doesn't know how to express it. It's honestly a scary thing for something with immeasurable strength to be open and defenseless." Ino suddenly leaned forward and held Talvi's hands.

"Do not let him give up on himself. That is what this is, he is giving up on his heart because of how he has lived to this point. If you truly care for him, be it platonic or more, then even if he seals you in the deepest depths of his area, reach out and pull him from his own darkness. Though I cannot speak for you, that is my advice. Do with it what you wish. If you're fine leaving this as it is, then make sure because your mind the way it is now."

Ino pointed to the hub, "Is going to get you killed. Make a resolve in your soul and fly on its winds as the wind hybrid."

A candle; that was certainly a way to describe life. Especially when he is immortal. He was afraid of his emotions most  likely because he knew one day she would be gone and him left alone in his sorrow.

However she could be used against him. She would be more the burden than the help. Even so her mind and her gut fought all the more.

That includes Anubismon. I will protect him and grow strong enough to do so," Talvi answered. While it was a long winded reason she needed to justify herself. She needed to justify the idea she may be a burden in the long run and that she would do her utmost to prevent that.

"I thank you ma'am. I may be book smart but I have so little real life experience its pitiful. I'm glad to have talked to someone like you," Talvi thanked her slowly standing.

"My resolve...my resolve is to stop these forces from getting out of hand. We will eventually have to face Bagramon and his army. When it comes time to do so we will need every ally we can get. That includes Anubismon. I will protect him and grow strong enough to do so,"

Ino stood with her and gave her a soft smile, "It was my pleasure to speak with you, before a commander, I am still a woman and as such it is my duty as one to help with other women however I can." She became stern looking for a moment.

"What you have told me does have me worried. These dark dealings Anubismon had confided in you. He says that it is a spirit world matter, but if things are left as is they won't be forever. So, Talvi, as commander I am bestowing upon you a mission of Ultimate rank difficulty. I want you to assist our mutual friend in learning all you can about the dark world's movements. So long as it remains in the spirit world, we cannot intervene but you will act as ambassador for us. You will report your findings directly to me or your Guild Master. I will brief him after. This is something only you can do. I and the entirety of W.A.D.A. trust you to get it done."

Ino's stern look faded and she moved in to hug Talvi, her impressive chest kept her at a distance despite Ino's best efforts to fully embrace her.

"Ask yourself this Talvi, now that I've made it an official mission, do you only want to protect him because of your duty and oath? The way you made yourself sound, that seemed like you were hiding another reason. Probably the real reason. Admit to yourself what it is. If you're too scared to, then you can't help him properly." Ino pulled away and began walking passed her.

"Maybe I'm just misreading all your signs but, I'd stake my career on it. Good luck Talvi." Ino walked towards the door but could be stopped if called too.
